Such a super great spot. We dine all over Buckhead. Drive and hour into the city to do so. I would drive twice as far for this food.
Super surprised but happily. Deep flavors and the service was top notch. They hired the right people in the kitchen and front of the house.
Super special commentary on the managers. They were visible and interacted with us on several occasions.
Did I mention the food? Such a good experience.

Server was great, food was very good but didn’t blow me away. We were seated on the tarped in patio so didn’t get to enjoy the beauty of the inside of the restaurant. I would definitely go back, just knowing there are better Italian restaurants in Atlanta.

came here to celebrate my 21st birthday! Me and my girls had some yummy mimosas! all the staff wore masks and each table was socially distanced. i definitely recommend the margharita pizza and their mimosas

Fun- subpar food

This is truly a perfectly well-rounded top dining experience! I extremely find it hard to find something that was not simply great! Food, ambiance, service, location. Well suited for Italian foodies such as me and my family.

Excellent service and authentic Italian cuisine!

I took a friend to Taverna for lunch, and the food did not disappoint. The food and service were exceptional. My friend had the Paglia both dishes were phenomenal in flavor, but dessert took the meal to the next level. We had the Tiramisu and Chocolate Hazelnut Budino; both desserts were exquisite. The staff were friendly and polite and were knowledgeable on the different meal choices. I will for sure be returning soon!

Spectacular!

Went for Sunday brunch. Got a table on their covered side walk table. Beautiful day. They raised the plastic right after we set down making it a great table. The beignets were perfect. The chefs focaccia was a perfect start. Crust was outstanding. We had eggs Benedict (and the eggs were cooked perfectly) the pasta carbonara, and the grilled chicken salad. Everything was excellent and made for a great brunch. Recommend Highly

Arrived for our reservation at 11am. They wouldn’t seat us until our entire party was there (3) so we didn’t get sat until 11:30 and the place was empty.

Food used to be better, now not so much. Disappointing.

Taverna never disappoints! Enjoyed an evening out with family. We had the shrimp & lobster risotto (special), eggplant Parmesan, chef’s focaccia, and a Caesar salad. DELISH! Every time we are in the area, we make arrangements to eat here at least once.

Good service, could have been quieter. Sat at corner patio near speaker.

Love Taverna, but it seems to have gotten very expensive and the club music playing while eating a nice dinner is a little strange!

I took my best friend to dinner for her birthday. We had a 9pm reservation. Things were quiet as the restaurant was half empty. Things were off to a great start until about 9:40 when one of the servers came and told us that the kitchen was closed and we couldn't order anything else. There was no heads up, no last call. I was particularly disappointed because I had told our server that it was my friend's birthday. But since, the kitchen was closed, I was unable to order a dessert for her.

As it approached 10 o'clock, we started to feel very rushed. They kept insisting we could take our time while also wiping down the table as we were still seated. They also kept coming back to ask if we were done, and my friend ended up having to chug her glass of whiskey, which was far from ideal.
The food itself was decent with the exception of the Risotto being cold. In all, our 2 person dinner came to over $100 (before tip and tax) but I am not entirely sure it was worth it.

Our server was nice though.

Food and service consistently great. We sat outside, I had Salmone Capperi e Limone and hubby had Fettuccine Frutti di Mare - both were excellent! We will be back, highly recommend!

Enjoyed the appetizers and pizza. The service was superb. We were seated near the bar which placed us close to customers picking up to-go orders- felt crowded and noticed that one of the bartenders was not wearing a mask while the other was as well as other staff.

Great spot for pizza with the family on a beautiful Friday evening. Food and service were both great. Patio seating wonderful - close to perfect. Only thing that could have been better was that the tables were very close together - if there were accommodations for social distancing, it was not apparent - don’t need to take out half or even a third of the tables - just 1 or 2 fewer tables so guests are not so crammed in together on the patio.

Service was great, and our food was delicious.

We came for a birthday celebration for two of my family members. When we got there the table wasn’t ready yet because some previous guests were finishing up, but the manager was so kind when we were waiting. The food was delicious and then they brought out birthday desserts. Truly, I even told the manager this, we love Taverna and we were willing to wait because of how good the food is. They treated us so well.

I have been to Taverna many times on many different occasions and it is always great! Hot and delicious food with so many gluten free options. Fantastic service as well and everyone was wearing masks and following health protocols.

The food and service at Taverna are always excellent. I visit usually once a week. Great spot.
