The CANarchy Collaboratory
Server was great. Food was delicious. Highly recommend.
Had a large party and was very well taken care of. Food was fresh! We enjoyed it!
Very terrible experience. Manager was rude, and inattentive. We waited for 45 minutes with tables that remained infilled. Finally we are at the bar, the bar tenders were pretentious and very full of themselves they didn’t cater to the needs of their clients. Will never never return! Food was okay.... but overpriced for the area.
Awesome service! The burger, open faced sandwich and the Harold & Blanco beer was great!
We went for the Valentines Day special where you had 2 main entrees to choose from. The food, beer and dessert was all very good and so was the service. The only other comment was the appetizer which was a large pretzel with beer cheese and mustard. It was a good pretzel but not as an appetizer. It they do this again, a salad or soup would be a better appetizer. Otherwise, it was a good experience and we will be back to Collaboratory
Neat place. Food was okay, nothing great. Service was okay but it was very crowded. Would definitely go back again.
Staff playing corn-hole, super loud and distracting. Gave 20% tip and clearly wrote total, CC charged $4 more. Messes up corporate expense reconcile.
We happened to go on trivia night, so noise level was a bit higher but hostesses asked our preference before we were seated in the trivia area.
Food was excellent and very filling!
New Year’s Eve and they canceled my reservation 4 hours before saying they were closing early. Couldn’t get another reservation in town after driving 4 hours. They should be removed from open table! Poor on both open table and the restaurant. Thanks for a bad NYE!
Took forever to take initial drink order. Drink came in dirty glass. Several beers and food choices were unavailable. When the food did come all entrees tasted horrible - over cooked, bad seasoning. Waitress was nice and apologetic about the service taking so long, but meals did not come with what the menu said they would because they had run out.
The service was appalling- the worst I’ve had in years. With multiple open tables we had to wait to be seated, it took 30 minutes to get a draft beer, over an hour to get our food and parts of our order didn’t come. I would never go back. We were there 2 hours trying to get an order of mediocre nachos.
This was a very cool and eclectic space. The food was very tasty!
We really wanted to enjoy our experience in a town with nonstop amazing dinning experiences ! We had to beg for water 3 times! Asked for lemons twice - finally went to the bar to ask for them, the bar tender didn’t seemed to pleased...had to find another server to ask our server to come take our order after waiting for 20 minutes with no check back and this was after all the water begging-luckily for some of us the beer and cocktails came quickly, the craft cocktails were excellent, beer menu fairly boring for a five brewery collaboration-we wanted to order several appetizers for the table to start but we were with two children, decided to go start to our entree order. The food came out quickly and for the most part was very good with a few misses - the sautéd greens at first bite were excellent but then the salt set in. Unfortunately very over salted. The kale nachos while really good were minus the kale ? We asked our server about this but he must have forgotten. The loaded Mac and cheese was absolutely noneventful - it tasted like béchamel and pasta without the ‘loaded’ even our 6 year old (who’s fav food on the planet is Mac & Cheese) wouldn’t eat it after saying she didn’t like it . The salads were great - especially the beet blue cheese-the grilled cheese sandwiches were good not great - flat breads, tried two, had great ingredients but lacked some seasoning- had to add salt?
I have never given such a horrible review but somebody really screwed up. This website took reservations for this restaurant for Christmas Eve and even sent a confirmation email the day before which I confirmed. The restaurant was CLOSED when we got there. My husband said that we will never use open table again for reservations but I’m not sure it’s all open tables fault. The restaurant should be on top of this also. We were not the only people to show up to a closed restaurant in a strange city with no where to eat on Christmas Eve. Shame on all involved.
I made a reservation for 7pm on Christmas Eve. When we arrived the restaurant was closed without any notification!
The food is outstanding!!! We have been several times now and had great service each time. My husband has enjoyed their beers as well. For locally sourced food, the prices are reasonable.
Great place to meet. Low key atmosphere and well designed interior. Great location in DT A’ville
Food and service were amazing.
Awesome beer selection... food was really good, too!
The staff was friendly and the food was good. The bartender was nice and delivered our drinks timely! It was a little loud but bearable! Overall a fun cool place to eat and hang out with friends!
Excellent experience and service !
Amazing food and service. Our table was ready for us even when we arrived a little early. The Pork Mac n Cheese was amazing!
We really enjoyed our visit this past weekend. I suffer from a food allergy, and it the staff were amazing at checking with the kitchen to make sure my meal would fit my needs. The reservation system was so easy, I booked it online and as soon as I arrived my table was ready. The beer list was diverse, the food was unique, everyone at my table enjoyed their meal. I can't wait to go back again.
Half our party were thirty minutes late and our server, Austin, was so patient and good spirited. The decor and food were both delightful. Great for our larger party, there is definitely room to breathe in there, something you can’t always say when dining downtown.
Had a nice evening with 4 friends this past Monday evening. Love the whole concept, the simple menu and the vibe. The beer selection was very good, even considering Asheville standard. Also enjoyed EXCELLENT service from our Cleveland Heights server. We had a good time...and will be back.
Food was good-upscale bar food. Very cute atmosphere! The staff was very friendly and courteous
Decent food that surprised our group. Neat vibe and super friendly service staff.
It’s obvious the chef and owners are trying to locally source the food. The menu was full of things our group wanted to try! We will definitely return!
The duck confit flatbread was barely edible. The wedge salad was good. The kale flatbread would be better w/less balsamic. The noise level needs to be addressed.
Great selection of beers, wine and even a hard cider. Varied and unusual menu. Everything delicious.
I wish that it had similar food to the lab. I miss the sliders and bacon sandwich. However, this did have great service.
Ambiance is cool and it’s a great space. Drinks were good, service was very good, food is sub-mediocre. Much better meals to be had in Asheville.
It was fine, adult meals that offer the same as children's were a bit overpriced and exactly the same. Loud, but overall fine.
Had appetizers and drinks. Good service and nice environment.
Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about our beer selections.
We will definitely return.
