Excellent squid starter and fish and chips.. Really delicate batter. Great quality, will definitely be coming back soon.

I went for lunch with my daughter to celebrate 🎊 her birthday. It was spotless very safely spaced out tables The food was excellent and the price was too. We had a lovely time and enjoyed every mouthful.

Gorgeous setting. Haven't been here for a long time but friends recommended we come.
Special offer available Mon-Thurs, 2 courses for £10 and 3 courses for £13 which made it a very good deal.

Food delivered to wrong table and chips missing when did arrive! Hair found in one of dishes and still tried to charge for both people when all food left because our off by hair

Great value meal deal, suspect the shortfall is made up in the wine prices. Excellent waitress Harriett. Beautiful ambience and decor make it a go too place.

Although we did have to wait 35mins for our food, it was worth waiting for. We will definitely be back.

Very nice atmosphere, lovely staff and food was excellent. Service was quick and prices fair. Would fully recommend and will certainly be visiting again in the near future.

On arrival we were put into a corner, facing a wall/next to the cutlery. We asked to be moved to the next clear table to be told no it was booked for a table of 3...only 2 people were seated at the next tables.

We asked again to be moved which seemed to be an inconvenience too.

Food took too long, 35 minutes. We had ran out of drinks and had to ask for more as no one came over.

Over priced in relation to competition in the area, soft drinks massively over priced. £1.40 for some juice (soda water from the tap and some cordial!) And not even a pint.

When we were moved we had to clock watch as the main server said you have til 6:30. Our booking was at 5. Was originally seated at 5:10, order taken at 5:25. Then a 35 minute wait for food meant we felt rushed and couldn't enjoy it. Food was okay.

Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food, friendly staff and beautiful location. Couldn’t fault it!

We booked online after looking at the menu, which was not available on Fridays, but we enjoyed what we chose anyway.

Organised for all the regulations which are required currently and still attentive to customer needs in a safe environment 😁👍 food was terrific a proper pie if that’s what you like 👍and menus to suit Monday to Thursday with set two or three courses at a fixed price 😁👍 overall excellent well done Alma inn

Excellent menu and food. The staff, Andy and colleagues were, as always, attentive, polite and efficient. At all times we felt Covid secure and hope that we will still be able to dine at the Alma if harsher measures are imposed.

Food was reasonably good, although nothing extra special, however, it was hotel cold inside the Pub and when we left it actually felt warmer outside as it was a nice Autumn sunny day.
Was our first visit & thought the actual pub was very nice, but will certainly try it again.

Reliably Lovely food, with options for all the family, super outside space if you wish to linger after dining. great friendly service. Personally I prefer to eat in the pub part to the restaurant as it feels like a bit of a thoroughfare but still a very enjoyable experience. Keep up the great work !

We love the alma. They have really embraced the new normal with the outside space and we feel utterly comfortable rocking up with toddler and dog in tow for some hearty grub

The Alma is well organised with the current restrictions in place, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is very tasty. I marked the food down a star because on our last two visits my wife has had cous cous on her salad, despite requests when ordering to omit it. Easily changed of course, but shouldn't be necessary.

Went for Sunday Lunch for the first time. Got quickly to our table even with all Covid precautions. Staff were friendly and attentive, but not overly so. We both had the curried cauliflower soup which was fabulous, then had the chicken roast dinner, only minor gripe was there was no stuffing but otherwise everything was on point. We then took coffees outside to enjoy the fabulous views.

None of our party have never had frozen uncooked falafel served before. When we mentioned this we were told that ‘this is how we serve it’. Luckily, whereas we ordered 2 of the starters only one was delivered and then only after we prompted the waitress for it. We were told they had been forgotten.

The pizzas, when they came, had soggy bottoms.

Not a great experience.
