Taps & Tacos

We had an excellent time, service was great. And the food was excellent.

We ordered 1 small taco 2 6” taco. Only 3. We waited for 40 mins . Finished within 10. When we arrived the place still had few empty tables. 1st time visit. Not impressed. Won’t return.

This place is the best! A must go to in Port Moody!!!

Food was wonderful, tasty, and inventive. Lots of taste choices and the desserts were yum. Great view of everything going on from the second floor area.

Came for happy hour street tacos which were very enjoyable. Great experience would definitely come back for another happy hour.

The food snd service was excellent, although the temperature in the restaurant was comparable to a fridge. Would definitely go back.

Excellent place to eat.
The only small tiny thing it was a little cold inside. Turning up the heat a few degrees will take care of it.

Food was certainly above average, could have a warmer ambiance, service was very good. Would recommend for a casual meal.

Not a big menu but quality is good. Highly recommend the 3 salsa appetizer - with free chip refills! Great value. Service was great. The only comment I have is about the music, which is a bit too loud for me but overall, highly recommended!

Amazing service, delicious margaritas. It was the best Thanksgiving taco and margarita party of partially chosen, partially real family.

Casual place for dinner. Excellent food and service was friendly.

We have been to Taps and Tacos a few times now and the food is fantastic. I have a few food intolerance and they are always accommodated. The wait staff are always very attentive and make the experience that much better. We will definitely be back!

Love this place - great atmosphere, delicious food, the best margaritas and all very affordable. Walking distance to Brewers' Row too! Highly recommend.

Service was great. Food was so-so. Parking was difficult on the street as construction was going on. Food lacked spice with the exception of cilantro which was overdone. Cheese in my burrito was virtually nonexistent. Service was great.

Good interesting tacos but cold. Good margaritas. Music was loud, even for the 20somethings. Venting is an issue- our eyes were smarting & my clothes picked up the cooking smells. An ok experience, not stellar.

Given part of the name is Taps we thought there would be a wide selection of beers, possibly even flights. Instead we were offered overpriced cans of beer. Luckily it was $2.50 Tuesdays for the tacos so that was a good deal. We ordered to plates of tacos but it took so long to get the second one we weren’t hungry anymore. The tacos were okay but not the best, however at that price point we were satisfied. The salsa was a disappointment, as was the additional $4 charge if we wanted guacamole! Overall it was small, hot, and crowded. Not what we were expecting or hoping for...Would not go back but can see how it might be appealing for some locals.

The efficient and consistent service is great! Super friendly staff. Personal favourite: the carnitas. Good for kids :)

One of my favourite restaurants to go to. The service is amazing and the food is on another level. Whenever I go my water glass is never empty they constantly refill it and to me that shows good service and attention to detail.

Small place with great atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the food was wonderful. Place was packed for a Monday night which is a great sign.

Great food, but very loud.

It can definitely get a little bit boisy around peak hours, but that’s to be expected given that the place isnt very large (less than 10 tables, I think). Also there’s no parking, so be prepared to park on the street a little ways away and walk.
But the food. The FOOD. Amazing. And good value, although I wish the cocktails were a little less pricey. The desserts were spectacular. I’ll definitely eat here again.

A great evening. We arrived an hour early, and they were able to accomodate us. Very personable and informative server, she was fantastic!. The taco's were as always, delicious. I really love the Korean BBq taco.

I didn't even stay for the food. The restaurant, although appeared presentable, the size of the tables and the cramped area to eat and converse was a great turn off. The staff appeared very flustered and rushed and the music playing wasn't aesthetically pleasing at all. I have heard fantastic things about the quality of the food, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant just did not resonate at all with me which prompted my departure prior to ordering.

Awesome tacos. Carnitas and Carne Asada are sooo good.

We took advantage of the happy hour tacos and drinks and loved it! Excellent prices and great food. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We have been a few times during summer months and always enjoyed our food and time at Taps and Tacos. A little dissapointing this visit as they had run out of shells for burritos and when we ordered fish tacos we were told only 1 serving left but then we were told after we'd have to pick something else as they had run out completely of this as well! being a holiday eve at 6:30 pm was quite surprised 😳
