Great service and the Chilean Sea Bass is fantastic!!
Excellent Food and Quality. More specials would be nice. Good Staff.
Nice to have another great choice in Hot Springs. I have tried most of the entrees.
Made our wedding anniversary celebration enjoyable and memorable. Won’t wait till next one to come back!
We were celebrating my sister’s birthday. She was greeted as we walked in. Ashley, our server. was delightful. Food was presented beautifully. We even got to choose the steak knife we wanted to use. Very nice evening.
Everything was amazing. The seafood tower, steak, sides were all delicious. Our server was also amazing and fun and hope to have her next time we are there.
Really enjoyed the entire dining experience.
Wonderful food, presentation was great, service was outstanding.
The food and ambiance are why you go to the Bugler. Right off Oaklawn track, the windows open up to spectacular views of the track. I'd love to be there for a race. The food was excellent, although the shrimp in the Shrimp and Grits were a tad overcooked and chewy. I veered away from a few things that I had the first time that weren't as expected. The NY strip was as good as you can get in Hot Springs at a good price. Mushroom side was well prepared, but the baked potato was warm at best. Service was fairly attentive. Overall, a great experience.
Heather was awesome
Food was amazing
Super clean and modern
loved this place and the food and presentation was AWESOME
we will be back thanks
The food, service, and atmosphere was the absolute best!
I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes! They were out of this world delicious!
And ask for Heather to be your server if you can. She was amazing!
I can’t wait to go back!
Second time we have eaten at the bugler, both times it was excellent.
Very nice restaurant! We will definitely dine here again.
We came across this fine dining restaurant on Open Table, and were so happy we did! Hot Springs didn’t have many other fine dining options and we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. Absolutely recommend! Will be back!
The Bugler was a nice, upscale (but casual) restaurant. The fried green tomatoes were excellent. My pappardelle pasta with waygu beef was bland and the portion was too large. I would not order this again. My husband's new York stip was very good and cooked perfectly to order. The most amazing thing was the lavender creme brulee. It was so good, I'll dream about it. It was a overall a good restaurant.
Wonderful service and food was excellent. Great BD dinner
We had a party of six celebrating a birthday. It was on. It was our first time to Oaklawn. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The food was really really good. We all like to dine and dine well.
Heather was a true professional and a delightful witty person.
This was an alternate Labor Day weekend trip normally it’s a Colorado week.
Good was great. Sea bass was great. Lamb pastas and ball were good.
Food was very good even though my steak was over cooked. I ordered my steak medium and it was served medium well. No pink to be found. The steak was very very tender and tasty. Service was extremely fast. Enjoyed our first visit. Will definitely go back again.
The food is excellent - i had wagyu beef with pasta and mushroom rosota. Will go again
Loved this place! Our waitress was great and food was excellent!
Hot Springs should be proud to have a quality restaurant as the Bugler.
Nice view but price for what was ordered a little excessive but service was good
Food was very good and service was outstanding. It was expensive, but definitely worth it for a special occasion, etc.
Very impressed! The food was delicious and the overall experience was great!
Appetizers were brought to the table before our drinks were delivered.
Dinner was served and truly lacked presentation. One dinner needed to be sent back. The pork was very dry and flavorless. The wait staff did offer another entre and did take the dinner off of our bill for which we were very appreciative of.
Not sure we will return. Sorry.
Meal took to long to be served. 50mins. Wife's vegetables were cold and her steak was med well vs. medium.
Delightful from reservation through dessert. A truly repeatable experience!
Quality, not quantity on menu selection. Steak was so tender that the lovely steak knife of choice was not necessary. Dessert was amazing. Highly suggest the Mango Gelato. Yum!
Be careful when ordering items marked MP…..food was good but not sure it was $140 good for an appetizer! Other than that, very good meal.
Nice place and view , great staff. Food good, would go back. If I was staying at hotel
My wife and I decided to try The Bugler during a trip last week to Hot Springs. The food and service were both very good, but the ambiance was very disappointing. We were seated in the smaller back room, which was enjoyable until a few extremely loud groups were seated in the back room. One group in particular was extremely shrill and loud over an extended period of time, which ruined the experience. I think they would have been considered very loud even at a sports bar. I understand the challenge for management in such a situation, as well as room acoustics that compounded the problem, but we cannot justify going back for what we consider a fine dining experience.
The calamari was extremely salty. The sides tasted like someone followed a set of directions and never tasted them to see what they tasted like. Uncle Ben's rice is better than the mushroom risotto. The creamed spinach was tasteless and the corn was like it was poured straight from a can.
Server was too attentive and kept using we as in What are we going to have for desert? Etc. annoying! Food was somewhat disappointing. The cornbread that was first presented was disgusting, although croissant was good. Lobster bisque was good as were the crab cakes. Two of us had the sea bass. Tasted good but was smothered in tasty sauce. A little too much. Could offer something other than the bok Choy. The crepe brûlée was tasteless with just a vert thin crust. Others agreed. One had the chocolate martini. It was very thin and as we discussed later, so many things had a strange after taste…especially the creamed spinach.? The Asian influence you are interjecting in everything needs to be assed. Overall, very disappointing. The restaurant and hotel are beautiful. Too bad the restaurant food isn’t an asset. Thankfully we now have a few restaurants in town that are better places to spend a hundred dollars for a night out.
Wonderful food and service
The food was amazing. French onion soup was yummy, and cheesy. The Chilean Sea Bass was buttery and melted in your mouth! The Strip was tender and cooked perfectly. Service was impeccable. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert.
From start to finish everything was excellent. It was a fantastic experience.
Great food and service! The Oaklawn punch should be on the drink menu! The new building and everything at Oaklawn is top notch! Highly recommend!
The service was phenomenal. Everyone was so nice. It was the best wedge salad I had ever eaten.
The food was delicious, the waiter was vigil but not intrusive and the atmosphere was excellent.
The service and ambiance was good, but the food and drinks were awful. No worth the money.
