Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar – Susquehanna Valley
Brunch. Service was excellent. Food was delish. Overall great first time dining experience. We will definitely return
Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we did not feel rushed.
Our server was very nice and the food was great.
Great seasonal food, beautiful place! The waiter kept us in drinks and always came back to check on us even though the place was packed. Will go back in the Spring to see what’s next!
Excellent meal. Very impressive. The Tuna Tataki was superb. The braised beef short ribs were very juicy and tender and very tasty. My Manhattan with Bullet Rye was perfect. Finally my Cote du Rhone wine choice which was a combination of Grenache and Shiraz paired perfectly with my short ribs. The service was excellent. A great meal. Will defiintely return.
Awesome food and service. Definitely a return visit, but if you want dinner best to make a reservation!
Staff was very friendly and food was delicious. Look forward to the new menu.
Fresh delicious food with something for everyone. Highly recommend
Changing menu has tasty items.
Hard to make choices.
Very pleased with wait service.
Harvest is always a good place to eat. Love the variety of the menu. This dining experience was fine, have had better in the past. The restaurant was packed and very loud. We will return on a quieter night
Enjoyed my dinner and experience very much. Brian was an outstanding waiter. I'll definitely be back!
Food is amazing and I love that the menu changes. It keeps me coming back for more!
Service was subpar. My waitress took my silverware after I finished my appetizer. I had to go to the bar to get new silverware when my food arrived. The burger was just OK. I asked about dessert and she didn’t tell me what they had for dessert. She told me that she would bring a new tray. I understand that she wanted to bring a new tray. However, I wanted to know, which is why I asked her a question. Someone else refilled my water. I had to go to the bar to get salt & pepper. I come to Harvest every time I visit Harrisburg and this by far, was my worst visit.
I ordered the scallops dinner w/ risotto. Very good but highly salty. Mentioned to the waitress and she said she'd pass it on.
We had a very enjoyable meal! Service was great!
Food was good but mediocre for the price. Service was good except our bottle of wine came out halfway through our meal. Were seated in a nice quiet location away from the central area. It's about the sixth time I've eaten there. Will likely return again, but it's not a must have.
Awesome food and great service! Always fantastic!
Food was great. Service lacking.
Our booth was comfortable and cozy, and despite being next to a servers station, it was not a distraction. Service was prompt and efficient. Our waitress checked in just enough and timed the courses well: appetizers, main courses and dessert. Each arrived in its own time with just enough time between.
The food was excellent. Being vegetarians, we ordered plant protein based Thai "chicken" curry and impossible meatloaf. Both entrees were delicious and very attractively presented.
Our waitress recommended desserts, and we chose mousse style sweets from the dessert tray. Don't pass up the dessert--it was decadently rich and a nice finish for the meal. We will certainly return.
They had a little wait despite our reservations but they were super nice about it (it was Valentine’s Day wkd). The staff is courteous and the ambiance is nice. Food is great and seasonal menu/drinks are the best!
Food, atmosphere, and service was excellent! The prices were a little steep, and our wait was 20-30 minutes, even though we had a reservation, which kind of ruined the plans we had following dinner. I would definitely go back, as it was a very busy weekend, but if we had to wait like that again, I’d be hesitant to go back a third time.
Great service! Excellent management and staff. Food wasn’t that good. They’ve got some good concepts but steak was tasteless
Kyle and Alex did a great job hosting on an extremely busy night. It was the evening after Valentine's day and the restaurant was packed! They were so professional and nice to everyone. What a great team!!!
Arrived on time with reservation but told they were running about 15 minutes behind. Okay - busy night, it happens. They even gave us a glass of prosecco. We were seated and quickly greeted cordially by our waitress. Specials were presented. Orders were given and everything went quickly to that point. That's when it all slowed down. The cheese board that came with the recommendation that it "would be quick" took quite a while to arrive. Our wine took even longer. Guests that were seated well after we were got their entrees while the cheese board was just arriving. Not sure if our waitress was on break or what as she just wasn't around for a while. Once she reappeared everything was fine. We both opted for the filet. Mine was cooked to my medium rare liking. The sprouts au gratin was interesting but not my favorite. My wife ordered her filet medium but it came out well - gray actually. Her mixed veggies were fine. The space was extremely loud to the point of having to yell to communicate. Overall the meal was good. Just a few extras that made the experience uncomfortable. We live just down the street so I'm sure we'll be back. Nice touch giving my wife the flower for Valentine's Day.
I always enjoy coming to Harvest because the food is healthy and delicious and the experience is wonderful!
Past experience has been very good, but 2/15 reservation was very disappointing. Booth location, noise, sporadic attending by waitstaff, food quality were all unacceptable especially for the cost paid. It will be a long time before I consider coming back.
Food was good but a little expensive.
Awesome service from the second of arrival, great food, would recommend to anyone.
Always a pleasure eating there. Fabulous food and fabulous service. The host/ess was very friendly and welcoming. Devan (sorry if I am misspelling her name) was a joy to have as our waitress! Service was speedy, accurate, and quality!
The draft from the front door was freezing everyone around us, including my date.
In fairness my visit was on Valentine’s Day but I’ve tried to take that into account. Our reserved table was delayed about half an hour. There was room to sit at the bar and have a drink while we waited. We were given a table for two next to the kitchen entrance which was suitable but felt like we were in the way most of the night. Our waitress was fantastic. Although overwhelming busy she checked in often without being overbearing and took the appropriate amount of time to stop and chat without feeling as though she was interrupting. The drinks and butternut squash dip appetizer were excellent. My fillet mignon was charred on the outside and cooked a bit more than the medium I had ordered. The char gave the steak a odd flavor and the texture was really tough and seemed way overcooked. My dates meal and my sides were superb. The restaurant was very busy, overcrowded and way to loud to have a yelling conversation but we managed to enjoy ourselves. I will return to this restaurant and their other locations in the future as I feel the failures of the night were certainly related to Valentine’s Day and not the norm for Harvest. My date was happy and therefore I was satisfied.
the extra tables set up for valintines day I believe is a little much makes the place feel crowded and uncomfortable but other than that the overall of the place is great
Been here many times. I’m not sure what is happening with this restaurant and their ability to honor a reservation. 7:15 reservation sat at a table at 7:45. The main problem is the entrance was mobbed and no where to stand. They appear to be overbooking.
To their credit they apologized and handed us a $10 gift card
Loved the food, every course. The bartenders were excellent and friendly. Our server was nice, but seemed rushed and pressed to up-sell.
The only bad spot on the night was the enormous amount of people waiting in the small front door area. they were overflowing. It really was killing the ambiance… making it feel more like Olive Garden, and for that reason, I never go there.
I will say that the overwhelmed front desk staff did a nice job of keeping everyone moving, and they were all pleasant to the guests.
Our server, Megan, was terrific. We always enjoy her service! Great person makes the trip more enjoyable.
This was the second time I regrettably made a reservation on a holiday. I thought the first time was just a fluke and gave them the benefit of doubt. But apparently they make a habit of overbooking reservations on holidays.
Mother’s Day we wait 1:15 past our reservation and finally opted to eat at the bar! Valentine’s Day was over an hour past our reservation and the food and service after seating was just ok. We are officially done with Harvest!
Total chaos in the reception. Everyone was waiting at least 20 min beyond their reservation time and several groups just gave up and left. Either they wildly overbooked or totally miscalculated how long their earliest tables would take for dinner. On the other hand the food was good and the wait staff pleasant and efficient. On a quieter evening I am sure it would be fine but I will never reserve of Valentine's Day or any other holiday.
Harvest is always a great choice with their changing seasonal menus and local ingredients. Busy Valentine’s Day, but they got us in and seated on time and meals were hot and timely. Our server Christie Ann was prompt and enjoyable. Always at the top of our list for a meal out with friends.
Well worth the prices . The flavor profiles are amazing . Cant wait to go back after the new menu comes out .
