Super friendly staff, great atmosphere, yummy food and great drinks! I will be back!

The table we reserved was not available when we arrived on time.
We had chosen the location partially because this seating was available. The hostess team seemed unaware there was a reservation for a bar table and had seated them all despite our reservation

Nice to see people out in the world after quarantining for 2020. Highly recommend the fish tacos (best in New England) and the corn salsa is amazing.

Steer clear of the steak tips. Cut of beef was fatty and chewy and the marinade tastes like candy. It’s just a weird taste for steak.

Service was great. Drinks were great and we will be back.

Everything was high quality. We had several questions and requests,. She was pleasant and responsive through out. Food was well presented and delicious. Loved it.

When we arrived for our scheduled dining it was about 6:30, 15 minutes early. We were seated and told we had a 90 minute limit. Our waitress was wonderful, and as we were finishing our meals and drinks, the hostess who checked us in came over, ever so rudely to remind us we were reaching our 90 minute limit. This was not our waitress throughout the night, so this was a bit of a surprise. Our regular waitress apologized for this and very humble, and I have never experienced this type of rush before, eating multiple times at this restaurant during the pandemic. It was a Saturday night and very busy-so hopefully this won’t be the case next time!

The covered and heated patio was the main draw for us. The food was just "ok". We should have stopped at drinks and appetizers as they were the best part of the meal. The burgers were overcooked and the mesquite chicken bowl had a burnt, acrid aftertaste.

Well you can’t go wrong with the Tavern House Sangria to start! I also really enjoy the Tavern burger and the salmon . There is a nice variety on the menu and the staff is so welcoming!

Good food. Our waitress was excellent - very attentive and efficient. Covid precautions adhered to - felt very safe there. Manager visited our table to insure we were satisfied with everything. Will definitely return again.

Considering all restaurants are supposed to be thoroughly cleaning everything in these Covid times, I was surprised to see lots of pieces of nachos/chips on the seat in the booth we were directed to. Made me question just how clean everything else was.
Putting that aside, the warm russet chips as an appetizer were perfect, the sangria very refreshing. The entrees were good, not exceptional but reasonably tasty. As far as the ambiance, it’s difficult to relax when everyone is wearing masks and keeping their distance but this restaurant still manages to keep it relaxed. The music is good and at the right loudness. However on this visit it was unbearably hot in there which made us leave sooner than we would have otherwise.

I have been here three times now and they have no value in reservations, they seat other before you even if you have a reservation and we waited outside for at least 15 minutes past our reservation each time. The food is great but why bother with a reservation

Tavern has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants! The food is always amazing, service on point and just a really nice but casual atmosphere.

Had a great meal outside on there patio under heat lamps. Very Covid friendly which is hard to find now with the colder weather. All of the food was very good and just a nice night out. Definitely worth going here.

Good food. Server was clearly new and struggled to provide the “script” chain restaurants used- aka “were offering blank/blank/blank.) but she was sweet and the food was awesome.

Waitress was outstanding but had to battle a very slow kitchen. Ended up leaving and cancelled our entrees.

Food was excellent!!! We already can’t wait to go back and order some of the same things and try some new things!

The food is good and the service was great but the menu is overall kind of lackluster in terms of variety. That said, it was affordable and the burgers were pretty good.

Good food, the temperatures of our meals were great my boyfriend got a boneless ribeye and I got the lamb both cooked perfectly to what we asked for. Potatoes au gratin were amazing! Asparagus slightly over cooked and hollandaise was not very lemony mostly butter. Slow but very nice service.

So we went for brunch... Cofee was cold... We tried order another to see if would came hot but once again it was cold I almost ask for ice so it could be ice coffee...
Potatoes were burn and old.
The place is beautiful but the brunch was horrible.
We went other time for dinner and it was great but brunch never more

Food was great. Comfortable with the Covid precautions EXCEPT our waitress removed her mask every time she came to our table to talk with us.
Unacceptable in this health climate. We were able to hear her just fine through the mask. There was no reason to remove the mask.

We love the outside seating and the seating on the deck area. I wish there was a shrimp option for the Caesar salad 😊

The online reservation had two options: indoor or patio. Wanting to eat outside, I reserved a table at the patio but was shocked to arrive at the restaurant and learn that "patio" was simply another indoor space, with no windows open to the outside. We waited outside until a (non-reservable) table on the sidewalk was free. My friend's bacon cheeseburger arrived without bacon and my eggplant parm sandwich arrived without marinara sauce (which I had asked them to subtitute for their salsa). It was pretty taste-free. On the positive side, it wasn't overly expensive and the server was friendly. We won't be returning.

Good overall food. Dessert was by far the Star. Really good!!

First time diner here and first time out during Covid-19. I felt safe and waitress was fabulous. Meal was excellent and will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Because it was a cool day we opted for indoor seating which was safe because the restaurant was mostly empty. Wish we had stayed with our original plan of outdoor dining Three overhead heaters made it too hot and uncomfortable. The food ( Greek salad with grilled chicken) was rather band, tasteless and overcooked. One companion had the Ceasar with chicken which she described the same way and one had the Eggplant stack which she said was excellent. 1 out of 3.

Very nice place.... loved the vibe..... great place to meet friends out. The Crab Rangoons were unbelievable.. I want to go back for more..... My wife loved the salmon meal, however the portion size for that price was small..... I had the fish & chips.... the batter wasn’t what I expected, kinda thick and not very flavorful... the fish itself was very good...

Food was very good. Waiter was wonderful. Time limit on table was uncomfortable. Overall, great experience.

We had 5 people in our party and were seated immediately in our preferred area - outdoor patio. Service was very good and food met our expectations. All was good.

In these pandemic times it’s nice to find a restaurant with comfortable options for both indoor and outdoor dining. It helps when the restaurant has all the comfort foods you’d like, at reasonable prices, friendly service and great cocktails. This is the place to go when you’re looking for all of that.

My go to spot

It was great sitting out in the covered area! We love this restaurant. The prices on some items (wine $17 for a glass), and a few other things were a bit high, but it didn’t stop us from ordering them. We felt pretty safe 😊
