Very busy Monday night. We had 4 people waiting on us. Never knew who our “server” was. They forgot our oysters. One person came judt as our salad was served and said our mains were ready under the heat lamps. Needless to say they were soggy and luke warm. Big disappointment as we loved Rendezvous. On plus side, they gave us a 30% discount and offered comp dessert. Didn’t accept. Wanted to leave.

Not as good as in the past. They ran out of bread before our 7:30 reservation. We got charcuterie which was excellent except they only provided 4 small crackers for a shared plate of spreads? Mains were 45 minute (unexplained) wait after salad, and the sauce sort of overwhelmed the proteins rather than contemplating. At 250$ for 2 people without a bottle of wine, not a great value, at least on this night.

We waited 15 minutes for our waiter to arrive. He was cocky and unapologetic, but recovered over the course of the evening. The bar is not great; the mixologist didn't know how to make our drinks, so we improvised. The food was good, but not spectacular. We come here regularly and will continue to do so, but we'll spend a lot less money next time.

We were 8 in our party. None of us found the food particularly good. We had the dover sole, the steak frits, the ricotta clouds, the cesar salad (which just tasted to lettuce). They were just ok. Service was not good. We received the food before the drinks. Due to a special diet, I had to requested a simple substitution in my sole and they got confused and nobody in the table got the sole the right way.

We were only in Jackson for 3 days and went to The Bistro on the last night in town. Big Mistake!! We loved the Bistro and wished we had of been able to go every night. The food was outstanding and we loved the outdoor seating. Do not make the same mistake we made! Go on your first night and you will not be looking where else to go the rest of your trip.

The pork chop and mahi mahi were both very good. The brownie ice cream dessert is delicious. Server was very pleasant and attentive. Great bartender!

This is a very nice place, very busy and a bit noisy. Overall the food was good however they appear to still be somewhat understaffed for the number of diners they are accommodating. Would definitely return again

We were greeted by both the front desk and manager on duty. We were promptly seated even though I was early for my reservation, whoops! The food was incredible. Started with the puff pastry, ahi tuna, and escargot. The escargot could have been my main as it was super garlicky, hot and delicious. The party ordered all different entrees... lamb, duck, steak frites and the sole. All impeccable. Steak frites was probably the most popular. I don't know how in god's name we had room for dessert but we did it! Bread pudding, creme brulee and the white chocolate mousse. The service was fantastic, restaurant clean, ambience was beautiful and the food was the star, as it should be. Thank you and I look forward to returning!

Normally this is one of our favorite and most visited restaurant in Jackson. Had to be an off night. We waited a half hour past our reservation time for our table, the food was not up to par. There was 3 of us and no one was happy with their food which is very unusual. Our server was very good.

We were not greeted in a warm and welcoming manner. We were then shown to a table next to a door. We asked for a different table and we show tables squeezed too closely together. So we did not stay. The reception personnel were totally inadequate.

We had a late brunch at the Bistro, the service was fabulous and the food came out quickly, however the biscuits were a bit too hard and overdone. Overall one the best experiences for brunch the wife and i have had.

We've been there before for dinner with mixed results. We tried brunch and it was very good. Lots of menu options, and each one pleased a different dinner in our group of four. The waiter was excellent, and the experience was very positive.

Very nice evening at Cloud Veil. Maitre d' was so friendly, let us pick our table. Service was attentive. Noise level was a bit loud, but didn't ruin anything. Order the Venison Filet, absolutely delicious and enough for leftovers. A little pricey, but worth every penny.

Food was excellent and servers pleasant. But they were not trained well. Dirty appetizer plates were not removed. Food spillage onto table was not cleaned up. Table was never wiped at all. Menu was wrinkled and stained. Little things that distinguish between a good restaurant and a great one.
