The Beam Yard at Steel Club
Daphne took excellent care of us. We were there on a first date and I wanted everything to be just right. Daphne made that happen. We had a wonderful experience.
Great atmosphere and outstanding salmon special that evening.
We really enjoy eating at the Beam Yard. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is wonderful. The staff is awesome. We have become dine members because we enjoy it so much.
Food was good and service OK. Brownie sundae took awhile to be served and the ice cream was mostly melted. All in all we'll be back. Sure is better than my club, Oak Hill. Wish I could afford The Steel Club, but no senior membership packages.
Food and service was great and so was entertainment!
Great meal as usual. Our only negative was we needed to move from our table to a table in the back of the restaurant. We were originally seated next to a table with very unmannerly, loud and disrespectful children. Both parents and grandparents were ignoring their yelling and did nothing to quiet them. Made it very unpleasant for the rest of the patrons. It's not the restaurant staffs' fault, however, if I were the manager of the restaurant I would have definitely spoken to the parents and asked them to ask their children to quiet their voices and not run around. But that is not the world we live in unfortunately.
Waitress seemed rushed and annoyed with us when placing the order...like she didn't have time for us. The dinners there are not cheap, by any means, feeling as though we should be treated with a bit more respect.
The food and service were fabulous! They have also done an outstanding job remodeling the entire club. We were very pleasantly surprised as to how good the overall experience was. We will definitely be back.
This was a great place to eat! Food and drinks were fantastic.
Not a fan of fixed menus. Lobster tails were over done. Steak was good but thin. Will return to try the regular menu.
The restaurant is beautiful. Our service was the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered a bottle of wine and the waitress uncorked it and just set it on the table. We had to flag her dow several times. I even told the manager about our service. The worst part is that the tip was already baked into our bill.
Our food was mediocre at best. The shrimp bisque was horrible. My steak was sizzler quality at best. The lobster was rubbery.
Great food. Great service. Our server,Daphne was very friendly and informative. Service was timely and we never felt rushed through the meal. We definitely will return. Only concern was that handicap access from the parking lot was not clearly marked.
Fun time great service. Great value with upscale ambiance. You have to try it..
The food was excellent as always and the atmosphere is nice too. The beam yard was noisy because of the music but we were far enough away to still have a conversation at the dinnee table. Only disappointment is they no longer offer a dinner salad along with the dinner. It has to be ordered separately. I don't believe the cost of a side salad adds that much to the cost of a dinner.
Good food but pricey. Only go occasionally. Can get noisy.
The food and drinks were very good! The waitress Daphne was fantastic!
I felt the food was mediocre at best. Certainly nothing I couldn’t have done at home. Portions were small. The morning tea selection was non existent. The coffee was good. When dining I expect to have an experience which is memorable and worth the price. This was not. My $55.00 breakfast was a waste of my money. Live and learn. I won’t be back.
Great menu selection. Our server,Ryan, was very attentive and personable. It was noisy when we first got there due to banging (maybe dancing) on the 2nd floor
Enjoyed the service which I think was exceptional from the time we arrived
Bar staff n table service was First Class n make return visit a must.
Food was good but not exceptional for the price n portions.
Congratulations was in order to the SV Wrestlers but kids under 21 don’t belong sitting at the bar.
Service very very slow. Almost 45 minutes to get entree's. We had a group of 8. Our waitress never came over to tell us there was a backlog in the kitchen. There was a good crowd, but I do not think it warranted a 45 min wait.
I had the Vegan Scallops. Menu says with Sweet Potato Hash. It was more like a tablespoon of 1/16" diced squares of Sweet potato. Hardly visible on plate, a little under each of 4 Tofu Scallops. Two others got the real Scallops. $30 for 4 scallops and a tablespoon of Sweet Potato Hash. On the skimpy side in my mind. They could throw some vegetables on the plate.
the server suggested to my Wife, no one else, that her Salmon does not come with any garnish so she ordered Asparagus. Not on the menu, have no idea what we were charged but she got 3 very small spears of Asparagus.
In the end Skimpy is my word for the food vs cost.
Will go back in Summer to see what outside seating is like.
Excellent food, excellent service(Ryan), wonderful family lunch celebration!!😎🌴
Welcoming staff. Good food and service
As always, great food and great service! Our server Daphne was fantastic- friendly, professional, and fun!
I had a very unique antelope speciel which very different and very tasty.
Great food and service to match. The music entertainment was fantastic. Highly recommend
Our first time there. Very pleasant. We will be back.
We were members of the steel club when it was silver creek. Even though we agree with a lot of the changes that have happened around the club, the dinning experience needs to be improved. The cost of the food out weighs the quality of the food. Before a dinner salad or soup was included with the entree now it is a separate expense. It seems the management is trying to make up for loss of revenue on the rest of the club with the dinning experience.
Very nice atmosphere, food was very good and the portions were nice in size. Will be heading back!
Good place for good bar food and some better entrees and most enjoyable if you get there on a quiet night, but I don't think there are any of those.
Tried the Beam Yard for the first time during Restaurant week and thought it was fabulous down to the dessert! The ambiance was very nice except a bit noisy from the bar end, glad we ate in the dining area. Our waiter was outstanding and very knowlegable of the food selections which helped us make the right choice. I would definitely go back and would also love to try their Sunday brunch.
We have always had a good experience and great food at The Beamyard.
The service was excellent. Three of our four meals were excellent. The mussels that my husband ordered were too spicy for his taste.
1.My salad came out without the chicken. My Chicken was on was on my friend’s salad. Waitress asked me to transfer chicken to my plate. If she noticed the mistake, it should have been taken back to correct. Meals are pricey and portions are small. Yet, tasty.
2. Another friend ordered a soft omelette, not dry. It came out very dry. When the replacement arrived, the omelette was almost half the size. Was only a two egg omelette instead of three egg. So I have mixed opinions.
3. Prices are high and portion are small
Always an enjoyable time at the BeamYard! Never had a bad meal and love the rotating beer list!
Enjoyed the location. My husband and I were married at The Steel Club almost 40 years ago. It was exciting to return. It did not let us down!
Great food, good service.
A bit noisy when it is busy.
Great service. Great food.
We ate in the bar and it was loud...no carpeting or curtains to break up the noise. Service excellent and food good. Great free entertainment on Thursday nights.
We found The Beam and The Steel Club through a Bethlehem restaurant search on Open Table. We actually booked at a different restaurant that miss-handled our reservation. We were left high and dry but I remembered the write up for The Beam and booked it immediately online. We arrived to a prestigious white building that was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We were immediately seated in a very comfortable “club” styled bar and dining room. Our server greeted us and was a very knowledge guide with not only the diverse menu but the beer and wine lists as well. He provided tastes with both a lager and Pinot Noir. He was right on after he carefully listened to our tastes and preferences. The special swordfish was one of best I’ve ever had served at a restaurant. The crab cakes were their equal as was the linguini and lamb ragout. Others had bar menu items which they thoroughly enjoyed as well. We’ll be back soon with friends.
