Great food at a great lo
Great ambience , good and limited options of mocktails , average food. They can certainly improve and have potential to provide great quality and tasty food.
The menu didn’t have classification of V, Gluten free etc so that improvement is also needed.
Wonderful place view and ambience…menu very limited, but food good. Cocktail I had was not well mixed but sent it back and the second one was better. Waitress very good friendly and helpful. Will go again
Food was very average. Mains were disappointing but starters were tasty. Ambience and view were gorgeous.
Venue is nice, service is good , but not so sure about value and food
Could be better
Very pleasant surroundings of course. Had the feeling we were being somewhat processed rather than welcomed as guests. I know previously there was lager on tap which always adds to the drinking experience.
Had a lovely time as always when we visit Oakley Court. Good food, friendly attentive staff and beautiful grounds.
Fantastic food, service, location and ambience as always.
I do find the menu a bit pricy, especially when eating with children, but, it is worth the money.
Always a wonderful meal and experience.
We had an excellent meal! Lovely staff, beautiful surroundings and the yummiest chocolate pudding I think I have ever eaten. Was a treat for my parents anniversary and they loved it! Thank you
The food was very nice ,but quite a limited menu ,great if your on a diet
The hotel and grounds are lovely and we had a lovely relaxing time with friendly staff. At no point we’re we rushed and we spent over 2 hours sat in the sunshine with some lovely food.
Excellent service! Great food! Friendly staff! Very nice property and we will be coming again soon!
We had booked a table outside for lunch, and when we arrived, we’re told that the rain had soaked all the tables and they couldn’t accommodate, although there was a conference having lunch and we’re all outside. When we questioned a second member of staff, they informed us that they had anticipated that half of the members of the conference would eat in and the other half would eat outside. So when they had ALL decided to eat outside, we were bumped to an indoor table… so reserving tables for the reservations was not adhered to, and after being questioned they realised that wet tables and bumping clients was not good practice. Eventually they made space and accommodated … not quite 5 star service.
Although the location is beautiful we were clearly second fiddle to the conference members despite the fact we booked a table weeks ago.
The menu for lunch was very poor and the side dishes limited. We couldn’t even get a bowl of french fries! This is a hotel after all.
However the service was excellent and we were looked after very well when the rain arrived.
A beautiful, stately building, set in stunning grounds but let down massively by the scruffy uniforms and inexperienced staff. The uniforms were a mixture of tatty T shirts, sweat shirts and hoodies on top and leggings on the bottoms. It was a bizarre experience where we were served by 16-18 year olds with little or no experience, dressed like they’d just finished a rowing work out. I’m guessing this venue is trying to go for a relaxed ambiance but it just ends up looking scruffy and without any attention to detail. This is in stark contrast to the decor, grounds and food which were all fabulous. It really feels like they have worked very hard to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. A bit of training and a complete rethink on the staff uniforms would have this place at an easy 5 stars, until then the best they can expect is a miserable 2 stars. Truly an epic and entirely unnecessary fail.
Very good experience. The server - Paulina was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back
Steak was tough….didn’t winge as it was our anniversary and wanted a nice vibe,
Would certainly go back as all the other good was spot on.
Beautiful location and great staff. The food was very disappointing, pizza was extremely dry and not very warm ! Such a shame. Also I know it’s a hotel and they are not offering draught beer due to changes in restrictions but over £5 for a bottle of beer which is just over half a pint!
Very friendly staff, food was ok, v pleasant experience overall
A wonderful setting and a lovely summertime menu. Perfect for a sunny day !
Amazing location, unusual and interesting menu, lovely staff and just a great lunch experience.
As always - stunning food and wonderful setting. Really great evening. We will be back soon for sure !!
Lovely setting overlooking the garden and river, somewhere to relax and enjoy a leisurely lunch. I was disappointed to see the pasta options taken off the menu (as per the website), however the pizza was delicious! Homemade, fresh with a fantastic crust. Service was helpful and friendly, just at times we had to chase/wait despite the restaurant being very quiet.
Over all it was excellent! Loved it!
Beautiful place. Excellent service. All staff were courteous and couldn’t do enough for you. We had a wonderful afternoon.
A lovely Fathers Day lunch outside on the beautiful terrace which benefits from large parasols with heaters.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Lots to choose from on the menu - presented well and delicious.
Good qualitu food. Good portions. Central London prices, but all goes into the food. Slightly informal menu. Staff are friendly and relaxed. Beautiful grounds. Shame weather meant indoor rather than outdoor sitting. Definitely will go back.
Was very disappointed as terrace was not open and we specifically booked for that. We were not told before hand as we would of gone elsewhere. The place was empty on a Friday night despite not being able to adjust our booking as they were so full.!! Very poorly lit and no atmosphere
Lovely terrace restaurant with marvelous views of the river and beautiful grounds and gardens of Oakley Court. Our 2-night stay in the hotel and our dinner on the Terrace was wonderful, and the hotel renovations and new decor throughout was lovely!
Wonderful setting, great food & waiting staff. Made to feel
Very comfortable although it was a damp wet day for out door dining.
Thought the menu was a little small…. But the choices we made were delicious. Will definitely return..:: 👏👏
Great venue, staff were excellent, food was spot on. Pricey enough to make it a treat and sadly not as regular as we’d like but no complaints whatsoever. Stunning location
beautiful setting very good service, the menu was a bit limited would have liked more options, the food we had was good.
Everything perfect will definitely go back. Lovely service
Everything is sooo good !! It was my second time and definitely will be going there soon again !
The overall ambience was great but the food lets it down.
The service team were very attentive and pleasant.
There was an event going on that seemed to delay service a little but all in a lovely afternoon.
The only negative was the lawn being mowed right up to the terrace at lunch which was an odd decision to do this when people were eating. This is something usually completed early or in between breakfast and lunch?
Good vibes! Greta food and atmosphere recommend fully
What an amazing experience. Food was wonderful and team made the day very memorable. Rafael, Michael and Katie were exceptional and i must say that the team there are absolute gems. Cannot wait to return.
Excellent food in a very quiet location, thank you to the hotel for the little surprise at the end of our meal to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary
Lovely food, very good service from the staff, especially when the heavens opened
