    Best service we've had in Bali to date. Not the cheapest, but definitely value for money. Every person was so accommodating and the service was great. Particularly given we had 2 young kids with us. We'll be back.

    Wir sind auf Empfehlung unserer Kinder ins Sundara gegangen. Sie haben nicht zu viel versprochen , es war ein rund um gelungener Abend . Sehr schönes Ambiente , super Essen , toller Service . Etwas hochpreisiger aber auch etwas besonderes . Wir waren begeistert und können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen sicher wieder .

    Very good experience overall though could do with better fans/cooling as I was sweating in my seat. Also, the alcoholic drinks are really overpriced ie $25+ AUD for basic cocktails and $12 for Bintang. Bottles of wine start at $160 AUD. Same bottles would start at $70 AUD at fancy restaurant in Sydney.

    Das Essen und der Service war super! Das Essen leicht asiatischscharfes Barbecue war wirklich hervorragend, dazu gab es leckere Cocktails und besten Service. Selbst unser kleiner Sohn (2 Jahre) wurde bespaßt und fleißig umgarnt.

    Everything was a good experience, from the moment you walk to the reception, guided to your table and serviced by a friendly and funny waiter. The food was ‘A’mazing! The waiter was able to accomodate for my parents who are allergic to garlic and onion, the chef did a brilliant job on making substitutions. The ambience was chilled, good vibes with love music, couldn’t have asked for a better night at Sundara, will definitely be going back again when in Bali. (wished I stayed here for the night)

    I had booked this restaurant more than a month in advance for my wife’s birthday trip and “babymoon”. When we arrived, the restaurant seated my family (including a toddler) beside the kitchen with a very hot heating lamp (for keeping cooked food warm) and refused to switch us to any one of the 3 other available tables, claiming that the tables were reserved and the guests were already at the lounge. I went to the lounge to see who these guests were - there were a few middle aged caucasians and a family but definitely there were not 3 tables full of guests there. The restaurant suggested we eat in the lounge (low table, dark and lounge music) - is this suitable for a toddler? This is the service of this supposedly highly rated restaurant. I was prepared to spend without limits here but we left without eating - completely put off by the questionable service. Maybe the food is good here, but be prepared to be treated like it’s a privilege to be in their fancy restaurant.

    All good, food was not as good as the past and very plain especially for the fare being charged - the Bar B Q platter was like a local Waring not Sundara standard at all. The Oysters were old and not firm and taste very average compared to other restaurants' close by I recently visited - quality to price - NO! Wine selection was great, and the cocktails excellent. I rate about for the restaurant maybe 2.5 out of 10.. I will come back as I like the place. I am a 10-year resident of Bali and have been to visit you all on numerous occasions, I will actually have second thoughts especially as there are so many alternatives in Jimbaran and the Buket.. Just an honest option... great place, this time a disappointment!

    We very much enjoyed the great atmosphere at this place. View was excellent but unfortunately the weather was not that nice. We also enjoyed the food which was of excellent quality. Also beverages we enjoyed were excellent. Maybe one little point: red wine was to warm.

    Fantastic restaurant in a great setting with beautiful views of Jimbaran bay. We had thinly sliced wagu beef to start with then sucking pig for mains finished off by desert. Can’t recommend this place highly enough the ambiance & service is 2nd to none.

    Beautiful service and ambiance but a little rushed and as we asked to slow down a bit our food was still prepared and arrived cool, so had to send back. It came back renewed and excellent. Otherwise exemplary. Will go again 100%.

    High expectations perhaps let this restaurant down. Drinks at the bar were superb but the restaurant experience (food) was poor. We ordered a number of wood grilled bbq dishes. We were still choosing our wine when within literally 5 minutes all of the food was delivered to our table - both meat dishes (beef and pork) were very fatty, the grilled prawns were small and a bit dry! Out first 2 wine choices (bottle) were not available so we were half way through our food when the waiter found a wine which was actually available and as result we decided to just have a glass each. Having reheated fast food especially at the Four Seasons was a big let down! We stayed at the Belmond PURI where the food (similar options) especially at dinner was superb and freshly cooked. Cuca next door was also very good.

    was looking forward to going to Sundara as it was our last night in Bali. The venue did not disappoint. Set right next to Jimbaran Bay, we managed to catch the last of its famous beach sunset. For the quality and brand name, the food prices was not exorbitant. Only drawback was the staff seem less well trained as compared to other fine dining places in Bali that we had tried. They keep forgetting things .
