Most unexpected dinner in all ways. The location, the food, staff and chief, drinks everything was high class perfect and profesional. Highly recomended would really come again!!

Incredible experience! John, Ollie, and Kim were the best. This is one of the most unique and most delicious experiences in NYC.

The food, the sushi chef, and the rest of the service was absolutely phenomenal. Each thing was a step above the last. The energy was fabulous, the way everyone had such hospitality and customer service was beyond expectation. The atmosphere blew us away more than the perfection of the food.

Terrible experience with manager in glasses John that continuously called himself the owner and said that I will not be allowed to his place(wow, great work, manager!).
I simply asked the question about my bill on Open table(I was confused why I was charged more than it was stated), and person, who has no ability to listen — accused me in a scam, simply because I asked a question related to my bill and didn’t have credit card to pay for additional drinks and was going to pay cash.
Such a drama over little thing. Ruined the whole experience, knowing that it was a birthday celebration.
Have had a great time here in the past. Not today. Will never come back. Do not recommend this place to anyone that has any self esteem. Very toxic unapologetic attitude. To me, people like that should not work with people.
Try omakase at Sushi Azabu, Kajitsu or Uchu for exceptional multi coarse tasting instead.

Sushi by bou was an EXPERIENCE for sure. It was super enjoyable and the food was exceptional. When I came in, I thought it was just going to be us two at the bar but we were asked to move over to make room for 2 others. There was a plastic barrier to divide us but too snug for my liking. I also think they should make a plastic barrier to cover the sushi chef and supplies. Sanitizer should be everywhere, and especially at Frontdesk downstairs which it was NOT.

Our Sushi chef was really nice. It was a very comfortable dining experience after all. Foods are great. You can tell they're all very fresh. The sake pairing was $50 per person with three different kinds of Sake. It was pretty nice as well!

Kim is an artist with his craft. Knowledgeable and picks up little things to personalize the flavor profile. Ali was also very attentive 10/10. I’ve had several omakase experiences and this dominates any experience. Best sushi experience I’ve ever had. Highly recommend, would go back and will be telling everyone about this experience because it was more than a meal, it was an experience.

Feel really at home at this place. The ambiance is fun, like a private party. Food is great, and the service is impeccable.

Amazing omakase experience on their outdoor terrace. It had been so long since I'd had a real omakase experience since Covid, and Sushi Suite 1001 really delivered what I'd been missing. Drinks and sake selection were good as well. Would highly recommend.

I researched extensively what would be the best birthday surprise for my fiancé who loves sushi while we were visiting New York City, and settled on Sushi Suite 1001 because of the great reviews and good value for such a unique experience. Being in such a unique space with just 2 other people alongside us, able to talk to Chef Kevin (who was GREAT) and watch so closely how he prepares every piece, not to mention the intimate outdoor bar patio beforehand, it was all great and I highly recommend this if you are looking for a great omakase experience

Sushi Suite 1001 was outstanding! I went to dinner here for my boyfriend's birthday as a surprise to him and the quality of the sushi, ambiance and the general level of service and hospitality really blew him away. Monica was the hostess and I cannot say enough about how amazing her service was. I can't believe we could have had this experience for only $100 a head. For anyone who has had high quality omakase in the city, this seriously is the best value. Dine here, take someone special.

This place is truly an amazing experience to go with a date or close group of friends that enjoy Omakase.

We had a fantastic time! The experience was quintessential New York, room key.. suite on the 10th floor, being ushered in and shown the digs including a beautiful Terrance which on a clear night would have a great view!!! The music was a bit too loud but the real disappointment was not having Chef Bou, as all the reviews indicated he was the lively chef/creator of the concept and we were looking forward to a more interactive dinner. That being said Chef Mike executed the meal perfectly but was a bit on the quiet side, many courses were big hits others fell a bit flat.. the mackerel was not a hit. The quality of the fish was stellar and the overall feel was so New York that it was definitely a great experience! If the menu rotated I would definitely be back!!!

Excellent and unique experience. Can’t say enough for our sushi chef Michael. He was a true master of his craft. Such attention to detail and presentation. Outstanding quality and flavor to all servings. Well worth the price of both sushi and sake. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience

Food was delicious! Exquisite experience! Went through all our photos and checked with the menu. We realized when we paid we didn’t get the full course, but they didn’t do anything for us. There was a piece missing!

Great ambience with only 4 seats at the sushi bar of an actual former hotel suite. Very intimate experience with the chef.

Absolutely beautiful. The staff was polite and engaging and the presentation and the food itself was absolutely wonderful.
