Sullivan's Steakhouse - Wilmington
Sun-Dried Tomato Hollandaise
Wild Steakhouse Mushrooms
Came here for our eighth anniversary dinner. Have come here for the last 4-5 years for this. While we understood the setup would be different because of CDC regulations, we felt that the overall quality of everything was just off. Food and service, which are normally 4s and 5s, were solid 3s. For $275, it was not close to the experience that it normally is. Frankly, it was disappointing. However, times are tough right now, and given the good track record, we will visit again next year. Hopefully, COVID will diminish and normalcy will return!
Service was good. Food was ok wouldn't mind going back
It was great nice calm & very chill perfect
overpriced, crab cakes were overdone.drinks were good, overrated had better.
"The Guys" are happy to dine at one of our favorite restaurants again, the staff as always is great, and we enjoyed the food more than ever. The menu is a little limited at this time, but it is at all restaurants during this period. We Love it and are happy to dine at Sullivan's in Wilmington, De again.
Respect of social distancing, great service by Olivia. Delicious dinner as is their norm, delicious dessert!
Reduced menu as they are recently reopening for dine in service. I was fine with this under the circumstances, but then they were out of many things on the already limited menu. All of our food was way over salted and just ok. I used to be fine paying a bit more here because of the premium quality of the food, but my last two visits (February 2020 and June 2020) were disappointing. On a positive note, the service was much better this time than what I experienced on my prior visit. Bottom line for me, the quality of food and overall experience are no longer worth the price of admission.
Sorry we were very disappointed seem like everything we ask for they were out of also are steaks was over cooked are Mac & cheese was not hot warm at best same with are potatoes we ask for salt & pepper it took 5 minutes to get it we really had a horrible experience no manger ever came over I’m not really sure what was going on with them very disappointed
It was ok. Good points. Got to eat inside. Got to finally go out and eat. Service was good. Not so good. Food was ok. Sauces were limited or cold. Butter for crab broke. Food was good but just not up to standards of Sullivan’s.
We had a great dinner at Sullivan’s. We both had the filet, and they were both perfectly seasoned and cooked to the correct temperature. I highly recommend the shrimp & lobster bisque, and the Mac & cheese was insanely good. We felt very safe dining there as it was clear that the staff were carefully sanitizing tables and chairs, wearing masks, and abiding by CDC guidelines during COVID. The service was great. Looking forward to dining there again.
This was our first time dining out in over three months and it was great. The food was very good, not spectacular but very good. Drinks were very good. Place was very clean and tables were spaced far apart. Waiters wore masks and gloves and it was a little strange, but this is the new normal. Prices are little high for the quality, but it still was worth it. Will definitely go back.
First dinner out since the Covid-19 pandemic. The food and service was excellent.
Food, service, atmosphere was all fantastic. Five stars!
Our family was so grateful to be able to dine at Sullivan’s. Everyone was so nice and the service was impeccable. Food outstanding! Masks on the way in and out - safety is a high priority in this establishment. So happy to finally be out again!!
Excellent food service was great will be back
Excellent birthday dinner!
Our food was delicious. Everything was prepared perfect. We had shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad and salad wedge, I had filet mignon and my husband had mahi mahi and the dessert was to die for. It was the chocolate bomb
Our waiter Blythe was excellent.
We would definitely go back
We came here for brunch today in between during two appointments. It was our first time having brunch at Sullivan's. We really enjoyed it! Our waiter, Sean, was friendly and very funny! For drinks, Dad and I had water, and Mom had regular coffee with sugar and whole milk. For appetizers, we had bread and butter, and Mom and Dad ordered the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. They loved them! They had fillet mignon, cheese, onions, and peppers, a sweet and spicy chili sauce, and a honey mustard sauce. For the main course, Mom ordered the Napa Valley Chicken Salad Sandwich, which she enjoyed. It had chicken salad, roasted hazelnuts, grapes, and was served on toasted challah bread, and was served with a mixed greens salad and fries. Dad ordered the Challah and Hazelnut French Toast. It was served with toasted hazelnuts, crispy bacon, powdered sugar, and hot maple syrup. It was yummy! I ordered the Gruyère Eggs With Asparagus, which were delicious! They were eggs with gruyère cheese, and they were served alongside fingerling potatoes, fresh spinach, asparagus, and sun-dried tomatoes. I would definitely get it again! For dessert, I ordered the Vanilla Creme Brulee, which was a rich custard with a crisp caramelized sugar glaze on top, served with fresh berries and whipped cream. It was yummy, as always! We will definitely be back for brunch again soon! Thanks Sullivan's!
The only area for improvement is in the temperature of the food when served. The flavor was delicious. But by the time the food was served it was lukewarm at best and the scrambled eggs looked as if they had been sitting waiting. They only had one waiter on duty while we were there so not sure if that was a factor. Could have been off the charts but missed the mark on that piece.
Good food great service.
I don’t know what I love more...the seafood tower (bowl) and its Louie dipping sauce or Bryan our waiter. He is on his game every time.
Fantastic tasting and perfectly cooked steaks! Our entire party was pleased and happy with dinner. Service is exceptionally attentive and prompt. The atmosphere is relaxing. I highly recommend Sullivan’s and will return.
Great food and service. We had a great time and our waitress was exceptional
Best steak in town!! Great service! Will be back! Good wine selection by the glass and bottle!
Corey the waiter was exceptional. He was very attentive and pleasant. The food was delicious. Corey made sure I was able to enjoy my meal while trying to keep the calorie content on the lower side by requesting that the chef not add butter and oils that were not necessary. I have asked in other restaurants and the waiter says he will make sure but the food always comes out loaded with butter or oil.
It was our anniversary. Our table had rose petals and a card. Our server took our picture. It was very nice!
Food was great but service was slow and a little inattentive.I expected some delay as we were a large party but a coworker for example asked a refill on water four times (to various servers) except it did not arrive. During the wait time, the table was being cleared, desserts were ordered and delivered.
