Great covidsafe pub, with good food and great inner city feel

We dined in a Tuesday and ordered the Steak Night special - great value for $19 and cooked well! Kids meal was very generous too.
Courtyard is lovely on summer evenings.

Food less than average given price
Very poor quality steaks unbalanced cooking lacking texture or moisture
I expect steaks to be much better in such pubs
Salads quite ordinary
Food service very slow
Has deteriorated since last visited

Asked for unbattered fish but was told it was not available. I ordered the fish and removed the batter. 10 minutes later the meals were delivered to the table next to me...two serves of unbattered fish and salad.

Garden Bar was magnificent with quality beer and food

Great service with friendly and attentive wait and bar staff. A fabulous local venue for a catch up with family and friends.

We love the terminus and they are always very accommodating and friendly with their service. This was the case again, however there was one mistake that dampened our experience. We ordered the mushroom bao and got served the bao with fried chicken in it. We are all pescatarin whilst predominantly eating vegetarian meals. So to get the fried chicken was a bit of poor experience. They were quick to respond, but definitely impacted our experience.

We will be back again as we are local to the pub, hoping for a better experience next time around.

New look Terminus was great. Sat outside in the beer garden. Service was great and staff made sure we checked in using the QR code. New look same great venue.

My husband myself and three teenage boys were met by the dining room host who before I could say we have a booking said “ I think you are in the wrong place . The bar is to your left down the corridor “ It was NOT a good reception. We ordered four steaks plus side serves. The steaks were well cooked and enjoyed. However my order of fish and chips was appalling! It is almost unacceptable in the bar to have the same plate.... big blob of over dressed salad, mass of fries and fish which is not evenly cooked. I certainly expected something better! As locals we were pleased to find the pleasant refurbished area , but will be very hesitant about returning if we can’t be guaranteed a uniformly high standard of food.

I made a booking for dinner with a friend 2 weeks before & on arrival was shown to a seat at a bench with 2 stools, I asked to be given a table but was told there was nothing available, after going back & forth we were finally given a table in another area. Food was standard pub meals but there was no table service & our plates weren't cleared once we had finished for at least 30mins.

Great beer, wine and food selection in an airy, bright and casual pub. Cool and relaxed.

The Terminus is our Local Pub, great food and service, friendlty staff, great atmosphere restaurant with two bars and two outdoor eating/drinking areas, if your a beer drinker your in for a treat

After I booked a month in advance, we were seated on high stools with wet cushions.
We begged to be moved inside. Wish grant for 50 minutes of comfort before we had to move again. At the third table we were rained on and had to all sit on one side of the table. The bar staff worked hard but aggressively asking us to put masks on and what is your table number? Stress and chaos.

Always reliable. Good food, good service. Easy atmosphere.

Food was great, seated on the footpath so noisy with traffic, trains and tables either side of us with young guys taking loudly, music inside was too loud

Staff did not advise of time limit until 25 minutes before it was time to lead. The person who advised was extremely rude. Then no one came to give bill so we had to wait beyond the time breaking COVID19 rules.

Wine sauce was provided when mushroom sauce was ordered. Even when waiter was queried when served.

Great ambience, had the burger and beer deal, great value and food came out fast. Well done I will be back on Thursdays for another one.

Great Sunday arvo lunch with the family. Service very friendly and helpful. Food was terrific, atmosphere relaxed and a greta happy vibe. Decor looks fabulous and all teh new additions for dining areas look fabulous. Would highly recommend.

Everything was excellence, except where we were sitting (along the banquet) it got a little cold with the door to the courtyard open
