The Den Cape Cod

We were in Dennis for a girls weekend and had dinner at the Den. We were impressed at what they were able to do with a strip mall facade. Decor was very welcoming and lounge like. We had fantastic service and jovial character named Josh. He was so much fun and incredibly efficient. The food was great and overall it was a great experience! Hoping 2021 is good to the Den!

I think the Den Cape Cod is one of those hidden gems that no many people know about (all though the restaurant is mostly busy) a lot of Cape Coders are still learning about it.

I invite anyone who is looking for a great atmosphere, delicious food, and tasty drinks - to try it out, the NY Steak is by far one of the best I have had in a long time, you can absolutely tell the quality of food they bring to your table is of the freshest.

Food was amazing!

The menu is varied and includes some traditional dishes with some eclectic choices. I went with the a Korean BBQ pulled pork, and it was delicious. Excellent French Fries too!

We had dinner at the Den on Saturday night 3/13. The food was good, except they forgot the truffle fries and the burger was cooked medium well when it was ordered medium rare. The server was rude to my son when he asked for a lime and a straw. I will not be back to this restaurant. They allow patrons to walk around without a mask. I asked our server about three different people walking around without masks and her response was they can’t control that. I am not going back if that is their response.

Food was really bad. Drink had no alcohol. Asked for a water no idea what they gave us.

Had a great experience at the Den! Maeve waited on us and she could not have been more friendly, upbeat and good at what she does (including making the BEST cosmos!). The food was great and so was the atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon!

I understand these are difficult times for restaurants. That having been said, we waited a good 6 minutes before someone greeted us. We were told to choose a table and she’d drop off menus. That took 10 minutes. There was one server/bartender for the entire restaurant and it was fairly full. She managed to keep it under control but no one should have to work under those circumstances. Drinks and order taken promptly. Food was good but again, service was slow. Not sure if we will go back.

This place is very noisy (and this was during COVID, when it is probably less busy and crowded). For reasons that weren't clear, the service was slow... Food was quite good and very large portions.

Seriously great bar food - some of the best we’ve had on the Cape. Decent beer selection, too!

Waitstaff were blatantly not wearing masks and complaining about the fact that they had to put them on “because the health department came in last week” ....

Very clean and well socially distanced restaurant. Unfortunately servers seemed a little overloaded. We both ordered stir fry and it was disappointing as the only vegetables were green beans and one or two pieces of broccoli. There was little or no sauce.

Let me start by saying the pictures of this place don’t do it justice. I was leery from the one picture they had as it looked nightclubish to me but it was far from that. It does have a big bar but the food and service was so excellent. Started with a harvest salad that had the most bacon I’ve ever seen on a salad and a steak that was incredible. This is a great, reasonable place that perhaps gets missed but shouldn’t. Well worth every Penny.

Food was great. Atmosphere seemed Covid friendly. Waitress was awesome. Will definitely go back.

Stopped in for dinner a few days ago. The food and service was GREAT. Nice warm friendly atmosphere. Worth stopping in!!

Paella was not what we expected. Have had much better elsewhere. Had the wait a long time for our food. Waitresses kept getting confused.

The food was really really good but the bartender was our waitress. she was so nice and trying her best. The place was empty so I get it which is why I’m still giving four stars because the food was really good and the bartender was very nice. It was just slow service and the food seemed to take forever which I guess is because they weren’t really prepared to have guests. We were the only people at a table and about six other parties all at the bar. We are here off season so I get it but

Great service and attention from the server and bartender stopped by the table as well. Fantastic pizza, steak and appetizer. Cannot wait to go back.

Really nice atmosphere and excellent variety of food. Everything tastes homemade . Our second time in the Den, more to come !

We truly appreciated all of the adherence to the Covid protocols for dining out. The food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly.

Service was slow. Food was terrible and not as ordered. Bill was not adjusted for the food mistakes. We ate outside and there was a loud fight in the parking lot while we were eating. Overall not a great experience and don’t think I will go back!

Food was great served plenty of fries with my husbands philly steak and cheese sub . He said it was awesome. My tuna poke bowl was excellent. Very busy only saw 2 waiters for whole restaurant who actually did a really great job. I will go back.

Great place if you're looking to get a drink and quick place to eat a basic lunch or dinner. Food and service weren't great but not the worst.

Mediocre experience! We had made reservations, but couldn't be accommodated inside. Seems like they're still getting into the swing of post summer COVID regulations.

Took a while to get our drinks, had to flag down server to pay.

The host/server was super friendly- but they were definitely understaffed. Burgers were good though!

Great spot for some apps and drinks with friends.

We loved our first dinner here. Two complaints #1 We really wanted to sit outside, we saw heating lamps, great, this will be our dinner place. When we sat down we were told neither of two or three worked. So we were cold, this should be certainly improved especially when COVID cases are increasing and people will seek outdoor seating more again. #2 We had really good view to the kitchen and the chef didnt have his face covered, he had sleeve on his neck but not on his face. It's a state regulation and you guys can get in trouble if we reported it (we wont do it!!).
Over all, delicious food, waitress was the best we had in months!

This was our second time within a week visiting The Den. The first time we went it was spectacular - the food, the drinks, the service, the ambiance, etc. This last time we went, my husband was served burnt pizza, it took about 15 minutes to get a drink, and the waiter ignored us for the majority of the time we were there. That being said, when he did tend to us, he was a pleasure. They did take the pizza off the bill for us, so we will def go back again sometime.

My only problem was that the staff was not wearing their masks over their noses , mostly wearing them just under their chin. Our waitress did but other staff members who handled our food did not. I would not go back for that reason.

Good was good, service was questionable as there were lost unruly guests taking the attention of waiter and management. Outside dining is in the parking lot

Great food and drink. Great service. Great outdoor seating and decor.

This was our second visit to the den. Must have new help. Had to send back one of our meals twice because it was not cooked properly. The second time it was the wrong one. Third time was much better. Drinks were a ok, but not the exact amounts of mixers. Will try a third time for dinner in a few weeks. Overall, a cute funky place to eat.

Excellent food and service. Great relaxed and modern atmosphere. We enjoyed are delicious food and will definitely be back!

The best thing about our dining experience here was the service - Chris was very friendly, accommodating & did a great job timing out our courses. Our food, from the crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops, a salmon dish, & pork tacos were just ok. We opted for outdoor dining & the "patio" was situated alongside a parking lot, had no decor/ambiance & had techno-beat music dominating the air space. With so many dining options in the area, we won't be rushing back to the den.

Great menu, very much appreciate that they take reservations. Server was very good. Kitchen was a little slow. But we enjoyed our experience and will be back!

Waiter Chris was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent

Chowder was very salty, truffle mash flatbread was good, fish, steak, and pork tacos were great. Thai chicken had no flavor. Good mojitos and cold draft beer. Good place for a beer and an app, not so much for an entree.

Everything was delicious we arrived when they just opened we were seated promptly and the server did an excellent job!
