   Such a lovely setting for an evening get together - the decor is really lovely. Great cocktails and good food which came quickly, attentive staff despite the busy environment. Lovely outside space too though limited seating, recommend booking! Look forward to visiting again

   very nice Sunday roast, only thing spoiling our lunch was the restaurant was under staffed and wait time to order seemed to take ages. Food was good, the outside space is beautiful and will be amazing in summer.

   Second visit. Stumbled upon it the first time and managed to get a sneaky Sunday lunch with the hubby, outside in January which was amazing and warm enough. I organised a girls trip to London and wanted dinner on way back to train station. Booked The Arber Garden and hoped it lived up to the first time I went. Always feels a pressure if you are booking for a group. We had a fabulous meal with great service. All 5 of us loved our food and I was really pleased I’d chosen to come back here.     Fabulous place. A table for 2 alongside tables of 10 was a tad noisy and we had to ask for drinks a few times. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.

    Lovely interior. Menu looked good and fair prices based on location. One unfortunate waitress between at least two sections on a busy lunch shift was not enough, we waited a long time to be seen after sitting and waited a long time for food to arrive. Her service was decent and she coped well, but she was clearly spread too thin. Burgers were a little dry and overcooked, steak was cooked nicely. I would return but only if I'm not on a time limit and would wait for staffing issues to be addressed before recommending.

    Lovely restaurant and prices are good. Had a lot of errors with food coming out of the kitchen (sauce for starter just rocked up as an empty pot, wrong sauces with our mains, one of our mains didn’t have elements that the other did and steak got cooked wrong a couple of times). Felt disappointed for what we hoped would be a nice belated Valentines dinner

    Very disappointing main course. I ordered the cod which was supposed to be served with leeks. I received a nice piece of fish with sauce and a single small overbaked potatoe with it. I had that dish previously and it was not the same, like they served what they had remaining…. 24£ is def overprice for that.. Also Had to ask twice for our drinks because they forgot

    The service was too slow. We were 10 of us, arrived at 12.30pm but the starters came at 2.20pm, and the main course came at 3.10pm. Everything took too long even after taking our orders in first half an hour. The restaurant was not busy at all. The attendant disappeared for long time periods and left us alone. So we missed the refilling of water jugs. Only wines came at regular interval. The burgers were overcooked.

    We had never been there before but it was a wonderful place to have a birthday gathering. We had 14 people at table in the garden room and it was very comfortable. They kept track of everyone’s orders and the service was excellent.

    The beef croquettes and aquid were good starters, the croquettes definitely had the best flavour. Chicken on a brioche bun was spicy which my guest thoroughly enjoyed.

    We had to wait over 40 minutes for a cold starter and a soup, no bread, nothing. Had to inquire twice with the staff and it wasn’t until asking to speak to the manager that we discovered that they had simply forgotten about us even though we were the only table ordering food at the time. The food was incredible but the service left much to be desired.

    We booked the last dinner seating on Christmas Day for the Arber Garden’s Christmas Dinner 3 months in advance. I will preface this by saying I recognize the hospitality industry has been hard hit lately, and that this was Christmas Day, however, a restaurant choosing to open on Christmas Day should be better prepared. We arrived, were immediately seated, and it took 25 minutes to obtain service and water. Other tables were seated after us and received faster service. It was not until 45 minutes after being seated that we received our drinks. The Christmas Menu had four main dishes, and the four members of our party all ordered the turkey festive dish. The chef/management had not ordered sufficient food, because thirty minutes after ordering our meals, we were advised they were out of the turkey, and we had to choose other meals. Luckily, those meals came quickly, however, we saw at least two other tables get served Turkey after we were told none remained. We have assumed this was the result of the initial delay in serving our table. While the food was overall quite good, the service left much to be desired. Management did provide compensation for the lapse in service quality. This was not an 80 GBP per person meal.

    Booked for a family reunion of 9 for 9:30PM, beautiful decor and initial reaction was amazing. Shortly after being seated we was then told the kitchen is closing shortly and we would need to hurry and have all 9 orders of starters mains and desserts ready, which made the experience rushed having notice of the kitchen closing would of helped prior as the entire group would of been able to check the menu before seating. Staff also expressed to us that they did want to leave soon as they joked about work being a long day. It almost felt like we had to rush our food as we was forcing to stay which did make slot of the guests uncomfortable. The table being cleaned was the fastest service of the night. Also do not supply take away dishes for any food you may want to take home. Even with a bill of £492 and service charge included of £55 I did consider removing but I could not fault the quality of the food, it was perfect and presentation was also as amazing and our waitress was very helpful and polite. They should not of allowed a big table of 9 to book at a late time I’m thinking a daytime booking would prevent a lot of problems we occurred. Wouldn’t visit again.

    Really lovely lunch! I’d not heard of this restaurant before, and it’s a bit off the beaten track but it’s so lovely. Perfect service, not too in your face but very attentive. Food was lovely and some good vegi options. Will be back!

    Extremely disappointed with our visit to Arber garden. Upon arrival we were seated in a dark, cold corner and the table was not set. We were sat down for at least 20 minutes without being seen to by anyone. I finally had to get up and find a member of staff to ask for some menus and about 5 minutes later a waiter slammed down 3 menus in front of us in a huff without saying a word. The food took extremely long to come out and the red wine was served cold! We also asked for still and sparkling bottled water but were brought filtered tap water instead which we were going to get charged for had we not said we will not be drinking it. The food was not bad and I appreciate the restaurant was busy and perhaps under staffed but had they been a little more friendly and attentive, the slow service would have been more forgivable. Sadly we will not be making a return.

    I cannot fault the food, and the service. The Table by the front door as you enter, is extremely cold in the winter time. We did ask for the door on the right to be locked - leaving the large door on the left to be used for in and out, but was told it could not be locked. We ate in the cold and had to put our coats on for desert.... I would only recommend this restaurant in the summertime.

    A surprisingly good experience on the ground floor of an office building in Fitzrovia. Unambitious menu, but really well cooked food with premium ingredients. We went there for a family meal and everyone found something they liked. The service is friendly without being particularly efficient, but we weren't kept waiting at any stage, which I hate. There are lots of rooms in the restaurant, which gives you the sense that lots is going on, a party vibe.
