The Charmant Restaurant

Stayed at Charmant for anniversary getaway. Hotel is fantastic and restaurant was fabulous. 2.5 hour drive to LAX for us but we will be returning again. Service and quality you wouldn't expect.

Everything about our experience was wonderful. This was the fist time we were eating in a restaurant since summer 21019 because of Covid. We felt very safe and comfortable.Staff and customers were masked. Staff was constantly cleaning. Excellent job!

Service and set dinner was great! The seafood and filet mignon were cooked perfectly! We could cut our steak with a butter knife! Best steak I have had in La Crosse so far!

Very nice environment, helpful staff. View of xmas lights. Overall an excellent choice for dining in Lacrosse.

Food was great and service was outstanding. Only complaint, the IPA I received was from January 2020 so about 11 months old. IPA's generally start going down hill after 30-90 days.

Ordered the steak and fries. Steak was delicious! Would have preferred a steak, vegetable and baked potato option as an healthier alternative. But, the fries were delicious. Our server was very busy in the beginning so it took us a while to get drinks. He apologized and was very attentive after. We understand that happens sometimes!

We enjoyed brunch , mimosas and a Bloody Mary!

Great atmosphere. Really nice people.
Service aweful. Waited an hour for our meal. Waited 15 minutes fir coffee.
Called 3 timesahead and when we arrived, to ensure a birthday dessert and they forgot. Took 15 minutes to find a candle.
When we arrived, with a reservation, we had to wait awhile, and told we could have a free drink. Then we were being charged for the drinks.
Rib eye steak poor quality, mostly fat and marble.

Fabulous, truly excellent steak and vegetarian options, the mushroom bolognese was amazing.

The hotel restaurant is beautiful as well as the rest of the hotel.
We enjoyed 2 meals at the restaurant this week.
Our service was excellent and the food was absolutely perfect both times.
We will be back in the area in a few months and will be sure to dine here again.

LOVE The Charmant's brunch!! Their Bloody Mary is deliciously spicy and the food is outstanding!! We cannot wait to come back!!

Our dinner at the Charmant was amazing! The trout was my favorite. It was so good! I want to go back as soon as possible have it again.

The food quality is amazing. The menu has enough variety everyone can find something they like, from vegetarian to seafood. Their cheese curds are to die for. Service is exceptional, was there two months ago and the server remembered us and even what we ordered (two shared dinners and a specialty drink...). They take great care to ensure that the dining experience feels special yet safe during COVID. Wonderful place to eat!

The service from Holly was quite slow but luckily we weren't in any rush,
The Steak Frites for $29.00 although not expensive for a steak just plain was not good very tough and fatty and no flavor, we also had the $12 burger all I can say is it was alright, thus the 3 star rating nothing horrible but also nothing that made the food and evening stick out either.

Sisters weekend ended with brunch at Charmant. Everything exceeded expectations! We agreed we wished we had found this place sooner.
Plan next time to stay at the hotel and have all our meals here.

The brunch menu had great choices and the food was delicious!!
We do think the pricing was on the high side, but for the overall experience it was worth paying a bit more than we would normally.

Fun evening with excellent service! Prime Ribeye a little disappointing. Buried in onions masked the flavor of steak. Everything else fantastic

We were celebrating a wedding anniversary, so were excited to be out and about, to a restaurant we really wanted to try. While we had exceptional service, the food was not above par as we were anticipating. It lacked seasoning overall.

Excellent cuisine. Dining distance maintained. We had a lovely evening. Cocktail combination a little obscure but we found drinks we liked.
Mushroom bolognaise would have been nice with a veg added. Pork shank devine. We'll be back..

Great place in La Crosse - probably the best. Located in a great boutique hotel.

During an out-of-town getaway we visited The Charmant for brunch before heading home. I love a seasonal menu and ended up with their brand new Carnitas Hash with black beans and sweet potato. I have determined to try to make it at home in the future! My husband had a mocha and thought it weak on the espresso flavor, but he liked his Benedict. Lovely setting on the river!

Great atmosphere we will be back!

We chose the hotel restaurant for our first night stay at the Charmant Hotel. The waiter was very business like. I prefer someone who is informative, but more relaxed. I also would like to have been attended to more. The food was was not only good, but well thought out. the brussel sprouts were excellent. the figs made it happen. Something new for us. The bartenders were quite helpful, and relaxing.

It was wonderful. Our server made it special. Food was fabulous!

They are constantly providing quality and delicious entrees. Clean and beautiful restaurant.

The overall experience as fantastic. The menu had great variety and the food was superb. You can also tell their wait staff is trained extremely well.

The staff were very welcoming and the food was good. We were celebrating our anniversary at the hotel and had dinner there on Friday night. We ordered drinks appetizer salad and entree. We were disappointed when they served everything at once!! We couldnt eat fast enough and everything got cold. Also there was a party in the parlour and we could not get coffee with our dessert on Saturday night. We still love the charmant and will definitely go back. Just a little disappointed this time because we wanted to celebrate and savor our meal

our visit to the Sherman was wonderful! We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and they greeted him with a birthday card and kind wishes. Food was delicious drinks were amazing highly recommend to all of our family and friends.
