Not sure why this place has over four star reviews. Service is pretty decent nothing out of the ordinary. Ambiance is nice but was very hot inside the restaurant, felt like it was 79-80 degrees in there. The most disappointing part was the food. Felt like it was super over priced (I get it, inflation) but at least make it taste better if I’m paying $40 for tandoor plate. curry’s were bland, even had to add salt on top to make it taste like something, pretty bad experience. If I had to make one suggestion, they really just need to have the food taste better. Most people don’t mind paying high prices as long as the kitchen delivers, in this case it was underwhelming. Do not recommend, tabla chain in Orlando (three of them, all about below average). There are much better Indian restaurants with better food quality and taste.

We thought the food was very delicious, but it came out before we got our drinks which were just a bottle of beer and a glass of wine, either then that, we enjoyed it and would come back.

I had the INDO CHINESE BIRYANI. It was very good except that the chicken dumplings are not dumplings at all (per a Chinese dumpling), they are meatballs.

Disappointed w/ 2nd visit to Tabla. Very surprised that that it won Critics Choice in the Foodie Awards. The Tabla's mixed grill was unidentifiable - a mess. No full bar as website advertises. Wine/beer only. Really could not tell the Gobi manchurian appetizer was cauliflower. Would not order shrimp tandoori again. Chicken Tikka Masala was just meh! Everything overpriced.

Please let us know what was wrong with the mixed grill? We have a full bar in our Orlando location and now, at our Lake Nona location. We only beer and wine at our Winterpark location. Please let us know more about your experience as the information in the review is not sufficient. We do use Cauliflower for our gobi manchuria and let us know why you did not like the shrimp tandoori and Chicken Tikka Masala. Our prices are standard in the fine dining restaurant space. Please give us morefeedback

The host at the podium was curt when we asked to be seated outside. I had specified this in my reservation. The host insisted the tables were full but they were not. Thanks to our server who was handling the outside tables we were seated as requested. The host was also rude to another couple who requested outdoor seating and there were 2 tables available. I understand staffing can affect what tables are available but on a beautiful spring day you need to assign staff appropriately. We don’t get many days for outside dining.

This was maybe the worst restaurant I have ever been to? Flavors were off, wine tasted old, lights too bright, staff slamming heavy plates and silver to polish, and a weird playlist of slow sad country music that would start and stop. I mean even our naan was burnt and my goat was mostly bone with maybe 4oz of meat total in the dish. The staff was nice and their wine list is honestly pretty solid. But this was… rough. And i don’t think it was an off night. I think thats just how they do it.

Our occasion was two friends celebrating each other’s birthdays. We felt safe at one of the courtyard tables. We enjoyed the atmosphere there as well. We enjoyed excellent service and outstanding menu selections. The portions were generous and we would have boxed some to go had we not been on our way to a theater performance.

We've eaten here before and the Indian food is excellent. This time we tried the Thai and Chinese dishes. We didn't like them nearly as much as the Indian, but we'll be back.

They brought out our appetizers, naans and entrees all at the same time . . . just a ridiculous amount of food to simultaneously throw at us. We really should have sent the entrees back but didn’t out of fear that they would just bring out reheated food later on. It was really annoying. Btw, they add far too much food coloring to their tandoor dishes.

We're sorry about the inconvenience caused. We will definitely let the team know about the timing of bringing dishes out. Most likely, one of the stations got busy at one point and so they had to bring everything in one go. We will definitely look into the food coloring and keep this in mind. We're constantly trying to improve our service and food so our customers have the best experience. We hope you will dine in again soon.

Food did not taste good, we went there on a recommendation. Service was slow - server did not check on us for a long time. Busy location so I am guessing they don’t come to you. We sat on the outside seats so it was nice. Gobi munchurian had tough shell. Butter chicken didn’t have a good taste. Garlic naan was good.

Their appetizers and biryani is really good. I loved their speciality naan. The garlic naan could be better though. Drums of heaven and paneer tikka are so good!! Overall, love the food and the place. Highly recommend it.
