The Bistro & Wine Bar at Mirbeau Inn and Spa

We love the Mirbeau Bistro! Been here a few times now and we’re never disappointed. The atmosphere is elegant, the food is amazing and the staff is top notch!

Besides not having our reservation and having to request to speak to a manager the experience was excellent. They nearly sent us away despite a completely empty dining room because they couldn’t locate our reservation. I would call and confirm with the restaurant next time. Otherwise excellent. Food and service above what I expected.

I don't know how this establishment escaped our attention until now. I saw it on OpenTable and it caught my eye. We had dinner there on Valentine's Day and it was a great experience. The food was top shelf. Interesting menu and prepared perfectly. I had the duck and my wife had scallops. Both were well presented. The service was good considering that they had a full house. So many of the places that we visit are a "been there, done that" but this is one that we'll go back to.

Excellent food but to high priced for what you get

My wife and I had never been to The Bistro and Wine Bar before. We had dinner at a very comfortable table for two in a warm and welcoming room of about twenty tables with a good fire in the fireplace. We liked everything about the restaurant and then some -- the ambiance, menu, service -- all superb! Oversized popovers were served while we waited for our entrees and they were outstanding!! My wife had an excellent salad and a combination duck and chicken as her main course and I had filet minon and scallops, each meal accompanied by a fine wine from a very respectable list of choices. The food was delicious, our server, Chris, very efficient, enthusiastic, friendly and polite. We had early evening seating when the room was relatively empty but by the time we finished every table was occupied. Clearly this restaurant is well known and popular and we certainly plan to return. We would definitely recommend it to others.

We decided to have a Valentines Day meal early. Everything was delicious from the French onion soup to the surf and turf that was done perfectly. Chris and Trevor did their jobs really well.

Fabulous dinner by the fire. Our first time but definitely not the last. The oysters were fabulous and burger a perfect pink medium rare.

We had a wonderful waitress: friendly, informative but not intrusive. The food was delicious (I had salmon and my husband had scallops). Both meals were just enough with popovers, appetizer and dessert. Atmosphere was pleasant but maybe felt a little close to other diners although we had not trouble conversing. There as a function going on and that noise did carry into the dining room.

This was our first time here for our 34 th Anniversary. The whole experience was amazing and delicious. Chris sat us at a perfect table in front of the fire place. Our waiter Trevor was great as well as Sarah who greeted us. The French onion soup was delicious as well as my husband’s bean soup special. We both had surf and turf. The lobster tail on top of the most delicious filet mignonette, asparagus and beurnaise sauce was delicious. We were surprised with a glass of champagne 🍾 as well as the most decadent and yummy dessert! Thank you all especially Chris! 💜

The food was very good. I had the surf and turf and my wife had the scallops. The filet and scallops were excellent but the lobster was a little chewy and the risotto lacked flavor.

A very nice evening at the Bistro. Our evening was made much better due to our server, Karen. The restaurant was not busy and she spent just the right amount of time with us.
Our food included a Carpaccio and Tartare of Beef, baked Plymouth Rock Oysters, Halibut and perfectly cooked Scallops. Wine pours were very nice, a good pour for the price.
Make sure that you dine on the outside Terrace if the weather is pleasant.

Our reservation we made on Open Table did not come through on their reservation system. They apologized and we were seated outside at a wonderful table! Our waitress Megan was outstanding as was the food and service!

Everything was fantastic! From greeting through dessert and coffee.

Just one more beautiful time at Krebs… Not only did they remember our table that we loved near Christmas… But we had our lovely server Hope.,, who we’ve had the last few times. The Krebs has a beautiful attention to detail. They remembered our favorite table... our love for oysters ... lol... everything was truly special. Not to mention, Hope gave us a discount card for their new restaurant.. Elephant and the Dove... which we canceled resy’s elsewhere so we could give it a try.!! Fabulous! Cannot wait to go back ... and I’ve “spread the word” so ... be prepared. Thank you Krebs for yet another memorable weekend in my favorite town.🥰

Wonderful wine selection. Fresh pasta with chunks of lobster was abundant and delicious. Seated outside overlooking the beautiful Monet inspired garden. Service was impeccable.

Very pricey but certainly worth it given the excellent food quality, presentation and service. We'd certainly dine there again for a birthday or anniversary celebration.

The crab beignets appetizer had very little crab and the filling tasted mostly like mashed potatoes. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere.

Food was spot on & Service was what you expect at an upscale Bistro. The unfortunate part was an entitled young lady yelling during our entire meal as if she were drinking in her own home. It was all we could do to have our own conversation and try to block her incredibly loud voice out which she was obnoxiously oblivious to. While at the bar after dinner speaking to others it was universally agreed this woman was clueless, the Restaurant Manager Really could’ve politely asked her to BE QUIET as My wife and AI weren’t the only ones suffering from headaches listening to her self involved rant.

Our waitress Nancy was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable with the menu. Food was very good, pricey so I would recommend for a special occasion.
