Terrain Café - Devon
月曜日 - 金曜日 10:00 - 10:45
The service was good but they just changed their menu to fall and it is so small and disappointing. Hopefully they bring back more of their staples that they are known for like steak frites and the chicken skewers and just have fall additions rather then changing the entire menu. Their drinks are great though, especially the margarita but it was honestly mostly ice so not worth the price. We ended up leaving after drinks and getting food elsewhere. We will definitely be back when their menu goes back to normal.
Brunch for the first time at this location. Corner table in the bar area by the kitchen door was not a quiet table as requested. and frankly we were freezing as it was a damp, rainy day. It was right outside the kitchen door which was very high traffic and not a nice view. T
he noise from the bar machines was annoying at best. There were empty tables in the greenhouse but they were not offered.
French toast was good, not great and had to flag down a server for maple syrup. Burrata flatbread was supposed to be toasted and it was ice cold. Asked to have it remade.
Given the price point and ambiance, a very disappointing experience.
My first time at Terrain and I will definitely be back. The restaurant is beautiful and the sound level very pleasant compared to other main line restaurants. They explained that they had a new menu with fall flavors. I had the maple chicken and it was delicious.
This place is a 10/10, a little on the high-end side but the experience and food is well worth it!
We loved the greenhouse like atmosphere and quiet ambiance. How cool that there’s also a garden and store! The food was healthy and delicious with a variety of seasonal items. Drinks were great too- I enjoyed my apple spice mimosa!
Everything was perfect. The chef was happy to accommodate my request for tomatoes to go with the burger even though they are out of season. They checked to see what was available and asked if cherry tomatoes were okay and they were delicious!
I loved everything except we sat near the fire pit and I smelled like smoke the rest of the day and had to send my clothes to the dry cleaner (oops!). Also, there were 5-6 bees buzzing around us while we ate 😬. Otherwise fabulous!
Loved the atmosphere and the service. Our waitress was very friendly and her timing was perfect. The only thing I was unhappy with was the price. For 3 delicious grilled cheese And 3 iced teas I thought $70.00 was too much.
Great night at Terrain even tho Open Table lost our reservation.
Overall great experience. This isn’t my first time at this location. Our waitress seemed to be in a hurry for us to leave the moment we arrived. Felt rushed and she took away our bread before we were finished (without asking). This was our first time having an even slightly negative experience. Any other time I’ve been here it’s always been extremely pleasant and lovely. I’m assuming it was either a bad day for our waitress or she was new.
Still would recommend to anyone though. Food is amazing and coffee drinks are delicious!
We were sat in the middle a foot from tables on either side, not exactly the ambience we prefer and will refuse that arrangement in the future.
All the staff so fab every time !
We had a beautiful cheese board platter that was instagram worthy and delicious !
Brooks is the best gem at terrains Devon !!
great to be in an old greenhouse with plants everywhere ..food was interesting and good - and wine was excellent!
Too many flies in the restaurant!
Great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff! Quality of the food and selection for a Saturday brunch was also high level. Definitely going back!
Harvest Bowl with Salmon was a bit dry and Salmon was over cooked though I requested med rare.
My son had the steak frites which he said was very good.
While I loved the food which was really good, the acoustics are just plain awful. All 5 of us decided we wouldn’t want to repeat the experience.
YES AND NO ....MY OMLETTE WAS WONDERFUL BUT THE BIRTHDAY GIRL HAD THE SMOKED SALMON WHICH SHE BASICALLY COULD NOT EAT....WAIT STAFF SEEMS A BIT DISORGANIZED . SURE I WOULD RECOMMEND IT BUT CUIDADO WHEN ORDERING....
Wonderful lunch menu . Great place to celebrate a friend’s birthday !
Second time I have been there when they don’t have ANY Sauvignon Blanc!
We will definitely be back!! Fabulous!!
We had a lovely dinner during our trip for Dressage at Devon. Couldn't have been more convenient.
My friend who has to be gluten free was thrilled with the attention and knoweldge of our server.
The decor and architecture are great. The water was warm and unfiltered. The food really was not very good. Third and last visit. None of us liked our soup or entrees very much. Food was oddly spiced and my jailhouse salmon was overcooked with oddly mismatched sides. The Italian restaurant next door is much, much better.
Meh... I was so excited to try this place, however I found the food boring and the service just ok. The design is nice and I enjoyed walking around the market place after lunch.
A beautiful, relaxing atmosphere for enjoying a delicious meal where you won’t feel rushed.
Service was Great, food was delicious and atmosphere is delightful.
The only thing I would change is to add more vegan options!
Great place for sister time!
Birthday celebration was enjoyed with special women friends
Gorgeous dining room and nice staff - great menu choices and the fresh baked bread in clay flowerpot with maple whipped butter was heavenly
I would not recommend this place for a dining experience. The service was VERY poor. There were so many misses so not sure where to begin. My recommendation is the wait staff go through a very extensive training program to deal with the public, menu, and learn how to provide an exceptional experience for the patrons.
Setting is amazing. The bread served in a pot is delicious. I had a salad with grilled peaches which was light and delightful. Truffle fries were amazing.
Out waitress was extremely rude and it took almost 2 hours to have dinner. The place was empty and our waitress went missing for 45 minutes. We’ve had many positive experiences before and the food was great but that server needs to find a different career path.
The food is ok, but the value isn’t really there. The environment is beautiful though
Very loud - would not come here if you want to talk to your brunch mates.
Service was terrible. Food was mediocre. But ambience was beautiful. I have been waiting to go there since it opened, glad we went but we will not be returning.
First time here and it was awesome.
I was underwhelmed. Beautiful atmosphere, sitting in a greenhouse surrounded by plants. Bread was served in a clay pot which was unique & cute. I ordered the scallops & my husband had the burger. The three scallops were served surrounded by chopped mushrooms and small potatoes, for $30. It was fine, but nothing special. Most annoying, other tables had ordered the same meal and I noticed they were given 4 scallops and larger portions. My husbands burger was served with fries for $18 and was good, but nothing that made it better than other burgers. We split the terrarium chocolate dessert. It was like a chocolate pudding, covered with crumbled chocolate cake, to give it the appearance of a plant. Again, nice display, but the taste was nothing special. Our final bill was $89 for two meals, one $6 beer, one $9 drink, one dessert & 2 coffees - I think it was overpriced for the quantity & quality, that was not a standout. Besides that, we were celebrating an anniversary and I noted it on the reservation, but it was not acknowledged - then why ask if it's a special occasion?
The absolute best thing about our first time at Terrain was our server Diandra! She was a delight! The food was good and the room was lovely. After our lunch we wandered around and got we a sneak peek at the event area which was set up for a wedding. It looked positively magical.
Service was HORRIBLE. We waited 17 minutes for our waitress and 10 more for water. Really disappointed.
