Excellent spot for dinner, lovely ambience and the staff are all so warm and friendly. Food is awesome, so fresh you have to wait a minute to eat it as its so piping hot! I have been several times and will be back for sure. Went with my partner by have been with girlfriends too, great place.

We LOVE Taperia! It's a gem in Thornton Heath. Everytime we've visited, we've had such a friendly welcome and the service is excellent. The food is amazing. It's authentic, generous and just delicious. We had the paella for the first time this visit and it's such good value for money. We ended up with a doggy bag so got to enjoy it again the next day. The tapas selection is huge and there's something on there for everyone. The lamb chops are amazing but our favourites are the dates in bacon and the croquettas.

I would recommend Taperia if you want a romantic dinner, a family visit or just a nice place for dinner mid-week. It's just brilliant and we will be returning soon.

Excellent service and food would definitely return. I'm from the Caribbean where we enjoy well-seasoned, nutritional, hearty food would recommend to my friends and family.

I wouldn't recommend because it's extremely overpriced. I paid almost 8 pounds for what I thought was a meal, but it was just 6 small shrimp in sauce. Also ordered 2 rolls of salmon with guacamole with nothing else.

Came here last minute with my wife at new years eve. Cracking little local restaurant, great food, service was excellent, really good prices. The food for us really stood out, it was delicious, we will definitely come back again as good local restaurants like this should be treasured

Always a good timer in here, either as a couple or as a party. Staff knowledgable and recognise regulars by name. Good food, good fun.

First visit here. I came with my sister, who is vegetarian. We both found a good choice of food and what we ordered was very good. I will certainly be visiting again.

It was a wonderful restaurant, the food was delicious and such good value. The service was brilliant, everyone was really friendly. It was very quiet as it’s quite new, it needs and deserves more people to visit! I’ll definitely be back!

There was a huge office party in the main restaurant, but the Maitre D found us a quiet corner. Great proper tapas, - very tasty; drinks a good price for south London. Staff attentive but not pushy. We chatted to the owner who was delightful. A great local restaurant.

Great how this restaurant has changed to Spanish, Needs more Spanish decor though to make it feel and look Spanish, As with music too, be nice to have Spanish music in the background too, Food was ok, no complaints, but did not eat much, Celebrated my daughters birthday there just 3 of us, and they pulled out a small cake for her and a cocktail and she was 15 yrs old as well. Staff very pleasant and courteous, Could do with a smoking room though to the rear as outside the door kept opening and closing, but i put up with it. Overall am happy. And my daughter had a good night with Brothers playing songs and guitars at the back, great fun will go again for sure sometime soon.*

Great place ..warm atmosphere and good food beer and wine. Manager is great and remembers people. Only drawback for me is the music is too loud and as there are no soft furnishings to dampen sound so if its busy its too noisy. But generally we love this place.

Went on a Wednesday night. Food was superb, service excellent, ambiance warm and friendly and not intrusive. We have already planned to return for another birthday and one night when they have live singer. That’ll be fun and festive.
