Summitview Pavilion

What a great idea. The view was amazing. The service was special and the food was terrific. It was a cold evening and the heater near us was out of propane, but otherwise the experience was all around first class. Would definitely go back next year.

Despite the 10C temperature, we loved our experience dining al fresco in the Summitt View. Our waitress was fun and funny, actually everyone from the guest services & gondola staff to the staff in the restaurant were as friendly and helpful as one could ever hope for! and the food & wine were delicious!

Great view and ambience. Should be a year round venue.

This outing was very special, with outstanding service from Dana and incredible views. Blue Mountain has to figure out a way to make this a year round establishment as I don’t think I can wait until next year to experience this again.

Great view,food,service,music. They need to stay open when the snow flies though. Mistake to close this tent/bandshell in Winter, add Heat lamps and zip sides to tent.

Awesome view. Excellent meat and cheese platter. Excellent service. Could do better with heaters and better quality seating.

Our experience at the Summitview Pavilion was nothing short of excellent. The meal was very good. The maple squash soup in particular was amazing. The best soup we had ever tasted! The service was top notch. The young guy waiting on us was very good at his job. We would definitely do this again. Kudos to the entire staff of Summitview!

Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, but it is a lovely location and the food was very good.

Given the unusual Covid circumstances, the pop-up was excellent - I will be back to the restaurant when the social distancing relaxes. The other diner in my party is going back tonight with two more friends.

Great place to enjoy dinner outside with a view, even in fall cooler weather. Friendly and helpful service. We will be back.

A beautiful experience at the Summitview Pavilion on top of Blue Mtn...food is delicious as well as the staff and the view is something to not mis..

The service was great and the food was delicious! By far the best quinoa roasted squash salad I’ve ever had, with top quality balsamic vinegar and fresh greens. Perfectly cooked salmon and chicken. Presentation was great and you can’t beat the lovely view. Comfortable outdoor seating with cloth napkins makes for an upscale casual dining experience.

An excellent afternoon outing with a spectacular view. Some excellent choices on the limited menu. A pop up restaurant at the top the hill - what a cool idea. The Gondola ride up and down tops off a great day. The fall colours will only get better in the next few weeks.

beautiful view but the food was not the greatest for the price. I would expect that it was cooked somewhere else and reheated (but not too well) at the site. Ribs were meaty but cold and not fall off the bone; corn on the cob - cold. Soup in a bowl contained very little soup and lots of bread (the bowl).

One of our favourite restaurants now! The view is second to none, makes you feel like you are on vacation.
Food and drink are reasonably priced and the staff is always very friendly.
Recommend reservations.
Really nice hiking before or after, easy or more difficult. Or arrive right on the door with the gondola!

It's quite good - the service is friendly and attentive. The rose wine they have is undrinkable but our server, Grant, was willing to take it back and give me a cocktail instead. The charcuterie board was ok - could have been a better selection of cheeses. Overall a 4 - they will need heaters though to keep rolling and I hope they do stay open through Oct at least, and I also feel they could put two more sets of two Muskoka chairs in the lower area and still be safe. These are extremely popular. They followed all health and safety protocols and we felt very comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!!! The drive up the mountain was so beautiful and upon arriving the view was spectacular. We were promptly greeted by a friendly hostess and once seated our waitress promptly welcomed us and explained the menu and was able to answer any of our questions. Delightful afternoon.

The background of the beautiful trees and their changing colours made our dining experience exceptional. The service was very good and food was delicious. Highly recommend this dining experience.

We absolutely loved having lunch at Summit View! It was fabulous! The view, the food, and the service was outstanding. Wish I had have discovered this sooner as I would be back many times. I'm still going to try and dine there yet one more time before they close this fall xo

We had a world class experience at the top of Blue in their new Summit dining experience. Felt very covid safe - staff was excellent - food was well presented and delicious - loved the bread bowl soups. The view - you could be anywhere in the world - and it is our backyard!!!!

Very neat spot, spectacular view, good food, but it was cold day and there weren’t any good heaters!

My brother was in town from Vancouver and we haven’t seen him for a year...special night out in our area.

The entire experience was so worth the trip to Collingwood. The ride up the gondola was fun, the restaurant was set up for physical distancing with clear Covid guidelines. The menu was limited but the food was well done for taste & presentation. The view was spectacular. The wait staff were pleasant and efficient.

The most spectacular view in Ontario for dining. Service was great. Friendly, informative, checked in with us a few times while we were dining. The menu isn't extensive but each dish is divine. Go with the burger! the value of the meal is incredible when looking at the location, view, quality and quantity of food and very nice service.

Great spot to dine and have a fabulous view of Georgian Bay - best to phone for directions as the website and google offer different addresses.
Food was delicious and service was very attentive. A little cool the day we went but during summer it would be amazing.

Approaching from the top there needs to be signs to show you where to turn and park. Then indecate which direction to walk to the restaurant from the parking garage lot.

What a great location, and great idea! The food was incredible, and the service was top notch. The views from the restaurant were breathtaking. It's completely outdoors, but sheltered, so you have to dress for the weather. Located right next to the gondola so there is some noise from that and the crowds lining up for it, but that didn't bother us at all. I hope they consider staying open for the winter and accommodate with some propane heaters and comfort food / hot beverages for the skiers and snowshoers 😊

We loved our charcuterie starter and our meal. Delicious! Our red wine was really good ! Staff Dana was so kind and sweet ! We will reserve here again ! Beautiful view !! Perfect date night. !

Great staff! First time at blue and even though it was a little gloomy, the staff was welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. And the food was delicious! We’re actually going to be requesting for late check out just so we can grab a bite before we hit the road. Thank you Summitview Pavilion! We’ll be back, with friends and family!

Amazing! We made our reservation for 3:30 but had to change it at 30 min before and they were very accepting and had no issues! We showed up and they asked us if we wanted to wait for a better seat near the front with a better view and we did and we don’t regret it! The food is outstanding, a little expensive but that’s what you would expect from this style of restaurant. (Fancy but casual) Excellent host and waiter as well. We visited for a birthday and were delighted to be offered a free dessert of our choice which tasted like heaven! Bottom line would highly recommend on a warm day!
Was a little windy at the top which made it chilly so bring a sweater!

This is an open air tent on a gravel surface with a makeshift kitchen at the top of Blue Mountain. Needless to say it has a small menu. But the view was awesome. The food was so so. The burger had a fried egg in it! But the charcuterie board was good. There was a birthday in our group and our hostess just said, Happy Birthday- no other acknowledgement.
Biggest issue: there was no parking spots available in the lot, so we parked on the road. There was no sign saying we couldn’t, but when we left we got a parking ticket!! We had a reservation and we got a ticket! What choice did we have coming an hour and forty five minutes to get to this restaurant? In the future, I would suggest designated parking for restaurant guests and a clearly marked sign directing us to your establishment.

Dana did a wonderful job of serving our group. The food was outstanding and the view spectacular.

The chacouterie platter was outstanding.

The hummus and pita bread were excellent as well.

Good choice of wine and beer selections.

The view took our breath away.
