The 3 Brewers- Richmond Hill
Our waitress was very pleasant but it took forever to get our bill at the end of the meal. The food was ok. We had wings and the flat bread pizza which was pretty standard. The layout of the restaurant was very cool. If you are looking for a standard meal with some good beer, this place will do!
The place was good, servers were great and friendly, but the service was too slow. Nobody came up to ask for our order we had to remind them to take our order and food came on time and was good, but service was too too slow and nobody came to ask for our check unless we asked. A great place with very slow service
service was slow. found piece of plastic in food. 1 of the beers was completely flat and tasteless. service was too slow to even try to take beer back. atmosphere was great.
Good food and attentive service ... enjoyed the fish and chips and amber beer. We all shared 3 brewers appetizer and pretzel. Our friends enjoyed their food as well.
Excellent lunch on the patio!
I really like that you are an Ocean Wise partner and use paper products rather than plastic straws and plastic take out containers. Makes me want to return and recommend to other environmentally conscious friends. Well done!
It's never busy no matter when we go making it easy to get seating right away. Food is good not great and a little pricey for what you get. Portions are adequate.
Nice restaurant, service was good, lots of tv's if you want to watch sports there and lots of bar seats.
That night was my birthday's night ,So I invited my friend there . Grat beer, delicious food and also they brought me birthday's surprise. we enjoyed and we had lots of fun
Great food and wonderful atmosphere for lunch. With a reservation, there was no wait for a table and staff was very friendly.
Had great time watching raptors!! Food and atmosphere was great.
This was my 2nd visit. The whole experience ranged from bad to excellent. Starting with the seating arrangement. The place, around 6:00 pm was not busy. Still the young lady has tried to seat us, visibly senior citizens, on high chairs. It took some effort to get a regular table.
Moving on, the service was prompt and excellent during the whole dinner. The beer, the main reason for the visit, was again very good. Things did not turnout to be as good with the meals. My wife's Caponata salmon was very good. Unfortunately the fish & chips I had was really bad. The whole thing was under-cooked, especially the thick butter. Had it not been for the good beer and the outstanding server I would had returned the plate and save myself from upset stomach.
They ran out of food in the kitchen
The restaurant was fairly quiet for a Mother's Day, which should have been a warning sign.
There was no manager and no-one seemed to be in charge. There were alot of dirty tables. It took quite a while to be acknowledged and the service remained slow throughout.
Key menu items were not available (although we were not told this for at least 30 minutes after ordering!). There were alot of upset diners around us and one table left after not getting their food at all.
We could often hear the chef/cook shouting angrily in the kitchen, which did not add to the atmosphere. When the food came, it was just about OK. My dish was cold and so was my daughter's. Nothing special or unique at all. The in-house beer was OK. It took over an hour from when we sat down to when our food started to arrive and the place was not busy at all (but hey, at least we got ours!!).
Also, given the fact that it was Mother's Day, not even a welcome to my wife on this special day.
I am now not surprised at all that we could get a reservation on the day. This place is worth avoiding, especially with so much choice in the area. We left disappointed, especially as this was a MD treat.
Ordered Wings with their BBQ Beer - okay - advised of a kick but wasn't that hot - fair value. Wife ordered Chicken Sandwich - stated to waitress NO GREENS. Came piled high with greens - probably to account for the fact that there was barely any chicken breast. The onions and peppers - wife stated they tasted as if they were cooked in old oil and had a bit of a burnt charring - gave her a stomach ache after [very poor value]. I fared better with "The Enormous" burger of which I could not finish (1/2) - they don't state the patty size just 100% ... and there were two giant patties. I think I got my wife's value of chicken in the burger [great value]. We shared their brown ale. The beers are good - the food is lacking and menu can be a toss up. They used to have a good chicken (rotisserie or BBQ) then they changed that to something else (Maple or something) and now it is a Cajun chicken breast or similar -- which could go either way [read dry and ? flavor]. Turning into Pickle Barrel in a way - where they keep modifying the menu by replacing basic dishes "overly complex" dishes and you tend not to want anything other than say ... something you get at Swiss Chalet. (get it?? ... so why did I come here?)
To add insult to injury we have to chase down Open Table Reservation acknowledgements. I walk in and tell them I have a reservation (place is less than 1/2 full and maybe 1/2 full when we leave at 7pm) - they don't acknowledge the reservation. The "hostess" makes up some story - that THEY chose this table and WE chose that table that is why. We asked the waitress who did the work to acknowledge. I have emailed OT to advise them of this. Not singling out 3 Brewers as this has happened twice now at two different places. I have to wonder - that management WANTs OT reservations but doesn't want to pay the kickback for said reservations. Someone has to pay for the $10 credit after 10,000 reservations (sooner if bonus) so there has to be some kickback.
Great selections on the menu. I want to go back to try other items on the menu. They should have a drink menu. I couldn’t find the drink menu (except for beer).
Food was great however there were multiple mistakes with orders and lack of managerial leadership. Ordered appetizers with my friend, popcorn shrimp and Camembert dip. Popcorn shrimp was amazing however they served chips and salsa instead of the Camembert. When the kitchen took the chips back they re-ordered the Camembert 10 min later told us they did not have it in stock and we could pick any app and they would wipe our apps clean. We ordered the quesadillas which were great. When the bills came they not only charged us for the Chips+Salsa and did not clear the quesadillas when we told the server they only wiped the chips.
Overall food was great and I will 1000% come back I was just disappointed in the service.
This was okay but not great. There were 4 of us and no one would rave about the food. The mini hibachi s’mores were interesting. The lighting was weird. It made everything red and orange look so unnaturally bright. It seemed questionable to eat. The waiter assured us it was just the lighting.
Nothing extraordinary but everything was fine
It’s great beers and food, especially the fries. They gave us the table we requested and we all having good time.
Here to celebrate a birthday on Sat March 16. The restaurant was fully decorated in St Paddy’s day theme but unfortunately was not full despite the Leafs game. Food was ok. Salmon was a slightly overcooked despite asking for it not to be overcooked. The rib steak was tender but we ordered it to be rare in case it gets overcooked. It arrived as a medium rare towards medium. The pulled pork poutine was tasty but the pulled pork was a bit too chewy. The kids popcorn chicken was a very tiny meal. For dessert, we had the churros & the waffles. Both were super sweet.
The pictures were not the best quality due to the dim green lighting.
It was too loud to carry on a conversation, I was shouting during dinner
Server was friendly but restaurant was short staffed for a Friday night.
Good service, good and atmosphere
Not a bad place. Food was ok had the nachos. I have had better. It was a bit pricey. The beer was pretty good. A good selection but they did not have gluten free beer for my friend though that was a bit stanhe
Quite afternoon lunch for a business meeting. Service was friendly and appreciated they only attended to us when needed. Food and drink was good.
There was something in the menu for everyone. I had a nice steak and my vegan friend was satisfied as well.
This was our first time in your restaurant. we have been to many in that area. Products were all nicely presented and tasty. Service was somewhat indifferent. One of us asked for a Caesar in a tall glass, This was too difficult and we were told that it could not be accommodated. If the response had even been, "we can do that but a an up charge", it would have been fine. But it was an out and out no. "you can order two". Not so happy.
Everything was good! Service was good and good tasted good too! All and all a good experience!
We enjoyed our dinner it was delicious. Very happy!
Was absolutely terrible service. Waited 35 minutes for my sangria, and I had to ask twice. Gathered 20 of our family and friends for my boyfriends birthday, expecting he could let loose and try the beers. Well by the time our server actually got us he only had time for 3 beers for the few hours we were there. Would have easily spent an extra $100 in alcohol had she made the effort to ask us. Also, no one greeted us at the door when we came in I had to go and find one of the servers at the bar. Not coming back.
Had a new special on with duck leg but kitchen ran out of duck legs. Wife had a dish that was to have green beans and cherry tomatoes, neither came. When asked was given a dish of raw tomatoes and told they ran put of green beans as well. Not impressed.....
Unfortunately the food was less than desirable and the beer was worse .
We had a table of 15 everybody was not satisfied with either.
The server was very friendly though .
Food not very good. Too expensive for what we ordered. Will not return disappointed drove around to loook for parking for a long time, to sit down to a less than average meal.
Saturday night out with friends for dinner and drinks. Everything was great up until the point that the Leaf game ended (10:00). Then you started blasting dance music over the speakers. Dance music? You’re a brew pub/restaurant! Even our server said he gets lots of complaints about it. Kill the dance music guys. Stick to the sporting event (the late hockey game, baseball playoff game, anything). Or quieter neutral music.
Love to watch the leafs game there
Don’t think about ordering steak, it’s terrible. The server only delivered food with no service.
They don’t care if you have no more water.
Took them 15mins to get the bill and they took away your water glasses before the bill came.
However, the dessert Churro with ice cream is delicious.
Food was good, we ordered nachos, calamari and the dish with sausage and onions. The sausage and onions was by far the best food. Rest of the stuff was just ok. They have lots of different beers to choose from, they were really good. The service was great and the ambience is great but it’s loud. If u don’t mind a loud place then it’s good but if you want something quiet this is not the place. Music was great!
Service was good, food was fine, ambiance was good. Great place to go with friends
Enjoyed the experience!! Nice craft Beer and friendly Staff!!
