Akizuki Sushi Restaurant, in Tokyo's Shibuya neighborhood, serves fresh and modern sushi creations in its warm and relaxing eatery. The pickled seaweed salad and the tenderized tako octopus with soy sauce and a dash of spicy mustard make excellent appetizer choices. Most diners enjoy Akizuki Sushi Restaurant's chef's omakase menu, which changes daily, but generally features sushi items such as marinated hirame flounder, mackerel with ginger, scallion and mint, toro fatty tuna, ebi prawn and marinated squid ika with Japanese mustard and yuzu.

Be sure to enjoy the atmosphere and Japanese cuisine with a selection of Japanese sake.

渋谷。神泉の駅から近い。凛とした白木のカウンターと、素敵な器が並んでいる。予算や内容は事前に相談にのって頂ける。基本的にお任せで、料理が15000円くらいから。合計で大体の予算を伝えておいたので安心して食事ができた。料理を頂いて握りへ。シャリは赤酢で、主張しすぎず非常にバランスが良い。炊き加減も硬すぎず柔らかすぎずちょうど良い。ニギリは小ぶりで上品な感じ。漬けなどの醤油の香りが香ばしくて非常に美味しい。合間に漬物が出てくるが漬物まで美味しい。卵も生カステラのような感じで美味しい。ドリンクは日本酒やワインなど、いろいろと面白いものがあって楽しい。サービスからなにから全て素晴らしい。最初は緊張感があったが殺伐とした感じではなく、料理に集中されている感じで良い感じ。英語対応可能なようで海外の方々に紹介できる。

Had a wonderful Omiakase sushi meal at Sushi Akizuki. Chef-owner Hideki Hata was friendly and spoke English well enough to tell us about each course. The fish selection was great and everyone was nicely presented.

Food and service was absolutely amazing. Our party consisted of three adults and two children and we all agreed that this goes into the top 5 dining experiences of all time. The sake and sushi just kept getting better and better as the Omasake progressed.

The environment was quite nice and quiet but only 1 chef and 1 assistant to serve 10 customers at the same time, food was slow and taste just so so. Price reasonable but no reason to visit again.

We do a lot of omakase in the US and it just feels as through the chef was carful and delicate the meal itself lacked that certain art. It just seemed like he was going through the fish he had left over from the holidays and cutting portions based on that. Maybe because it’s a slower restaurant which was a nice change from the long waits in Japan he just had less on hand and had to portion out accordingly. It was good, and I understand the value from a cost perspective, I just think there are better omakase experiences both in Japan and America.

Wonderful experience!!! The chef was amazing, very knowledgeable and kind. He went out of his way to explain the different kinds of fish and showed us pictures of them. The nigiri and sashimi was the best we have ever had. Two of the kinds we had where flounder and sardines which we have never tried in sushi form. The flavours are nothing like canada, such clean and fresh flavours. We would definitely go back. Thank you.

They offered low price seafood but charged at super high price. Felt being cheated. Had to go to another restaurant to fill the stomach afterwards.

Awesome sushi. One of the best I've had, especially for the price ($150 / 15K JPY course). Chefs catered to allergy/taste preferences before the meal and built the course to make sure my date enjoyed her meal. Great time.

We ate here on Thursday night and then cancelled our reservation at Nobu to eat here agin on Saturday night! It was one of our most amazing food experiences ever from start to finish. Every bite was delicious. Chef Hideki will be getting a Michelin star any day now! He is an amazing chef and host.

We had one night in Tokyo and we were looking for a nice spot for omakase. My girlfriend found this restaurant online and liked the vibe of the reviews she read. We really enjoyed our dinner here! Great mellow, authentic vibe that was welcoming to both foodies and locals from the neighborhood. The 2.5 hour dinner seemed to fly by. The pace of the omakase was great, and the food was all wonderful. Would definitely go back, and recommend!

Haka San speaks English and serves you a great counter omakase meal explainung each of the 16 course. Fresh and tasty in Edo style sushi. Good value too for shibuya. Comparable to many top ones in Gonzalez.

We did the omakase with the Chef and owner Haka aka Joe aka Jose who has spent some time in America so his english was very good. The sushi was delicious and just kept coming. Felt like we stumbled on a hidden local gem.

What a great local spot for sushi omakase! The ingredients were fresh and deliciously prepared, all at a very reasonable price for the amount of courses you get. The chef was very friendly and spoke English as well which is always a bonus for foreigners. I definitely recommend this place for people who want the omakase experience but don't necessarily want to drop ¥20,000.
