Tellers: An American Chophouse

As usual the food was outstanding train wrecked potatoes back on the menu!!
It was my daughters 21st birthday they brought her a creme brûlée on the house for her birthday. The service was excellent as well

Dessert was great, but a restaurant for hat caliber deserves a in house true pastry chef!

Absolutely nailed it with everything that hit the table. Probably my 5th tine there in the last 10 years and this was definately the best in every way. FWIW, I dont give reviews like this often at all.

The food was delicious and server was wonderful. If you like spicy, I highly recommend the cherry peppers along with your steak. The burnt broccoli is a must! We can't wait to go back!

In all the years I’ve been coming here, this had to be the worst experience. We were not sat at our reservation time and made to wait in an uncomfortable and small waiting area. They hosts were not very welcoming. The service was extremely slow. The food was cold as if it was sitting waiting to be served. This restaurant has really fallen off from its normal service level.

First time here and had a great experience... covid laws gave us a time limit to be seated... but food was excellent. Then apps were great. Overall had a great time.

Went on New Years Day with the family. The wait staff was very nice and took care of my young family well. Food was delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend!

Tellers is a great restaurant who always delivers but the experience fell short on NYE. Expensive price fix menu and the food quality was not as per their usual. My sister described it as “good wedding food” but again this was just the experience for this particular night and I will return with hopes they redeem themselves.

We were not aware of the price fix menu ... totally overpriced! We have been there many times including NYE before. Our server was not Tellers caliber at all.

So unbelievably awful. We don’t mind a pre fix menu or even paying a little more on a holiday for the kind of dining experience we would expect from a place like Tellers and we have dined here before and we’re pleased but not this time and not on a holiday occasion. Prefix was 150 per person, so $300 for me and my husband and that’s before cocktails and tip so in all we are looking at north of $400. Well we never got to that point. The menus selection was not good. The food was worse and to start it all off on the wrong foot to begin with they sat us in a back room that had no ambiance and felt like we were put in steerage like accommodation after being told when we checked in with the hostess that we had an hour and a half for our reservation time slot. No mention of this was made when the reservation was made and confirmed. So we did not appreciate feeling rushed before we even sat down. The first course looked like something my kid could make and was not high end restaurant quality. Second course was terrible. The killer the burratta with some much red onion that that was all you could taste. We decided we were not going to stay for such meager and poor quality and presentation for this price and left. The waitress tried her best and none of it as her fault so we tipped her generously and left. Tellers took major short cuts at premium prices. Not cool. Won’t go back.

Great food, atmosphere and staff! Everything was great, from appetizers and drinks to entrees and dessert!

I asked for a medium well preparation of my Beef Wellington. I was told that is not possible. Beef Wellington has been offered by “One if by Land Two if by Sea” in NYC for over 50 years. Every time I’ve ordered Beef Wellington at One if by Land I was able to get it prepared Medium well. Further, I believe that Beef Wellington should be prepared with the Sauce within the puff pastry and not sitting in a pool of sauce / gravy as it was in Tellers. This meal was very disappointing a Tellers.

As always Tellers exceeds expectations, the Tellers Lincer Special is a true value and a superb meal.

Sat in the Upstairs Dining room where Server Chris and staff made our Dinner Christmas Celebration Special. Cant wait to return. Everything was Perfect.

The meal was very good. It was great to see some of the entrees such as Porkchop Milanese carried over from Verace. I would like to request that you add my favorite special "Cannolis" from Verace to your menu as well. They were pirouette cookie style shells filled with a mascarpone mousse.

Teller's has done it again! I had the pleasure of dining here on Christmas Eve for my birthday. From the moment you walk in, the ladies at the front are all smiles! And then, when we were brought to our table, we had this South American (Uruguay) beau as our waiter. He was an absolute delight! He was patient and most accommodating, especially given that he was dealing with three headstrong women! Just all around five-star service!

I've said it before and will say again, forget about all the other steakhouses your thinking of. Make a reservation and prepare for a magical evening!

A great place to go for any occasion!

Food and service were top notch. It’s a little heavy on the wallet, but we new that going in. It was a spurge meal, but it was definitely worth it. We had wedge salads, split the 40oz ribeye lobster ,Mac and cheese, burnt broccoli and carrot cake for dessert. All were five star except the broccoli, it was a little too burnt for our taste. Only disappointment was place was not really decked out for Christmas. The bar was a bit more decorated and was cozy with fireplace.

Dining experienced was just fine except my ordered entree of Salmon, I wasn’t happy as it was too salty! I wasn’t able to eat/enjoyed half of it.

We love coming to Tellers. Always fabulous! We had the Beef Wellington, which is my favorite dish. We’ve had it many times in the past, and it’s always incredible. This past time it was very good. The sides of French fries and grilled asparagus also great. Two great martinis and two great glasses of wine. Kyle our waiter was very knowledgeable and nice. The bill was almost 170 dollars, which is high, but definitely worth the treat one in a while.

The service and the steak impeccable. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday. We ordered the oysters, lobster bisque and filet mignon. Everything delicious

The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and not rushed.

Tellers never disappoints. Got the special porterhouse for 1, outstanding, cooked to perfection. Trainwreck potatoes, burnt broccoli, and lobster mac and cheese all delicious.

My girlfriend an I celebrated our one year anniversary. I cannot express enough how happy we were with our experience. If you are planning a lovely upscale dinner or date Tellers is a must. We cannot wait to dine there again.

Have been here several times. The quality of all of steaks was just ehhh. Calamari was too chewy. Previously it was great. The service was good but we felt rushed. The place is beautiful and decorated nicely for the holidays.

From the moment you enter until you leave, the staff, the food and the ambience is outstanding.

We were seated upstairs and it was a great choice. All the tables were twos and it was much quieter than in the dining room. Our waitress was most accommodating and the food came out not being rushed.

Steak was burnt the absolutely nothing special about the hamburger 1 step above a frozen Costco patty just thicker.

We had a wonderful meal! Excellent salad and soup, rib eye and strip steak with onion straws. Steak cooked perfectly and melt-in-your-mouth!
Pricey, but delicious 😋
