I like the Arms. I traveled from Cambridge to meet for lunch. Due to covid we had to sit outside hence the ambiance score.
I did find it a tad pricey at £28 for a steak and chips with no vegetables. It was a very good rib eye though

Best around for miles

Lovely pub and excellent quality food. Slightly pricey, but that's what you pay for quality.

Challenging times for restaurants, but the Belgian seems to have it covered. Reception was slick, QR scanning and checked we were from the same household, then straight to the table, which wee all nicely spaced - all in all, quite a civilised evening despite the circumstances.
Ambience was minimally more subdued than normal, but there was a nice buzz about the place.
Top job by Chris in keeping us fed, watered and entertained, so no complaints whatsoever.
Can’t wait until it’s back to normal and even more enjoyable. Would strongly recommend, but book early - its popularity is growing by the day.

Had an excellent lunch, the steak was excellent and paired well with the house red. The service was attentive and polite. Would go again.

Fantastic setting for a wonderful meal. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, good wine, good food and overall an amazing pub. We can't wait to come back next year when will be able to enjoy a glass of wine with friends and family.

Amazing all round! Arguably one of the best Sunday roast meal we've ever had!
Quality of the food, service, ambience was just perfect. We brought our baby and little dog, all very welcomed. We'll be back again for sure.

Fantastic in every sphere.

Really wonderful first visit after lockdown. Service was very friendly, already prepared kids colouring before we arrived, and quick food service too, with appropriate number of checks to see how we were doing. Nice seats by the fire and even in socially distanced mode it felt very relaxed. Would definitely recommend.

Went with family for last pre lockdown 2 meal. As always our local had a great atmosphere, great food and wine backed up by great service. We haven’t been going out as much this year, but when we have this is our first choice !

Excellent lunch, great service, beef Wellington was superb, real ale very good.

Good quality gastro pub food, very enjoyable and good value.

Overall a very good meal and service, helpful staff although a little bit rushed as the "kitchen was due to close" soon after our booking time of 14:30. The restaurant was quiet and lacked atmosphere, again due to the time but no complaints; our Granddaughter created noise, atmosphere and comedy!

We'll be back when we are allowed!

Just wanted somewhere not too far from home and found The Belgian Arms on OpenTable; what a find it was.
Very clean, tidy and well presented establishment.
From walking through the door, and negotiating the efficient COVID-19 precautions, being shown to the table and the initial drinks order everything was perfect.
The menu choice was good and I now want to go back and try some other items soon.
The food was exactly as described by the servers and on the menu. Taste was perfect from the soup starter and the crab & salmon starter through the fish main course and the burger. Didn’t have desert but there was plenty of good choice.
Coffee and payment was relaxed and a thoroughly good evening was had by both of us; going again as soon as diary dates allow!

Was slightly disappointed with menu when we arrived , had Seabass on previous visit which was wonderful ..... but the Beef Wellington we shared was superb ..... the Covid restriction were observed ... well pleased

1st thing, COVID measures in place, hand sanitiser and QR code to check in at the door.
Tables spaced out and place still felt welcoming.
Good menu selection; starters of chicken liver parfait and crab/salmon very tasty.
We shared the beef Wellington main which was very well presented and was delicious.
Deserts followed with a cheese course and panacotta with figs rounded things off nicely.
I’ve been here a couple of times pre pandemic and the food quality if anything seems to have gone up, and the service and experience wasn’t adversely affected by the rules/times we’re living in.
