Great meal & good value for money. Only downside was young waiter split drink down 1 of group.

An excellent evening the food was superb and a very varied menu available. The portions were just right the waiting staff friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this venue for an impressive and worry free dine out!

My wife ordered the vegetarian option - fried squash with noodles. She was unable to eat most of it because the noodles and accompanying vegetables were overcooked. We mentioned this to the waitress and instead of not charging for the meal we were given coffee without charge. The bill still came to £80 which was one alcoholic drink, three mains (one not eaten) and two desserts. We considered this very expensive.

Fabulous lunch, having decided to revisit after dinner here a few weeks ago. Friend and I both chose set menu ... two courses for £16. Had salmon pancake followed by fish pie (I know, I know, fish and fish, but it's what we fancied!) Both were excellent. Delicious fish pie was topped with potato, carrot, swede and parsnip crumble ... yum!

Excellent meal and excellent service here. The fish was great and the pudding - a chocolate torte with salted caramel - was the best dessert I have ever had!

Hadn't been for about 30 years so we thought we would try it. Food and service good. Conservatory noisy. No disabled parking but told you could park at the front of the pub. Overall a good experience and we are planning to come again in a small party.

Able to reserve table for same day. Accommodated change in numbers readily. Services bit lakadazy - didnt bring bread until asked for it, forgot drinks order and coffee and had to be reminded of both. Friendly staff however and good food.

As a small group we enjoyed everything ,the food presentation was expertly executed to tempt anybody in any mood. Our attraction to mainly Fish dishes was well met. The set Menu was very good value. The grounds are well maintained so outdoor eating must be good in fine weather. Parking seemed easy for us at 6.30pm.
