If you’re chasing the best views in Boston, look no further! Located atop of the Prudential Tower, View Boston features breathtaking views of the city and an unforgettable Bostonian experience. Tickets to View Boston are required to access The Beacon. Guests are encouraged to book a prepaid experience, which includes a priority admission ticket. Please note, if you have booked an a la carte reservation, you will need to purchase an admission ticket to go up.
Please also be aware that the time of your reservation is the time to be at the restaurant, but you may enter View Boston at any point before the time of your reservation!

The view is beautiful but the restaurant is not much better than Applebee's. The service was fair. We ordered some drinks and they were out of the two types of beers I first ordered. The selection was small to begin with. The menu in general is very limited and expensive for what it is. It's incredible boring and uninspired. In general the restaurant is not nearly worth the cost to eat there. Keep in mind that just to walk through the door you must pay $35 per person to go up the elevator.

Delicious options, and with a member of our party having a gluten restriction, the waiter was so helpful in helping to find a solution, which ended up being ordering a menu item that was not marked as gluten-free, but was able to be gluten-free by the removal of an ingredient. Made all those at the table very happy to see. It was also a birthday dinner, which was noted during reservation, and we arrived to see a birthday card on the table! A small, but appreciated, touch that made the night a bit more special.

The view from the hallways is just as good. And the food options weren’t great. The pretzel bites and beer cheese weren’t edible. The prime rib beef sandwich with Au jus was not bad, but value wasn’t there, and getting in and out of the building is ridiculous

The whole Boston View experience is an integral part of dining at the Beacon. We had a sunny afternoon with unlimited visibility so the viewing part was grand. Our meal was excellent - the burrata salad was outstanding and the charcuterie board was imaginative and delicious. They were out of halibut but the chicken replacement was moist and flavorful. The only disappointment was the short rib which was dry and pretty stringy. But the dessert was a showstopper! We had the beignets with chocolate and caramel dipping sauces and they were wonderful! The cocktails were exceptionally creative and the wine didn’t disappoint. Can highly recommend this marvelous addition to the Boston dining options.

Great place that I took my wife to for our 12th anniversary. Great drinks, food, dessert, servers, ambience, atmosphere, and views!! Make sure you get a window seat!! Just amazing experience!

The biggest complaint is that I was never informed that I needed a View ticket to dine at the Beacon. I had made my reservation for 2 through their website/OpenTable and was never informed about the need for tickets. When I arrived I was informed I needed to buy 2 tickets totaling $40.- to be able to go up to the restaurant. That is false advertising and not worth it if you are only going up to eat in the Beacon

The food was absolutely wonderful! The service was fine that atmosphere was fantastic. Wine was good and the price was relative to the venue. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants an impressive meal.

Hate to do this, but I can’t recommend this place in good conscious. The experience outside of the food was amazing. Loved taking in the views from atop of the Pru. Truly beautiful and well done. The food was awful. The only plant based option on the menu was the guilt free bowl. Fine. But it was so bad. Canned beans, weird sauce, half cooked potatoes. The pretzel bites were ok but nothing special. My husband said the lobster roll was ok. Got sorbet for dessert and it came with a waffle that was tasty but microwaved. I still say it’s worth the visit but skip the pre-fixed meal. Go for an app and drinks (if that’s an option) or visit the bar downstairs. I wouldn’t have minded spending the $250 on a solid entree and drinks. But not on a half baked app, entree dessert and drinks. Our server was lovely.

A real surprise - The spirit free package we chose surprised us. Hearing shareable we all were thinking we'd get some cheese and crackers and some other small portions to share - little were we prepared for appetizers, main course and dessert all included in the ticket a very good deal. Worth every penny. Food was increidble that's all we 4 talked about. How good the food was, the atmosphere and the overall view at view Boston

I feel like this package was a really good deal for the price. The cocktails were top notch - I had a tea based gin cocktail and my husband had his usual old fashioned and both the cocktails were made to perfection. The food was really good as well, the desserts were okay and that’s where I see some room for improvement. The view of course was stunning from the restaurant and I love that most tables are by the window so it was a lovely experience overall. I’d highly recommend it!

This was worthwhile, for the view. Food was overpriced and just okay. The hostess tried to sit us in the center when there was a table with a view available. She moved us when I asked, but come on. Overall fine. I’d write in comments that you want a table with a view.

Absolutely loved our experience at this restaurant. The food waaaay more than I expected. They exceeded my expectation with the food and also the service. The view while you dine is mesmerizing. 100% recommend opting to dine here especially because it includes entry ticket.

I assisted my son in booking the Beacon and View experience to ask his lady to marry him!!! We asked for window table checked, we hoped to receive a unforgettable moment for them checked. The view of Boston , the food and drinks was beyond his expectations. They even met the actors from Breaking Bad who gave them wedding advice and a sample from their new liquor enterprise. Thank you for making a young couple special night memorable.

Don't mind the negative reviews, which reflect growing pains for a place that just opened up in June. My wife and I ate at The Beacon in October 2023, about 4 months after opening, and the whole experience was honestly great. We had the Bistro package, which includes (for each person) a ticket to View Boston (would not recommend paying for the View Boston experience on its own, a bit underwhelming for the standalone price), two alcoholic drinks, an appetizer, an entree and a dessert. They did not skimp on the drinks, which were strong and filled high. For appetizers, we had the burrata and charcuterie board, which were honestly excellent. My wife is born-and-raised Italian, and she said it was the best she's had in America (I wonder if they source from Eataly on the ground floor). For entrees we had the short rib, which was good (not great), and the orecchiette pasta, which was OK (the sauce was bland, needed salt; would have been better served with the fantastic pesto that came with the burrata). The desserts were also good but not great. We had the gelato of the day (mint chocolate chip), which was the typical artificial green color, and the butterscotch pudding, which was no better than store-bought pudding. We left well fed, boozed up, and satisfied. The experience was good and worth the money. Would definitely recommend for a nice night out.

We ordered all the starters (a little overkill on the olives) but we couldn't get enough of the burrata cheese plate. The main dishes (chicken, short rib, halibet are pretty average and the lobster roll lacks that overstuffed New England style lobster meat - but we'd order it again. Chocolate beignets with chocolate and caramel sauces are divine! If you like mint, you must try the mint chocolate chip gelato.
