A 2026 James Beard Finalist for Best Chef Southeast, Chef Dave Willocks' flagship restaurant, Baker's Table, serves a monthly-changing Six Course tasting menu that is inspired by a passion for local produce, fresh pasta, and handmade sourdough.

The tasting menu can be accompanied by an optional Four Course Wine or Spirit-Free pairing to perfectly compliment your meal. Wines by the glass and bottle, and a craft cocktail list are also available.

This was a bad experience. We like restaurants and I have been reading the hype for 2 years so we tried it. Disappointing to say the very most. Food was anemic and service was cardboard, boarding on rude. I would give this place 2 more years at best, because I can't imagine they are getting return visits. I left a normal tip, but only because 'that's what i do'. If I had it to do over, probably about $0.04.

Update- October 2026. We did, indeed, dine every month since Nov. 2025. Our excitement for this place after a year is the same as it was on our first visit. We love the seasonal dishes Chef does every month. The two of us still order one of everything on the menu, and rarely does a dish not line up with our tastes. We have noticed that the amount of food in each dish has decreased over the year, which is not surprising given the increasing price of food. But we still feel it is worth it November 2025 -This place is fantastic! From the food to the atmosphere to the service to the staff to the music to the bathrooms. As foodies, I can't believe it took us so long to dine here (most likely because we live in West Chester and this place is in Newport). However, after the meal we had, we will be coming every month to taste Chef Dave's changing menus and drink some of the unique wines that Ryan has curated. Or to have another lovely cocktail that Jake made so well.

Amazing meal. Every course great. Wine pairings elevated an already incredible experience. The staff was knowledgeable and worked together well. Highly recommend

This was our second time dinning at Baker's Table and it was so delicious! Love the changing menu so each time you go is a different experience. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and headed to a show afterwards. They were very helpful in making sure we got out in plenty of time to get to our show while still providing wonderful service and an amazing meal. The staff works so well together. With multiple courses, we were impressed with how seamlessly they worked in unison. We will definitely be back to try a new menu of dishes!

Wonderful food, excellent service. Best gluten free pasta I’ve ever hand. Wine pairings were perfect and Dave explained each one without making one feel inadequate. Definitely the place for a special event.

Among the four of us, we ate everything offered on the tasting menu. All were excellent. So good that the very loud couples who sat next to us did not spoil the evening.
