The service was attentive and faultless.
The tables are a little too wide, we felt a bit too far from our friends across the table which took away a bit of intimacy. Loved the booth layout as it created privacy and a reduction in noise from other diners.
While we couldn't fault the quality of the food I think it was a little expensive for a casual menu and accompaniments were too minimal.
Very disappointed for my wife’s birthday with family,drinks expensive,bottle beer warm.
Completely forgot to bring coffees.Entree exceptional while the mains were not. (No steaks)
Whilst seated near kitchen we witnessed a chef wipe his brow and neck then the rim of plates
This was done on numerous occasions.Our overal experience for 6people was poor.
Great food and great service will be back. A little bit of Syd or Melb in the coast
What a fantastic place to finally have in Gosford CBD. Great food, Great Service. We need more places like this.
We had a great night. The food and service were fantastic. My husband had the eye fillet which was perfectly cooked. I had the Alaskan crab linguine which was amazing.
Waitress was so friendly and welcoming. Very attentive.
My husband lost his wedding ring whilst there and rang up the next day and the lovely waitress that answered told him she'd found it. So lucky to have such an honest staff member find it, we were so relieved.

wow what a fantastic day - all 6 of us had the most amazing time - Can NOT fault anything - first visit was not so great but they have improved 100 % thanks so much cant wait to come back. xxxx loved it
My first visit there in June was unimpressed, steak was tough.
This time everything was very nice, really enjoyed it, glad I gave it another chance

Been to the Bon pavilion 4 times now and it’s usually a really great experience however myself and my partner we’re going for lunch and we both got the gnocchi and the smoked mash as a side.
The gnocchi was overcooked sadly and the potatoes were only slightly warm which was really disappointing because all other experiences at the bon have been memorable.
I thought about sending it back however we were seated at 2:30 and the kitchen started tidying up once we were served so I thought it was best to leave it.
Might consider trying somewhere different next time.
We found the music was a bit load otherwise everything was great
The Buddha bowl was amazing so many diverse flavours in one delicious meal. I’ll be back for sure
For special occasions. Everyday meals are quite expensive and at double the price in some cases but not double the quality. However The top end meals and share plates are amazing
Food and service excellent however, the noise level of the live music made it almost impossible to have a conversation with each other. Asked for sound to be lowered which it was, marginally, but must admit would not go back on a Sunday or any other day music is on.
We went on Saturday 19th October for my birthday meal. 2 adults 1 child. Reservation was 615pm. Food took over an hour to arrive, servers apologised and extra drinks were given for free, but the wait was excessive. The steak came and looked almost white! Zero caramelisation to it, it was a very average steak that I would of sent back had I not waited over an hour for it.
Not what we had expected from this restaurant. Hopefully they can turn it around, I am curious to go again and see if it was a once off.

Great place but food is overpriced for the area. Linguine has great taste but disappointed the pasta was under cooked. Such great ambiance and amazing cocktails though
The burger was average as to was the cocktails, definitely not value for money. The oysters are tiny. The gnocchi and steak was lovely. The venue and services is great however each time we visit we are less likely to return due to the food quality vs cost.
The overall experience is one being cared for by professionals, from the greeting, the menu knowledge by the staff, the food quality and the atmosphere. This was our second visit and we brought friends from Kyoto who are regulars at Michelin Star restaurants and they were impressed!
The service was fantastic. Unfortunately, I can not say the same about the food. The food was incredibly dissapointing. If I pay $50 for a small 250gm steak, and that is all that comes out on my plate then I expect it to be incredible and not to just be on par with the local bowling clubs steak.

I was very disappointed. Not sure if it wants to be a restaurant or a bar. Food was fine but expensiveMusic level was so noisy that I wouldn’t return. Having to shout your conversation is a big NO. We need a good restaurant/eatery in Gosford but this is not it if it remains so noisy.
The service was excellent however the food wasn't as good as we had hoped. Under cooked pasta & the desert tasted like it was just taken from the fridge whereas it would have been nice for it to have been more at room temperature being cheesecake. It would be great if you would do a wine pairing dinner at some point too.
First time there and we all enjoyed our meal, expected it to be a bit fancier than it was, it has a bar/ pub atmosphere.
We went to bon pavilion for our 27th wedding anniversary, we had a great night ♥️ Can’t fault the food, and service. The lighting was a little bright, music a bit load and noise levels coming from kitchen was a bit off putting, could a guy yelling out orders all night. For a very modern and classy restaurants we thought the uniform throughout the restaurant should be a bit more classy, the uniform reminded us of a burger bar the aprons were horrible. Over all we had a lovely time and will be back 😊
Brilliant little gem in the heart of Gosford. Easy to get to great food and great service. Highly recommended and will be good to see the menu change over time.

The food was great, the waitress that served us was amazing, however a waitress when we first entered was very rude.
Overall a great experience.
The atmosphere is lovely. The restaurant is very classy. Service was very good and the menu definitely captured my attention. Only one small opportunity for improvement was both my entree and main lacked seasoning (Green Pea Guacomole, Whole Roasted Eggplant). There was no salt on the table but that was quickly remedied by the helpful staff as soon as it was requested. All dishes were beautifully presented and servings were generous. Even the bathroom was well equipped and immaculate.
Will definitely dine there again.

I had the prawn cocktail for entrée, I think the prawns should be in smaller pieces, as the cutlery is used for oysters, making it difficult to eat. The lamb which I had for main does not mention that it comes with Asian greens, therefore I purchased a salad - but in the end, it was way too much food. Also, I would recommend a 'single serve portion' for diners dining alone, just to avoid wastage. Other than that, the food was superb.
Absolutely love this place. Keep coming back trying to eat our way through the menu. Haven't been disappointed yet. Service is fantastic.
The BEST margarita, and in the most beautiful setting. Will be going back soon for the cocktails!
Food was very nice and of the right proportion for me
Service was a tad slow when we sat down but acceptable due to the crowd enjoying the beer and burger promotion prior to the local mariners game
Staff were excellent especially Adam who looked after us after our meal in the bar section

Overall a great venue, an issue was that drinks seemed to take awhile. We waited for about 20minutes for a drink order to arrive. As we were only there for a short time, for a quick meal and drinks before a football game it was disappointing to have to ask the waiter a few times what was happening.
Delicious food! I had the eye fillet and it melted in my mouth, perfectly cooked. And paired with a side of yummy crispy duck fat potatoes, yum! Service was great and the wait staff were super friendly and helpful with the menu. Will definitely be back.

Was difficult to chose what to eat as there were many items on the menu that sounded delicious - and what we ended up choosing did not disappoint.
An over cooked chop on a plate with a mound of mint something (not sure what is was) for $38:00 is extremely poor value. Duck fat potatoes for $12:00 were ok.
I liked the place, the setting was lovely, particularly the booths. However, the service was slow but informative. The food was tasty but the pasta was stuck together and chewy not al dente and the fish pie was more like a thick soup consistency which was disappointing. I thought the alcohol was expensive as $77 for a half bottle of Pol Roger was over the top. I intend gathering some girlfriends together for a Girls Day Out experience, I am hoping that it will provide good service and plenty of food for $55 per head.
Our experience at the Bon Pavilion was very good the only thing I found that I didn't like was there are no green vegetables as a side on the menu, we had the Lamb Shoulder with the Duck Fat Potatoes which were divine the only other option for sides is salad which we had however it was not great and the only other thing the wait staff were not the best in filling up our glasses with water I think they should leave the water on the table for you to fill yourself however everyone on our table who had steak love it but this did come with greens.
