Food was very tasty and prompt however service was a little non committal and aloof. Flat white ordered at the end of the meal tasted and looked like an instant coffee and ended the experience on a disappointing note.

The meals a very expensive for what you get. Don’t mind paying if it’s an outstanding taste experience but $52 for a steak and salad??? $33 for tuna with salad and the fish was cooked too long. Need to be careful bbqing any fish.

The blonde English girl who serves at the bar is rude and disrespectful. My way or the highway attitude and a short brown headed male with some facial hair encourages her to act in such way is a joke.

She belongs in a sales call centre not in hospitality.

I work in the hospitality industry myself as a business developer. My job is to evaluate establishments and save them money in their software and kitchen equipment. I support many business in the Brisbane region I might add.

She needs to have some training on how to talk to customers.

I had booked a table for 9pm. By the time I finally got my table and ordered I had to cancel my meal and leave as I would not make it in time for my show at QPAC. I told the staff that I needed the food quickly. Very hungry and very disappointed.

Staff were friendly but food was very ordinary - it definitely didn’t look like the pics online. My partner had swordfish which was a particularly small serve probably 150grams at the most. Lamb rump was a better portioned meal for sure.

An overall disappointing experience. Our waiter was unfriendly from start to finish. As we were sitting down at our table, the waiter informed us that our table is reserved for later reservations and our table needs to be unoccupied in 1.5 hrs, (we felt we were merely seat warmers until the more important clients arrived later in the evening). We were also seated smack bang in the middle of the pathway for other customers to find their way to their table. Which resulted in walkbys from other drunken customer's and waiters throughout our entire meal.There were limited options on the menu, so we opted to share 2 entrees and 2 sides. The meat entrees arrived cold, fortunately the vegetables were still warm. As we went up to the register to pay, the same waiter who greeted us did not give us an itemised bill, just simply charged us an overall amount, but did offer after I did make my payment. I have no desire to return as the quality of service and food was very average.

The Meal we had the salad was covered in to much dressing which made it unpleasant

Couldn’t order half of the menu for some reason. Ordered a table for two had to sit at a six person table. Overall very dissatisfied.

Good atmosphere and good food.
Easy parking at Brisbane convention centre

Lunch on NYE was quiet and relatively empty however food took a long time to arrive and other customers verbally complained.

Beer & chicken salad were good. Our water was either high, stupid or drunk. He delivered calamari & said it was chicken wings. He presented some skewers & said "these are a vegan trial complimentary from the chef". Vegan diner ate one & we later found that they were lamb and were ordered by another member of our party.
HOW BAD IS THAT.
Not a good selection on the menu for a vegan who is lactose intolerant.
I was very embassed that I took my guests to your establishment.

Things have changed considerably since the onset of Covid.
There is a greatly reduced menu in the restaurant and apart from the starters we could only order off the restaurant menu and not the overall venue menu.
Starters were great. Sadly the mains were not. Cold food (only about 10 people in the restaurant!) lamb was pretty dry and clattered with "gravy". The Steak was quite chewy which at $50 is unacceptable.
Dessert was good - but again only a choice of two as one item of the 3 was not available.
We used to visit regularly as the quality of the food was always good, sadly don't think we will be rushing back.

Awesome place. Will be back for sure. Top pizza and food in the brewhouse. Staff are friendly and chill.

Most of the food we tried to order was out of stock. All we got were apologies for not serving food what we wanted.

Food and location is good. Friends and family have raved about this place, but we were disappointed with the service behind the bar. The bar tender clearly didnt want to be there and was rude to everyone we saw him interact with. Everyone else was lovely.

Food and drinks were absolutely fantastic. The blonde bartender (unfortunately didn’t grab her name) was so friendly and fun. She also made me one of the best old fashioneds I’ve ever had.

Not up to the standard or expectation of previous visits.
Overall opinion of the food was pretty negative which was a surprise given that we have previously been delighted with the food. Beers and drinks were fab - as would be expected
Difficult to prove but sadly four people from our party did have upset stomachs later that evening and the following day
Bar staff were great - no issues there but the waiter allocated to our table appeared to be very off hand with us - the restaurant wasn't that busy. Most of our table did comment on the issue - OK so maybe he was having a bad day but sadly the industry he is working in means he has to interested in the customers.

The food was fairly good but a bit expensive for what you got. Service was close to the poorest we’ve ever experienced at a restaurant in Brisbane. Past it’s heyday unfortunately.

Food was ok but Venue was way understaffed for a Friday night, only 4 or 5 staff for a couple hundred customers. I had to go into the kitchen to find someone just to let me pay the bill

Brilliant venue for a Saturday night dinner, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the service was brilliant. Drinks selection was fantastic and the food was delicious. Wasn't what one would call cheap but it was worth every cent. Highly recommend if you're looking for a slightly classier night out but also don't wanna break the bank

Sat night so we expected it to be busy but had reservation for 7:30. Table wasn’t ready until 7:45. Waited over an hour for food and then chicken burgers came out pink in the middle. Pretty disappointed.

Really great food and awesome service.
The atmosphere in the restaurant definitely different to the bar area, which was appreciated. Our waitress was very attentive, and very friendly, which helped make our experience. Food was really delicious and presented very well. Pricing was reasonable for the quality, venue and service, and great drinks selection too.
Overall a quality experience.

Loved all the entres.
My crispy chicken and crispy skin was quite bland. The chicken piece was a little over cooked.
The meals had too many chips which my guests commented on.
But we loved the atmosphere and the booth seating.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, has a buzz about it. Service was fairly ordinary, took some time to take our order and then they forgot our mains. They compensated for this by refilling our wine glasses free of charge.

1st time visitor & loved it, food was great service was amazing , service attendant took into account that we had a show to go and I felt she made our dinner order a priority we will definitely be back

Food and venue were great but the guard at the door was rude and abrupt.

Everything was yummy. Try the baked camenbert.

Don’t recommend anyone sit inside, too hot, no air flow. We sat there sweating with no air circulation.

Enjoyed all aspects of my visit, including the ambience of surroundings and delicious meals served, but particularly the quality of service provided. Will certainly return soon.

the steak was charred too much outside , but it tasted good on the inside

Food was inedible. Burnt gnocchi. Chewy “slow cooked” lamb. Was refunded without a drama. Staff were polite. But won’t eat here again.

The table service was brilliant - food as always was mouth watering - drinks just great

We had a booking for 1930, arriving early 1830 and were Kindly accommodated. We ordered the 400grm slow roasted lamb to only be told 10 minutes later they had run out. This should have been communicated at the time of placing our order.

Aside from the Smoked Bacon beer running out, it was a fantastic experoence. Highly recommend.

Great service, food was amazing (huge pizzas and the steak was delicious)!
