Atmosphere was good but food wasn't

The food was excellent. Our waitress Michelle was excellent and very attentive to our table. Our only complaint was the seating. We were seated at a small table at the back of the restaurant which was acceptable except for the fact there was a long table set up close to us for a larger party. There was not enough room at the table and they had to add another table to accommodate the guests. This made us feel uncomfortable with the closeness of the table to us..certainly not the acceptable six feet distance. We will certainly be back for special occasions but please keep the safety of your patrons in mind

I reserved a table on line for my wife's Birthday a couple days before we went to Sullivan's. When we arrived we found our table was in the entrance hall way in front of the Bar Door and the Hostess table. I asked for a different table and was told they could not give me one. I looked around the restaurant and there were plenty of open table the same size as they were seating us at. It was very load and cold from the door opening and closing and people leaning and standing around our table waiting to be seated. Several other couple were going to be seated at the 2 other tables in the hall way but complained that they didn't want to sit there and were seated in the main dinning area. The food was Very Good and the service was Great except for the hostess. I know one thing for sure that if I ever go back to Sullivan's and I reserve a table on line I will make sure I get a table that is the dinning area.

We celebrated our 35th anniversary on a Monday evening and the experience was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was attentive without being over the top. This is a wonderful restaurant to celebrate that special event or just enjoy a pleasant dinner/

Celebrated a friends birthday with dinner and the food was fantastic! Perfectly cooked, perfect temperatures, and we had a variety of dishes on our table. From seared scallops, calamari, and the duck fries as an appetizer, to the lobster bisque and salads, to our entrees of seared tuna, ribeye, tenderloin & tenderloin medallions, and the risotto of the day with added protein. Absolutely delicious & only two of us had leftovers. Definitely did not leave room for dessert but it was extremely tempting seeing the dessert case by the kitchen. Wines were also great, however they seemed to be out of a majority of them on their wine list lot and we would find out after we tried ordering the bottles. That would be the only negative thing I could say about our evening & about Sullivan’s. Seemed like the servers & whoever is in charge of getting the bottles of wine had a lack of communication. The ambiance was lively but not overpoweringly loud, and it was warm and inviting. For sure look forward to the next time!

Attentive service and all 4 seafood entrees we ordered were excellent!

Our server was a little distracted at times. He left our table in the middle of us discussing desserts and didn’t return for like 10 minutes. Otherwise everything was as expected and the good is always fantastic.

We dine out often at Sullivan’s. Great restaurant for lunch or dinner. Wait Staff always courteous.

The food was delicious! Huge portions, fresh selections and cooked perfectly. It was a great dinner for family or date night. It is a definite must eat while in Anderson.

The food was excellent as always, and the waitress was trying hard. She did put our bread basket and oil and vinegar down on an occupied adjoining table for some reason even though half our table was empty. It’s a little unnerving during a pandemic, but still would have been an odd choice even in normal times. Outside of that, the food was great and we got good service.

It was our first time at Sullivan's Metropolitan Grill and it was amazing. One of the best restaurants that we have ever been too. The food was outstanding and the service was unbelievable. Our server knew the menu and had great suggestions. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Anderson, SC area.

The wait staff is always accommodating and friendly. The food is always cooked to perfection. And the best martinis in town!
