Terra Rossa - Red Rock Casino
My wife and I were first time dinners at this new restaurant. Our experience was excellent even with the confusion around our order. My wife has a restaurant and mistakes are made but how you handle them is the key. In this case Felix our server and the manager went out of their way to make things right. Food quality was excellent and I would recommend dinning at Terra Rossa, we plan to return.
Thinking of old Terra Rossa, we were excited that the old name is back with all the charm, the ambiance, good food and service that we have a lot of fond memories from those days. We were disappointed to see that new Terra Rossa is nothing like the old Terra Rossa. Very noisy, with tables clustered too close to one another, heavy trafficking surrounding the tables. Our hurried waitress was not warm and engaging.
We waited a long time to give our order and a long time between courses. Most importantly the quality of the food we ordered was not nearly as good as it used to be. The salmon was salty, and, grilled broccolini was burned. The gelato was just mediocre. It would be a while before we go back there again
very noise because of music playing. Our pasta came cold and was nothing to write home about.
Salad and appetizer were good.
Probably will not go back, to many other choices in the vicinity.
They really did a good job with terra rossa. Everything we ordered was excellent. The ingredients were fresh and everything was prepared perfectly. The service is still a little off, but give it a bit of time and it will be a top notch place.
The salad was soggy, the lettuce not fresh. Not as good as the old Terra Rosa. Poor choice of background music. Only the wine was good.
We went there for a pre dinner concert. They seated us promptly inn the middle of the room. Our waiter Ryan was very attentive and knowledgeable. We started with a glass of wine and some complementary appetizers of zucchini chips, warm olives and chunks of cheese. Next came the capresee salad that was awesome. Our entrees were very good.
The room is very loud and noisy. If you wanted to chat at the table, I suggest you ask to sit outside on the patio.
We loved loved loved Terra Rossa. It will now be our favorite Italian restaurant in Las Vegas. From the very moment we were greeted by the friendly staff including the manager to our server, Jessica it was a delightful evening. Red Rock got it right this time. The food was incredible. The in house made bread and pasta was most delicious and the pizza was fantastic. We will be back for sure and can't wait to try the happy hour. I can't wait to try other dishes. Great job!
Very disappointing first visit to Terra Rossa. We loved the old Terra Rossa, Salute and Masso, all of which were in this space previously. But the latest incarnation of Terra Rossa is not up to the same standard. My wife's pesto pasta with potatoes and green beans was oily and barely edible. And my whole wheat pasta primavera was OK but not great. The salad and minestrone soup that preceded the main course were nothing to write home about.
I hear the Fertitas (owners of Red Rock Casino/Hotel) decided to make the switch back from Masso to Terra Rossa, but their new restaurant needs to focus much more on quality if they want to maintain the standards set by its predecessors.
Very much enjoyed this new concept at Red Rock! Excellent service. Lasagna and cacio Pepe were spot on.
Steven was an outstanding server.
Love the happy hour menu and that it is offered everyday!
We loved this restaurant in every way. So much so, we went twice in one weekend! Felix did an awesome job taking care of us both nights! We will be visiting frequently!
It's baacckkk!!! And, it's better than ever. I am a meatball snob and their meatballs are excellent....maybe in my top 5 all time. Yes, that good. Arancini too. It was quite good. The homemade pasta is always welcome by me. And, the spaghetti pomodoro is simple, but fantastic. Lastly, the pizza was great too....thin and crispy crust!
I have already been twice and am thinking about when I can go again as I write this review. Mastrioni's is excellent. As is La Strega. Terra Rossa will make which local Summerlin place for "Italian" that much more difficult. It is worthy!
It’s new so expect some of the challenges with a new place. However, it was an existing restaurant and there were zero changes.
Service was slow, but the place just opened. The quality of the food and menu selections were terrible. Go to Olive Garden and at least get value. The food had no flavor. The tiramisu was still frozen and tasted like something from the frozen food section at your local grocery store.
There is no environment/atmosphere. The place is as bright as Yankee Stadium at night.
On Open Table they claim 1500 bottle wine selection so there was an expectation of a sophisticated restaurant. No wine list was presented. Just a few bad options on the menu.
I’m sure the service will improve, but the quality of the food probably doesn’t change.
Go to the Strip and you’ll pay double, but its edible.
Great Italian restaurant and many good food choices on the menu highly recommend checking it out.
Great food and service. Nice addition to the dining options at red rock
I was hoping to write a good review. Unfortunately I cannot.
Went with friends to dinner August 30 Friday night. Room is lovely yet very noisy.
Off to a good start our server Adele was very nice and explained the menu.
2 minestrone soups both were cold. Sent back to reheat.
2 salads Caesar and chopped average.
1 so over cooked not edible sent back, the other done perfectly.
Veal Scallopini Parmesan. Was not scallopini. A cutlet with breading that was so soggy and unpleasant.
Hopefully they’ll get their act together. We had hope since Masso was so disappointing.
BTW. We thought the meal would be great since the owner of Station Casinos was dining their at the same time. The Chef spent the whole time at their table.
Maybe he should have been watching the kitchen.
