The waitress who served us was so lovely. It was for my 21st dinner with my family and we all had a really nice time.

I’ve been here before and really liked it. This time they got 3 Out of 4 orders wrong. They brought the right order for one of our party. The other two orders were for the Lamb & Falafel wrap which was missing lamb. When we asked about the lamb we were told it was Lamb OR falafel, not both. The menu very clearly says AND, but regardless this was not fixed. The sides also came at totally different times, which would be fine, but by the time we got the last side we were done with the meal. Overall, not a great experience.

Lovely place, lovely food. Wings weren't that hot though, odd tasting sauce on the Louisiana style. Pesto was delish, salmon salad too. Burger was very tasty, however the Diablo burger wasn't much of a spicy devil either. Portions were generous.
this is not the first time I was disappointed by this place!
We booked for New years day and booking was confirmed to only know when we have arrived that they were still closed and were opening in 30 mins.
When we asked about the reason we were told why we never thought about calling the restaurant! I mean if you book and you get a confirmation then surely there is no need to call the restaurant no?
We asked for brunch menu and we were told that this wasn't possible and that we should go somewhere else.
Absolute disgrace considering that it's really hard to get a booking on New Year's day!
poor customer service and management over all!
Starters were lovely, service was generally good, main course was disappointing, pizza was undercooked, raw to be honest, had to send it back. We were told the kitchen was closed and would we like to see dessert menu! I asked if it was possible to have anything else and yes we ordered a pasta dish, which was fine, edible.
Disappointing, and probably won't go back.
Taste used to be a reliable go to spot for brunch or lunch, unfortunately the last couple of visits have left us very disappointed. Being a busy weekend and with our 4 year old in tow we booked via Open Table. When we arrived and announced ourselves a female staff person just pointed to our table and said "That's it". We sat while our son played, totally ignored by the staff walking about. My wife had to hail same female staff person (let's call her FSP) asking if it was actually possible to get served. This was a full 15 minutes after we arrived. We had considered walking out, but for the sake of our child we persisted. FSP took our order while standing with her hands on her hips, obviously put out that we had annoyed her. She walked off before I had a chance to order a coffee, resulting in us calling her back again. Pancakes for our child were average, not savoury, not sweet. Steak, egg and chips was overseasoned. Falafel on a wrap arrived overloaded with chopped tomatoes obscuring the falafel and was difficult to eat. We were never offered water for the table, nor were we offered a drinks menu. At the end of our meal when FSP asked if we were finished, or wanted anything else and was told "No" she simply wandered off, not even the bill was offered. All in all a very disappointing experience. We won't be back.
I booked this at the last minute for a busy Saturday before Christmas and was very pleasently surprised. The food was very good value, it was nice not to have to choose from a Christmas menu. Location is good and we had a nice table upstairs.
Very good lunch spot. Enjoyed a lovely lunch here with family on Saturday. Even though the place was busy we didnt feel rushed or neglected. Great food and great service, looking forward to returning.
Delicious food, very friendly staff, would highly recommend.
Great atmosphere!
Had the Diablo pizza and a beer ... the pizza was right up there with the best I have had, my wife had a fish special which was very good also, perfect for a no fuss evening in town .. we will be back
