Terra at Eataly Boston
My daughter & I made a reservation for lunch (1:45) but were given the dinner menu (w/ dinner prices) and lunch-size portions. The choices were very limited, which I understand due to COVID, but were disappointing. Our entrees were OK, but I expected more from such a prestigious venue. Our server, however, was very attentive and friendly.
Overall great experience. Food and service were both great and its a really fun atmosphere. Would definitely go back and recommend it to friends
Booked reservation, was quickly seated and served. Looking forward to next visit.
SPECTACULAR. Service from Alejandro and team, attention from Jessica and the Chef and Sous Chef crazy delicious menu. Foia gras on crostino? They went there. The "A Tavola" meal - $60pp or $120 for the table (of two), changes frequently, and the amount of food is INSANE. We had lunch the next day, feasting on the amazing herb sous vide salmon. Which did not rival the salmon en papillion with crispy fregola, which didn't rival the salmon belly crudo with sensual olive oil and blood orange. Great food, amazing people, superb wines. Total value, total experience!
Food was delicious but a little pricey compared to the serving size. Overall fantastic taste and would love to return!
Great waiter and amazing service. Unfortunately both my date and myself I did not like my pasta dish that much. But great ambiance
The food was incredible from the taste to the presentation of the dish. We got their prime rib special, and needless to say it was the most delicious cut of meat we’ve ever had! Our waiter was very kind and attentive. We felt very safe with new “mask unless you are eating or drinking” policy that they enforced in restaurant. They had dividers and we were not near any others. It was very private. It was a bit dark, but other than that the ambiance was beautiful!
Had a really nice lunch at Terra, will absolutely go back!
It was way too dark inside...we had to ask for a different table because the light was better
We sat the bar and LOVED watching the open kitchen. It wa like we had dinner and a show. Felt very safe as well!
Excellent service and very Covid aware. The staff took safety very seriously. We were the first in the restaurant, and even as it started to get busy there was still plenty of space between tables. The meat and cheese board was excellent, as was the sparkling rose by the glass!
Amazing staff. The chef was so accommodating to all our allergy and diet needs.
Food was average for the price. Not at all what we expected. We love the market but was not at all impressed with dinner. Noted special occasion was a birthday celebration and no mention or attempt to make it special.
Great service. Beautiful dining room. Would recommend.
Amazing holiday lunch. Covid preparations were perfect and once we settled in we were transformed back to a more normal time.
Our waiter and Kyle sat at the grill made our afternoon. The food was delicious, wine suggestions were great and both of them were engaging, friendly, and fun to chat up.
This was our second time dining at Terra and unfortunately, there were some serious issues with my husband's entree. He had the rigatoni Alla Napoletana and it was loaded with pig fat but what the big concern was there were big bones in his dish - thank god, he noticed this or he could have choked. He brought this to our Server's attention and no one even came over to speak to us so I requested a Manager and though she came over and told us she would let the kitchen know - I was shocked she didn't offer to comp his meal due and said something to her which she ended up doing so after I brought it up and also, the Carbonara dish I ordered was very bland and lacked flavor - one of the worst Carbonara dishes I've had anywhere
Terra made amazing investments to preserve the charm of the restaurant and assuring a safe dining experience! We loved it!!
A hidden spot inside of Eataly with a great little wine list and a clever menu.
Place is amazing, food is delicious , servcie is good.
The staff is courteous and professional. The food is of good quality but it is presented with little attention (appetizers were piled up on the dish - my Florentine steak was dripping profusely when brought at the table).
Wine bottles are more expensive than most restaurants
The steak I had there was the best steak I’ve eaten in my life. I am 58 years old. I’ve eaten a lot of steak. It. Was. The. Best. Cooked perfectly. The Mistica (?) salad was perfection in its simplicity. The squid incredible. We felt safe and sated and cared for! Did I mention the cocktails? Perfect!
The food in general was spot on, except pasta was quite salty. There was a long delay after ordering drinks before it was brought to the table.
I understand that due to the pandemic, restaurants are struggling to meet customers expectations. This instance does not discourage me from coming back.
Great service! Great food!
Went during pandemic at 730 on a Monday so restaurant was pretty empty but host and server was super friendly and helpful explaining what some items were and their pairings. Food was fantastic as was the wine
Great service, food and drink! Made a special occasion even more special.
We took my daughter for her Birthday this past Sunday. We liked the atmosphere and the way they separate the tables for COVID precautions was good. It was nice and private and cozy however It was very dark inside and hard to read the menu They only gave us 3 menus for 5 people which was ok but delayed us getting our order in. The waiter did warn us that they cook the pasta andante which we should have told them to cook a bit more because it was fairly hard. The Spaghetti main course was very spicy. The Rigatoni Ragu was very good mild with nice flavor but again we should have said we want the pasta cooked more. One person in our party ordered the 7 bone steak. It was tasty but very fatty and grisly and came on a big wood plank and leaked all over the table. No sides. Every thing ala carte which ended up pricey. Not a great value for the money. Our waiter was pleasant but not very attentive. Had to wait for bread, water for extended time. One glass of wine and 5 lowered end lower priced entrees was $160. Just did not wow me for the money. Would likely not return.
The restaurant has an amazing ambiance and great drinks. However, the employees linger around the table an excessive amount we felt like we were constantly being watched. I’m a server myself and I thought it was too much. The food is way overpriced for what you get and my pasta which was supposed to be al dente was undercooked and hard. The only reason I would go here again is for drinks and maybe an appetizer.
We felt very safe and had a wonderful meal. Like many restaurants they only offer the dinner menu on weekends. What great food.
I've dined in at NYC's Eataly a few months ago and I fell in love with it. Unfortunately, Terra could not keep up with it. For starters, the service was unprofessional and careless. The menu had quite limited vegetarian options, so I had to pick two dishes to fill myself properly. I started with some bruschettas with Burrata cheese which were so burnt that was almost impossible to eat. I later paid $36 for a "Tajarin with Burgundy Black Truffle Butter" to get a dish of spaghetti soaked in regular butter and a bit of truffle shredded on top. The dish was so greasy that I ended up with a stomachache for the rest of the night. After such a hugely disappointing experience, I have to say Terra was a debut and a farewell for me.
Food portions were small and overpriced. Service and vibes were excellent!
Everything was great at Terra! Will definitely come back again!
Was very nice! Great service and amazing food.
Mediocre and expensive. Loved the big chunk of tendon in my little bowl of $28 pasta.
Great place to go with the family, I just wish the menu had more variety for pasta. I was disappointed they didn't have tagliatelle bolognese for example
Great food, nice spot on a nice day!
The service was incredibly slow. We were seated for 40 minutes before anyone even came to take our drink order. And then they wanted everything at once; drinks, apps, and dinner. We felt rushed through our meal because of the new curfew in the city. However, had they taken our order sooner we would have had plenty of time.
Additionally the outdoor seating is very windy. Be prepared for that.
Food was AMAZING & our waiter was extremely attentive & polite.
