Located on the third floor of Eataly Boston, Terra is a unique restaurant inspired by earth and fire. The dining room centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where the Terra culinary team cooks raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine.

    大変言いにくいのですが、カジキマグロの付け合わせの黄ピーマンに野菜シールが張り付いたままでした。それを最初に見てしまったので、申し訳ありませんが、その後の食事は台無しでした。ボストンの某大学の女教授と一緒でしたから、事を荒立てたくなかったので、あわててそのシールを裏返して隠しました。一応念のためにそのシール付きのピーマンの写真は撮りましたが、ここにわざわざ掲載する必要はないと思います。実際にそれを除けば食事やカクテルは美味しかったのですが、洗っていないだろうピーマンを想像してしまい気持ち悪かったです。

    The food is good, some items are overpriced! The frittata was very dry and had no flavor. I still enjoy the ambiance and the drinks, and try to go there once every few months! The only complaint I have is the servers rushing you for everything. We had to send 2 people (one of them twice) away when they tried to take our plates from the table! The plates had food on them and were still eating and chatting! And then without us asking, they just dropped the check off at the table, so we couldn’t order anything more. Aside from this, all else went great! I love the glass ceilings, the green decorations, etc.

    Very good food with great service in a beautiful room. We often eat downstairs at Pizza and Pasta. Terra is better but not so relaxed.

    Absolutely great dinner at Terra! Bartenders were prompt and so friendly while we waited for our table; we were accommodated with a great table promptly despite arriving earlier than our reservation though it was busy Saturday night! We shared sphaghetto pomodoro with burrata for an appetizer which was delicious! The tomato sauce just sang in your mouth! Our shared entree was the Fornello Pugliese...a mixed grill of meats, potato, and bread - fire cooked...have never had a dish like this! Out of this world! Our server, Christian, was a joy, attentive and efficient! We had a great night!

    I’ve been to Terra about 5 times now. I’m a little bit disappointed with the cocktails. The pasta is delicious but the menu never change and it has very limited choices. I wish Terra take into consideration to change up the menu and their cocktails seasonally. Or at least add some special options for the regular customers to get a chance to experience something different.

    Our server was terrific. I think his name was Sal. He really helped us navigate the menu and put together winning meals. Unique and delicious food. Really fresh and delicious. Worth the price.

    It was just ok. Had a reservation but needed to wait an extra 20 mins. The seafood apps were pretty lacking of taste and the menu didn't provide particularly good descriptions. The meat platter for 2 was ok, some of the meat was dry, nothing medium rare, all at least medium, which isnt what you necessarily expect when ordering from an Italian steakhouse. 6 out of 10 but you could do a lot better for the money elsewhere in Back Bay.

    Food and service was good, with one big exception. We ordered the grilled seafood plate for two, and they brought a side dish of what looked like polenta (including some colored drizzle on top). I took a big bite, only to find that it was pure salt. A VERY unpleasant experience, especially since I swallowed most of it before I realized what was happening. Ruined the rest of my meal. Everyone else at our table enjoyed themselves.

    Three of the four people in our party had had positive experiences at Terra so we were looking forward to our dinner there. Such a disappointment. The food was mediocre at best and over priced, especially considering the quality. The noise level was unbearably loud and we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Cocktails were over priced (is $21 for a manhattan reasonable, given the ambience)? All agreed that we won’t go there again. So many better restaurants in Boston.

    Unfortunately, the food experience--which used to be really good--was disappointing at best. The ravioli were gloppy and lacked flavor, and were served haphazardly having slid to one side of the plate on a bed of greasy sauce. The carrots and brussel sprouts were poorly cooked and not particularly tasty and the grilled fish of the day at $80 was well overpriced. On balance, this will prevent me from returning any time soon.

    We started with the oysters cooked over the wood fire, they were very good. For main we shared the Fornello Pugliese, which had skirt steak, chicken, sausage, potatoes etc. It was disappointing. Steak was very fatty and cold. None of the meats were hot, they were warm to luke warm. Service was excellent and the ambiance was nice but food was disappointing. We have had food downstairs and it was good, Terra was disappointing.
