   The place was dead, maybe two tables. The service was not very good. Bc they were so dead the server sat at the bar and never hardly checked on us. The food that was roast beef, I forget what it’s called on the menu, it was stone cold in the center. $60 meal and poor service, won’t be back.

   Again, the Waffle Egg Benedict did not disappoint. Perfect sunny side up egg, smooth hollandaise sauce and the occasional sweet note of the sugar in the waffle offset by the parsley and arugula. Our server was top notch and even though we lingered longer than we should have (we made sure no one was waiting to be seated) she continued to check on us and refill my never ending coffee and the waters and iced teas at the table. Taste of Belgium has become our absolute go to breakfast/lunch/brunch destination.

   My first encounter was at the Vine St location way back when my kid was attending Art Academy of Cincinnati. Every time I would drive down from Indy I made a point of going. Fast forward 12 years and now Taste of Belgium is in Crestview Hills. Same great food, and great atmosphere too. I love this place!!

   Belgium frites are actually French fries! I thought I was getting some new thing topped with goetta, a cheese sauce, and an egg!? Not at all what I would’ve expected ..french fries for breakfast!?

   Waffles are absolutely incredible, whether they are in sweet creation or a savory one. The Waffle Eggs Benedict is amazing! So is the Beltucky Hot Brown. Their food has never disappointed.

   Waffles and Chicken, burnt them both. Party of 8, remaining entree’s cooked to satisfaction. Chalk it up to an anomaly. Still a great place to visit. Good service, friendly staff.

   Service was great, even though there was only 1 server for the evening. However, I was shocked to find that my single glass of Chardonay was $12.50!!!! Are you kidding me? Wine menu was QR code only that took me to the general menu, so I couldn't see the price before ordering. If I ever come back to TofB, I certainly will not be having an alcoholic beverage. $12.50 is highway robbery!!!!!

   Had a great meal at Taste of Belgium. My wife and I both had breakfast for dinner - eggs, potatoes, sausage, goetta and croissants. The croissants were exceptional! Only bad was there was no regular coffee.

    Since the restaurant is located in the US, US currency needs to be accepted. Next time I will only have cash with me and if the restaurant does not accept cash, it will be comping my meal. My cash is legal tender.

    Arrived around 12:15 pm. Stood at the front with about 20 other people for over 30 minutes. Finally decided to try and reserve a table since more and more people were coming in. No one ever came to speak to us. It got to be 12:50 and we decided to leave. Being under staffed is not the issue, a manager should’ve been upfront or at least helping. No manager was in sight. Multiple people in the large crowd were commenting on the horrible service they’ve at this specific one. All the workers just looked at everyone standing up front and said nothing. Someone did ask the bartender what was going on and all she said was the host was bussing tables, I saw a girl with red box dyed hair removing one single plate at a time. Urgency is needed. I love the food and drinks here. But if this is how it’s going to be now, I will not return this one

    We had a 12:30 reservation. Upon arrival the hostess walked away from the stand and after 20 minutes still never came back. I went to the bar and they stated she was helping clear tables etc. No one came up to where a now large group was waiting to be seated so we ended up leaving. The last time I was there the service was terrible and now this. I’m no longer considering TOB at Crestview Hills for brunch. Extremely disappointing.

    We are a small group of friends and are trying different diners. We had not been to TOB . The service was outstanding and the food was good. The food could have been a bit warmer. I think the choice of food leans more towards brunch and we were there early evening. We all had something different and it was all tasty. If your into beer they have a great selection. We tried a couple and no complaints. I will recommend TOB but not sure its the right choice for evening dinner. Much better Brunch. Restaurant was clean with music being played at a low volume to allow table conversation.

    Food was good. Service was good. The cashless concept is highly inconvenient and unnecessary; it makes it difficult for people, particularly older people, who don’t use debit or credit cards or cell phones. My dad was with me and he is one of those.

    Our server was wonderful and very attentive. However, I was pretty disappointed at the new menu. So many of our favorites (the charcuterie board and ham/Gruyère sandwich specifically) were gone. The frites did not seem the same either. With the menu changes and increased prices, we did not feel like it was worth the amount we spent at all. Also, the hostess did not honor our reservation request for a table versus a booth even though the restaurant was not crowded at all. We were the last of our party to arrive, so I didn’t want to make everyone uncomfortable by changing seats after drinks had already been brought. Aside from the great service, it was a disappointing experience considering we were so excited to dine there.

    Food was good but the service was lacking. We had a noon lunch but not seated for an extra 20 minutes. Not an issue usually except they were seating walkins in front of us. Once seated, our server was at first attentive but then not so much. Once we ordered, it took 40 minutes for food to be served while our over worked waiter was not around. We’ve been there before and this unusual….not enough servers? Kitchen help?? Is this the new normal? We will come back and give it another try.

    We went for a Sunday brunch and were very happy! Everyone loved their food and drinks, and it was quiet enough for us to talk easily. I had the seasonal waffle, apple cinnamon with caramel sauce and the turkey links. The waffle was not overly sweet, and the sausage had a great taste. We will definitely be back!

    We had an 8 top. They had to put our order in 4 at a time because the kitchen couldn’t handle 8 orders at once. Waited 1:15 for food to come out. Three entree were totally cold our sever took forever to refill coffee and to bring drinks in the first place. Waffles were good. Bacon tasted like leather and was cold. Didn’t even eat it! Now who doesn’t eat Bacon??? OH! BTW, they took the three cold breakfasts back and remade them…and they came out cold again! Last time for me

    I have eaten here several times and the last couple times were mediocre but this time literally six people in our group of 11 had something to say about the quality of their food. All of the lettuce was wilted for those who ordered salads, the chicken, waffles, meatball dinners all had issues as well. We did not complain, or ask for new items since there were more than several of us. However we unfortunately just will not be back. Love the space, as it is conducive for larger parties, but with the continued price increase in items, added gratitude, cashless payments, and undesirable food, we don’t have much choice.

    Waffle was hard. Chicken was hard because it was overcooked. Galette had barely any fillings. Place was practically empty yet they sat us in a booth where two of our four diners were blinded by sunlight. Didn't mice us when we pointed it out. Won't go back.

    Food was fine. Waffles are obviously the best thing on the menu. We were there for brunch and the restaurant was only about half full but it took 35 minutes to get our meals for just myself and two kids. Overall it was fine but wouldn’t necessarily do again.

    Heard about restaurant via Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. In area for family vacation. Waiter was not very attentive, walked away half way through our drink order to make drinks for another waitress, was just overall ho hum about us being there. Waiters lack of enthusiasm may be why there were only 2 other parties in the restaurant during prime dining hours. Did not have time to eat appetizer before food came out despite having not ordered at the same time. Food was okay but restaurant is a one and done.

    Mussels were delicious but the two meals we ordered with frites were awful. On another occasion we visited, the frites were crispy & hot, this time, they tasted & appeared reheated.

    We visited in May. TOB is adding a "supply chain issues surcharge" to the bill. A small card on the table notified us of it, but it didn't say how much. When the bill came it was an additional 8.5%! I would rather see an increased price on the menu items than not know what the actual cost is going to be. They also have gone "cashless", so you better be prepared with a credit/debit card or electronic wallet. None of this seems very customer friendly to me. There are lots of good restaurants to choose from in the area. We're not inclined to return here.
