SUGARCANE raw bar grill Las Vegas
Not bad and not good. Food was bland, everything needed salt. Server forgot about us. Waited up to fifteen minutes to get my card back after receiving the tab.
Went for happy hour - menu looked great, unfortunately you can only order from happy hour menu if you are at the bar which did not have any seating available.
Loved everything about the place amazing food, good service, you can’t go wrong with sugarcane!!!
Really disappointed in our experience here. I had called in advance requesting a special birthday treatment to accompany dessert, was assured there were noted on our reservation and all was well, and on the day of our server was completely unaware of his birthday to the point that she didn't even offer the dessert menu, nor bring anything out after clearing our main plates. We left after not enjoying our poorly crafted main meals, and I was incredibly disappointed that I chose this spot for us to kick off his birthday morning, as there was nothing done to make him feel special or cared about in any way. In addition, the service was ridiculously slow for a Friday morning considering there were so many empty tables around us. Unfortunate, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
octopus and Caesar salad were excellent. Efficient service.
We had the filet with asparagus and mushrooms, octopus, shrimp tempura and the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. It was absolutely delicious. They have little plates perfect for sharing.
Our waiter was very hard to understand his accent was very thick and he talked too fast at 7 pm they crank up the music so you can’t have a conversation if you want to talk during dinner go before 7 otherwise it’s a yelling match
Awesome food, Awesome service
Bone marrow with beef cheek and duck fried rice with foie gras were delicious.
Other small plates were disappointing, as was the overall experience.
I could not believe the prices at Sugarcane. this is Vega, so a lot can be forgiven; the whole town costs too much. But the special SHOT Show bourbon drink list was ridiculous. I mean, $30 for a 1.5-ounce pour of Knob Creek bourbon? An entire 750-ml bottle costs only $45.
Vibrant place with unique tapas variety. Greatly enjoyed food and atmosphere
This was our third experience here, all were equally poor. This occasion we had a 1:00pm reservation for lunch, we checked in at hostess, waited 10 minutes, the inquired about status only to find out the had mistakenly given our table away. A few minutes later they got us a table. Service was incredibly slow(it was after 2:00pm before we recvd our food), the food is actually pretty good but very small portions. Basically every experience has been the same....polite but very slow service, unorganized & unprepared staff, descent food but not good enough to offset all the shortcomings. Never going back.
Extremely poor service. A business lunch took us 2 hours. It took 45 minutes just to get 2 salads. Food came out at all different times. Just not a good experience at all.
Can’t get food out of kitchen. Server so so
The food was amazing! We had the goat cheese croquettes, smoked salmon pizza, and beignets and all were so well executed. The service was great and timeline - highly recommended as an option for a relaxed outing in Vegas!
New Years. Server very good; friendly professional . Service excellent
Great happy hour!
We loved the shared plates. Every plate was unique and different. We loved the variety of flavors and textures. Every dish was excellent.
Good service. Food was ok but too expensive for what you get!

There were so many yummy things to try, I had a hard time choosing. The Tuna Tartar was to die. The ambiance was modern and inviting and I would go back again in a minute!

Great service and menu. The oysters were delicious and the king crab legs served warm. An impressive wine list and knowledgeable server made it a memorable spot!

Food and service were fine but lacked that next-level quality.

Great food. Small plates. Average service. Very loud.
We enjoyed a great experience. We had a reservation but arrived early and asked if we could sit at the bar, where Shay took excellent care of us. We started with the happy hour oysters, which were fresh, ice cold and deliciously briny. We followed with the caviar, American waygu and a decadent desert. A lovely and memorable evening.
Enjoyed, but can be pricey just doing tapas
Service was great. We had oysters and the lobster rolls....they were okay.
We went late after the Knights game. The wine list was ok, but nothing with any age and limited selection. The bacon wrapped dates were excellent, the beef empanadas were good, but I have had better. Service was excellent.
Worst food EVER!!!! It was not worth our time or money. My husband got sick.
We love this restaurant! Breakfast was amazing and portions good. Avocado toast and eggs Benedict great! Mimosas awesome!!
Two of us of shared about 8 different small plates. While they were all very good the standouts were the bacon wrapped dates, octopus, tuna and brussel sprouts.
Bring your wallet, the menu is pricy and it’s tapa style plates. That said, everything was delicious! They forgot our empanadas but made up for the inconvenience. Good service, I would have liked to have another cocktail and had to ask. The water person was on his game! Overall experience wry good. The DJ music had us dancing in our seats.
Sugarcane has an interesting theme. The food was great.
Food was generic but good. Not like the first few times I came here. The service and location are great.
We enjoyed our lunch, but did have a bit of a time getting our server to bring our check. She was lovely, and just very busy.
When we arrived, we were promptly greeted by the hostess and taken to our seats. Our waiter soon greeted us and brought water and a drink menu. Though happy hour was only at the bar, our kind waiter asked his manager if we could have it at the table. The manager kindly agreed and stopped by our table to greet us.
My son ordered a small steak with wild mushrooms while my husband and I ordered 2 dozen raw oysters, the Pork Ear Pad Thai Papaya Salad, and the Chicken with Wild Mushrooms and Potatoes. They bring things out as they're ready so we didn't get everything at once, but that was fine. We took turns eating what was available and had a great time.
My son enjoyed his steak - it was cooked medium rare, which was what he requested. It was very tender, juicy, and flavorful. He even ate the mushrooms, which is unusual because he hates them.
All three of us ate the raw oysters easily and wanted more, but decided to wait until all our dishes were eaten before ordering more. The oysters were fresh and came with a side of horse radish, lemons, and Tabasco sauce.
The Pork Ear dish was heavenly. I am afraid of eating unusual body parts, but our waiter assured me I wouldn't even notice they were pork ears, and he was right. The fried ears were crispy, crunchy, and warm (freshly made). They were tossed in strings of papaya and carrot, and then dressed with a light and sweet dressing, and sprinkled with cilantro, slices of jalapeno, and other herbs. The dish was so tasty, we ate it with the quickness.
Our chicken, wild mushrooms, and potatoes dish came out last. It was a whole chicken! It was nice and tender, and the presentation was beautiful. My husband and I couldn't finish it, so we got the rest packed up to go. I did wish the chicken was a little saltier - it tasted a little bland because of that, but everything was cooked perfectly well. The mushrooms and potatoes were tender.
We had a wonderful time here and will for sure come back again when we are in Vegas!
This was one of the highest rated restaurants on Zagat and Open Table. We were not disappointed. Extremely friendly and gracious staff. The three of us had numerous sharing plates - all were delicious and just the right portions. It's off from the gaming area of the Venetian casino. Would definitely go back.
We were going to see Jackson Browne, and wanted to eat at the Venetian. Checked out the menu and it looked good. It's a tapas type bar, so they had a lot of selection. The waiter was nice and knowledgeable, and everything was great. We had the stuffed dates with bacon, which were delicious, as was the smoked salmon pizza, and the short ribs...also amazing. It was pricy, no question, but we'd eat there again.
Went during happy hour and ordered one of everything! Pig ear pad Thai was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The bone marrow and spicy pork shoulder off the main menu was also pretty phenomenal.
