Service was really good.....I always end up ordering the same thing(ribeye steak with Oscar style) however, the Oscar style on my steak was a little cold....other than that, I would go back!
It was during restaurant week, but with the city limitations, the restaurant was not nearly filled to capacity. Our server, Jack, was great and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. However, 2 of 3 of our steaks were over cooked. I ordered medium and my sister ordered medium-well, but both were served well done and all 3 of us were served cool/cold mashed potatoes.
Food was great, as always. We went during restaurant week and they had a great special. Wish they would have offered a choice between soup/salad or extra vegetable. Great experience though. This is our second time going during restaurant week. I had shrimp and lobster chowder (a bit spicy), 10 oz NY strip, potatoes and cheese cake that we brought home. A lot of food. Delicious!!
Everyone's food at my table was very salty. Service was slow and not friendly. I wish we were given the option to order from the main menu instead of the special menu being that it was restaurant week.
My boyfriend and I went for a romantic dinner. The food was amazing! However there were two tables one 8 and one 4 top that was never cleared. The 4 top had no customers sitting there from the time we sat down till we left. The 8 top left when we were arriving. For the price of the meal I would expect the tables to cleaned off in a timely manner. Just very disappointed in the overall ambiance
Poor service all the way around... and it was a special evening for us as we we’re celebrating my son’s bday.
Slow... very slow service and very disorganized... not so friendly waiter.
I asked for wine list and with the mask, I did not understand what he said, apparently he said libations and corrected me as if I did not know what it meant. “That’s what I said...libations”! Very condescendingly done. Bread came out after the salads were finished.
Ordered tea but came after several reminders and when the biz of tea were presented, it was empty.
Good quality was not at the level we were used to. Could it be that it’s because it’s restaurant week and the prices were more enticing and the profit margin was poor?
I actually had to apologize to my son’s girlfriend as she drove from a far to spend that special evening with us but we were all disappointed.
Lastly, our waiter was paying more attention to another table who I just happened to witness with my own eyes getting slipped some cash. I mean what do you say when you see that... nothing! I thought tips were left in the check booklet and not done underhandedly.

My friends and I had an excellent experience dining for my friend’s birthday. The food was excellent and our server Justin was amazing. I would absolutely go back.
It didn’t live up to the hype I heard about the restaurant.
Lasts nights visit was definitely not good at Sullivan's. First, we made a reservation for 8:15 and specifically asked to sit at a high top table near the bar.
The host seemed very overwhelmed and there were at least 20 people waiting who had 8 pm reservations in the small waiting area. People were not 6 feet apart and with covid it was not safe.
He said that there are no tables near the bar and it would be 30 - 40 minutes. What's the point of making a reservation to then arrive on time and have to wait another 40 minutes?!
People were getting very upset in the waiting area so I walked over to the bar and asked the bartender if any of these tables were available. A man heard me who I was informed was the general manager and I explained to him we had a reservation for the bar area and he said of course no problem with u sitting there and allowed us to have a table however most of the high top tables were dirty and has not been cleaned.
There was only one bartender for the entire restaurant so she said we would have to wait for a little while and the food was average to say the least. We waited 15 minutes just for a drink and longer for only appetizers (we didn't order a full meal just drinks and apps).
It's very clear that they need more waitstaff and they need manage their reservations better. I was very disappointed with last nights service and food and hope someone sees and responds to this message.
I had a reservation for 7:30 and was not seated until almost 8pm. There was no host to greet us as we stood in the doorway w/several guest waiting to be seated :-(
I love this restaurant food is second to none and service is great... Respectfully I believe Sullivan’s is top 3 out of all restaurants in the tri state area!

We were a table of 6, celebrating a birthday. Multiple issues. Waited very long for drinks from bar. Steaks were over cooked and lobster tail and stuffed shrimp were cold. Lobster bisque soup was spicy and terrible, also cold. Never again. They did reduce our final bill to compensate but it wasn’t worth it. We could have went to Outback and had a better meal. Never ever again.

The entree chicken Caesar salad was 3 leafs of lettuce with cold chicken cubes on it. The entree chicken dish was rather small for the $33 price. The blueberry lemonade martini was so bitter, I coughed on my first sip. Our server was great. Sullivan’s has changed over the years, and not for the best. Will probably not return.
There were a lot of people waiting in the foyer for tables and take out. Our server was also working a private dining room. He forgot our appetizer, didn’t give us our sides or steak knives. Because our food was getting cold, we had to flag down another server to give us knives and sides. Not worth the money.
Must admit that my steak, medium, came out cold compared to my dining mates. So I was very disappointed. The brussels sprouts were delish and warm but not hot. We frequently go their so hoping it was just this one night
We had a 5:45 reservation and were told we would have to wait at least 20-30min for a table. We were told we were not allowed to get a drink at the bar inl. When we finally were seated if took 45 minutes for the food to be served
Great steaks 🥩 & sides. Superb service by Jack, a solid young man!
To start off they were out of the wine we ordered! Then was informed they were out of 2 different bone in steaks! Asked for a side of au jous,or a gravy of sorts never got it! But Bread was delicious!
For upscale steak house, Several things seemed off my normal experience here. Food was good but temperature wasn’t great plus service was lacking. Expect more for the prices. Need to step up game.
first let me say the food was good, but at this price point I believe Flemings or Capital Grille are much better. My wife had the ribeye and I had the wagyu ny strip and the quality just wasn't there. Brussel sprouts great, mac and cheese good. Service was subpar.
Food was excellent. Service was a little slow but we weren’t in a hurry. Social distancing was well done.
Not what I expected in overall quality and service. Maître-d' was unorganized and had a difficult time finding my Open Table reservation. Didn't have any Sure Thing Wine selections and the wine that I selected was unavailable and the "comparable" wine was almost 2x the price. The server said he was new and spilled wine on the table during the initial pour.
The host stand was overwhelmed by either an inability to turn over needed tables or a glitch in the reservation model. Though the service was very good once we were seated, the food preparation was a bit less than our prior visits. We will likely delay our next visit.

We had a great server, Sarah. My steak and my husbands was delicious and cooked perfectly per our request. The broccoli was not cooked (steamed) enough; mashed potatoes were good. The ambiance was ok.
Cocktails and wine were great. Our server even brought out the bottle of wine that I had, which was so good. I will definitely look for it in our local wine store.
The food is always amazing and fresh and don’t forget to try their signature martini it’s delicious
Great staff and great food in a nice atmosphere. My wife and I had a great night and we'll definitely be back soon.
We ordered a specific drink, was told you were out of a key ingredient. We ordered a specific for two people at the table (1 each), was told you ran out of it for the evening. We were waiting on our main courses when we realized other tables were getting bread. We had to ask for it. As the payout, your only saving grace was my filet mignon. The chef did an excellent job on that. Otherwise, our dishes were mixed up. My wife's plate had my daughter's steak and vice versa even though the plates were readily identifiable by the completely different side dishes accompanying them. Given the level of restaurant you are supposed to be, I feel this is totally a management issue. Failure to ensure adequate supplies (our reservation was for 6 pm, hardly after the dinner rush as you opened at 4 for dinner), failure to ensure orders were priory plated, failure to ensure your wait staff knew what they were to supposed to offer us, etc.
Food and customer service were excellent
After being totally disrespected ,asked to leave Morton’s because I had a jacket on that represented black history month you should have seen the look on the guy’s face we made a reservation at Sullivan’s food and service was excellent will never go back to Morton’s again
