Nothing about this place speaks of “tavern”
Food offerings expected. Happy hour not very exciting and drink heavy. 3 of 4 of us had fries that arrived cold. Flat bread was Luke warm when delivered. Hamburger had non eatable parts in it. BBQ sauce was very vinegar heavy. We enjoyed quiet conversation among friends but don’t feel compelled to return for food
It's nice to see that the Owner is walking around and checking on our food and service
Birthday it was a great night!!
We really enjoyed our first experience at Tavern 180. I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, which is their most popular dish, and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the brisket tacos, and didn't leave a bite on his plate. We split a salad as an appetizer, and both enjoyed the zesty house dressing. There is a great selection of wines, and the digital menu suggests wines that suit your meal choice, which is pretty cool. Caution: the wine prices were on the higher end (at least for two teachers). However, we chose to have a beer, and there was a nice selection. They even carried one of my favorites: Stiegl grapefruit Radler. The atmosphere is elegant, and the clientele was late 30's and up. It was quiet, and easy to hold a conversation, which was a great bonus. We plan to go back!
If you are looking for excellent cocktails and food, this is the place. The Wagyu beef is butter-tender. I adore the roasted brussels sprouts.
Great place. It was a little loud at times but overall....very tolerable.
Nice menu. Marginal service but not a negative.
The food was great, however, the service was poor. My husband ordered a drink and it didn’t arrive until we were leaving. One table got up and left when no one served them. We like the food so will go back. Hopefully it won’t happen again.
Very loud, slow service not what you expect for the price
We enjoyed our evening at Tavern180. Appetizers and salad were fresh, interesting. French onion soup was delicious and served hot. My husband’s fish and chips were good, but he was disappointed in the tartar sauce and didn’t finish his main course. The other main course orders were great. We had excellent desserts and were pleased with the offerings.
Very good service. Food also very good! Nice variety on menu.
we have always had a good experience at Tavern 180. We like to sit in the bar as the dining can be a little noisy if there are large groups in there. Staff is very attentive and pleasant. Good variety on the menu and the food has always been good.
Love this place! Top shelf quality all the way. Highly recommend.
Food was top notch however everything else was lacking. Service was very poor as we had to ask to have our water refilled and that was if you could catch the server. Most the time they were nonexistent. The table next to us got fed up and asked for the manager. Not the type of service you expect when you are paying for fine dining. The atmosphere was disappointing as it is one big open room where noise carries and therefore it was very loud. For the money I will go somewhere else next time.
Restaurant Week and birthday - Jackie our waitress was great, as was the food. We’ll be back.
Great food and good service.
Food was fantastic, waitress was wonderful, perfect evening
9/14/18. Very disappointing and won’t be going back. Our reservation was not needed as there were only 2 other occupied tables. The lone waitress was not timely in her initial arrival to our table and said she was so busy. She clunked the entree plates down on the table and did not come back to check on us. The side veggie on my plate was cool and not warm. When she came back to take our plates and was informed of the disappointing food, she replied you should have let me know. That is hard to do when a server doesn’t come back to the table. This restaurant tries to reflect an upscale dining experience and it is not successful.
The only complaint I would have is that the dining room was absolutely freezing and I couldn’t stand it. We moved out to the patio where it was a beautiful night. We were the only ones out there which was awesome. The chairs we so comfy and we had an awesome meal with a great waiter.
Always a great meal with fantastic service! We had the rib eye and salmon. Cooked perfect!
It was out first time at Tavern 180 and it was our 13th wedding anniversary. It definitely was the place to go for a memorable experience! The food was fantastic and the drinks had dry ice added to them. iPad menus are such a neat idea as well. Thanks!
Very cool spot! Great scenery!
if you are near Village Point there are really only 3 choices....Pitch, Firebirds and Tavern 180
The food we had great taste. Unfortunately the steak was overcooked, didn't complain just not that type of person.
Servers are the best anywhere!
This is our place for special occasions and in between. The food and service is always outstanding and exceeds our expectations. The jalapeño bacon is unique and very tasty. The cranberry reduction sauce on the pork chop was an absolute hit. We treated ourselves to the praline brownie sundae for our anniversary and enjoyed every bite. We will keep going back time and time again.
Wonderful food and service the lobster bisque was amazing! I should have taken a picture
The waitress was so polite and kind. The food was great as always. I had the parmesan encrusted chicken and then the butter cake for desert.
Overall a good experience but very pricy. Our table ordered the large and small filet and a ribeye. All three were excellent cuts but all were undercooked. We also had the pork chop which was outstanding. Family style sides were just OK. The highlight was a special on $15 bottles of wine. We also had the double chocolate cake (on the house for bday) that was good. I would rate the restaurant higher but when paying top dollar for steaks I expect the execution to match the price.
Really disappointed in this meal. Server was frazzled and unhappy. Ordered a drink and had to ask twice for it - over a span of 40 minutes. Pork chop was dry and over cooked. Potatoes incredibly under seasoned and Brussels sprouts - just, awful. My 3 dinner companions had similar disappointing food. Ice machine broken. Very expensive for a meal I would have found better quality at Applebee’s.
We got seated it was our anniversary both my husband and I ordered a martini. They served it to us in a rocks glass because apparently they had run out of martini glasses. The place wasn’t even crowded and it was 5:45. The martinis were so watered down that we sent them back and just played it safe and ordered a bottle of wine ! The fact that it was our 33 anniversary wasn’t much fun drinking a watered down martini out of a rocks glass!
Recommend not getting the bread they serve you because it was still doughy inside :( all in all won’t be going back to tavern 180 for any occasion !!!!
Excellent venue for business meetings.
Excellent service and food
Wonderful experience overall, would definitely recommend.
We were the only ones there and service was slow. We ordered but not everything was served and we needed to remind the server. My son’s filet was tough and the fries were overdone. My steak and risotto were excellent. I ordered dessert and the server came back and asked us if we wanted dessert! His mind was elsewhere. I did not order dessert.
First time we had been at Tavern 180, and we enjoyed everything about this place. We were celebrating our anniversary, and were extremely happy with everything. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so wonderful.
Very nice experience on a weeknight. They were not particularly busy so the staff was attentive but not intrusive. One person had the grilled salmon and the other had the pork chop. Both were done well and the portion were sized nicely. The Brussels Sprouts were to die for!!
First time at the 180. My wife heard from a friend of hers that we should try this dinning room for dinner one night. We did. Very nice dining room. The menu had plenty to choose from. They have prime beef and fresh seafood so your dinner tab will show it. However, when we were finished with dinner we agreed that it was worth what we paid. The items we ordered we would have again! The scallops and the beef tenderloin we would recommend for sure. John was our waiter. Very pleasant and new his menu well. The only negative issue was they brought out our main course before we were ready however, we were at fault. We did not mention to him that we like a slow paced dinner. This place would be the best for any occasion you may have! It's so nice that we have another upscale place to go in western Omaha! We highly recommend this place. PS. I for got to mention that the salad with the fruit in it and their take on Bananas Foster was very well done also.
Appeared to be only one waiter? Very very slow service, inattentive waiter. The room was very bright (don't remember that fromy last visit) which gave the restaurant a hotel restaurant feel. At least 2 dirty appetizer plates at our table and my water had residual lipstick from the last person that used my glass. The food, however, was fantastic
1st timers. Great service; perfectly timed courses and excellently prepared. Very nice wine selection as well. A definite mainstay restaurant for us going forward.
