Our Signature $60 12-piece Omakase is served in a 12-seat counter inside of Claridge House (1244 N Dearborn Pkwy, Chicago, IL 60610). Please text 312-818-1156 to book the Bougie Package, a 17-course $100/per person 60-minute Omakase seating!

Sushi by Bou Gold Coast’s 24-hour Cancellation Policy: A 50% per person fee will apply to cancellations and no-shows for reservations made within 24 hours of reservation time. No same-day rescheduling. My boyfriend and I did the Hotsy Totsy Omakase which was so delicious. The quality of food for the price we paid was excellent. Our chef explained everything and was very kind to answer any questions. I loved the Bou of Chi and how you can order more food at the end of the experience if you’re still hungry or want to taste something again.

Fish selection was wonderful. It did feel a bit pricey if you order more than the omasake. Since it is a slow experience, a drink is necessary and that can make the experience fairly expensive. We felt a little hungry after the omasake and ordered an a la carte which was tasty but again, pricey. Overall, very cool experience bur not something we will repeat again due to price.

If I could give more stars I would - I am blown away by the quality and price point every time I come here! Chelsea and Chef Tarn always provide the most attentive and friendly service and I love my bringing friends to experience omakase.

Hands down best sushi I’ve had in the city. Omakase was amazing. Next time I’m doing 17 piece experience. Group we had was amazing, everyone was celebrating a bday. This was my wife’s 1st bday since we got married and it was the best night of her life.

My evening was unbelievable. I don’t think I can ever eat sushi anywhere else again. Every bite delectable I can’t say enough about my evening Shear perfection I can’t wait to go back.

Jane, our omakase chef, was awesome! He was a great time and made my birthday dinner so fun! We got a complimentary bottle of sake with their promotional code when booking. It was a great value for what we had and the perfect amount of food. The hostess was also fantastic and made sure we were well-taken care of. I have absolutely no complaints and would definitely come back!

First time trying Omakase and it was a very fun experience and some of the best sushi we’ve ever had, I was a little nervous walking into the restaurant through a hotel but, once inside the place it’s very nice yet small since it’s only omakase, but a great experience and a perfect date night spot.

Our chef was awesome in explaining everything. The host at the curtain was charming, funny knowledgeable. The bartender was fantastic. We had the house Saki and the Sake Martinis. Toooo many 🍸. It was a great time.

Always a good time. Had to wait a bit after scheduled reservation time, and had to ask to order a drink while waiting in the Lounge. However, hostesses we’re gracious and accommodating once we got their attention.

The sushi was really good but we were expecting larger portions. We ended up ordering the additional Big Mac special item each because the main omakase menu was not enough. Good quality sushi but if they had just made portions slightly bigger it would’ve been 5 stars.

I got the $60 omakase experience and it was to die for! It was my first time trying omakase, so I didn’t know entirely what to expect. Out of all 12 courses (bites) I did not dislike any of them. You can really tell how high quality the fish and preparation is because every bite melts in your mouth. I don’t eat red meat, so our chef even swapped out my wagyu with something else so I wouldn’t have to miss that course! The only thing to make note of is it’s definitely a light dinner. I’m sure the 17 course option is more filling and there is the option to order a La carte (I did), but I wouldn’t come famished or you might not fill up by the end. Just something to keep in mind. I’ll be back for sure!

I had a wonderful omakase experience here celebrating my birthday. I love how intimate the experience was! The complaint I have is that we were not seated on time and there’s no option to order food while you wait to sit. Good to know if you have plans afterward

I was hoping for a bit more of an interactive or informative experience. The sushi was amazing, and the service was great, but they just quickly made each piece then handed it to us and told us what it was. No showmanship, no conversation, no education. Just, "here's a sushi" and move on to the next one. This would have been very satisfying if the price had been less.

Omakase was excellent! Chef Taran was spectacular and very personable. The value was great. We walked away happy with our date night. We were full and it didn't cost us an arm and a leg.
