Dan was our server and he was extremely attentive ... awesome experience and great food. Definitely get the cheesecake for dessert ... delicious!

Our 3rd visit within the past 6 months. Mostly “bar type” food, but done well. Nice presentation, tasty dishes. Energetic vibe in the room adjoining the brewing area. Overall ambiance pleasing. A bit pricey however, as our early dinner tab ($03 for a side salad, short rib entree, and Fish& Chips + 2 drinks total see bton the high id.

We enjoyed our experience. The food and service was good. We were disappointed that they didn't have the Bronzino Friday night special advertised on the site but we enjoyed what we ordered. Covid protocols were satisfactory.

Meals were uninspiring and advertised drink specials were only for the bar area, which was a bait and switch. Overall, I thought it was overpriced and underwhelming.

Food and service good. Food delivery very slow after order. Not in a hurry, so did not matter this time.

First time we have been there. Really enjoyed the clam chowder and pizza.

Highly recommend the muscles. So savory! Our server Sue was great and attentive. Only disappointment was the key lime pie we had for dessert which tasted like freezer. For a brewpub with such a fantastic dinner menu the dessert options felt meager and lacked the same creativity. Maybe an extension of the beer pairing suggestions of the main menu like IPA paired with carrot cake? Or a beer float? Just a thought!

Avalon Brew Pub was nice, fun atmosphere. Good selection of drinks, wine and beer on tap.

Great food, and great service. The Avalon Burger is great, but i wish the onions were cooked and crispy like i think they originally were. Sue is great. A nice place to go with friends, as we often do.

I thought I signed up for indoor dining...we were sat in a large tent w a large window open so it was cold. This was considered outdoor dining. There were heaters at the ceiling but they were up very high & did not feel the heat.
Food took forever to come out but waitress comped 2 beers & said she was going to bring 2 more out as we were a party of 4 but the latter 2 never came out. It took almost 3 hours for our dinner from start to finish.

Pandemic wise, the actual restaurant seemed pretty full to us but they have another space that they have turned into dining with heaters and sides so we sat out there. I felt more comfortable out there. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was on top of everything. My husband had a steak that was very good. It was cooked perfectly but his potatoes were cold, so he didn't eat them. Overall it was a nice experience. We enjoyed the brews

Wonderful food, large portions, excellent service, beautiful establishment. A bit pricey, and the mixed drinks weren’t great. But I’d go again.

Wasn’t my favorite three out of 4 entrees incorrectly came to table . Waitress was great . The outside seating felt like an afterthought . Didn’t love the meal. All around no go !

Amazing food, my boyfriend and I both got the Chef’s Burger and it was fantastic. We were kind of disappointed because they didn’t have the pretzel or lava cake, but our server recommended the dumplings. They were to die for! We will be coming back as soon as we are in the area again!

Went there for Valentines Day..We got there just before 6pm and when we were seated our waitress informed us they were out of 2 apps and 2 entrees. She took our app order and didn't come back to the table until we were just about finished our apps. I over heard her telling the table next to us they just ran out of another app. When she finally came back we placed our order and she returns to tell us they just ran out of the entree I wanted. So I just had a sandwich. We have been there before and enjoyed ourselves, I couldn't believe they ran out of so much food 3hrs before the kitchen even closed.

Food was good and service was great, considering it was a busy Valentines Day. However...INSTANT MASHED POTATOES?? Really? They threw in a couple chives to try and mask it, but they used Instant mashed potatoes. So, I get a wonderful $38 strip steak, nice veggies and INSTANT MASHED POTATOES. What an awful, cheap, and greedy way to present a meal. They did use an ice cream scooper to scoop the taters, yay! I'd like to know why they would do this. BTW, there is absolutely no question that they were instant. Everyone in the restaurant knew that day. Is there a potato shortage in Avalon? The great potato famine was over in 1849. Note to management: Cut the crap.

Table was ready on time, waitress was great, drinks were made well, food was absolutely delicious. Will be back.

We were initially thrilled to get a reservation here. When we arrived at 5:45 the dining room was about 25-30% occupied. Very nice, warm ambiance. When we told the hostess we were here for our reservation they placed us outside in their tented area. It was very cold, heaters were on, and so were the ceiling fans. The plastic for the outside 'windows' wasn't pulled down all the way and perhaps so because of the need for propane air circulation. When I asked for us to be moved inside, because there was plenty of room, I was told that 'we asked for outdoor dining'. There was snow on the ground, the weather had been brutal. I said I absolutely did not ask for outdoor dining. I said the main dining area wasn't full and asked to be placed inside as we had three children with us. We were all cold. They said they had many reservations and couldn't do it. I asked for the manager. Angela, the young manager, was brought over. We received several excuses why we couldn't be placed inside which was ridiculous. I was angry and told her so. Her response was, 'well I was going to send over a free appetizer'. I told her not to bother. The food was decent, but the entire experience was frustrating and unenjoyable. A complete waste of $400. The restaurant seemed understaffed and it was challenging to get our waitresses attention. My daughter's order was never taken. We had to track the waitress down to place her order. Surprisingly, her burger came out first and about 10 minutes later we got our meal. One of our appetizers came with the main meal. SO frustrating and absolutely no console from the restaurant or manager. If I was management her I'd rethink their staffing, reservations, conflict management/resolution and customer satisfaction. We've dined here before in the winter so this was a complete disappointment.
