                            The food was fabulous! Limited menu and different ingredients that makes you wonder, is that going to be good? Each dish was better then the next! Great service as well! Favorite dish was the Octopus.

                            Very, very good small plate place with a cool vibe, fun decor and easy going but highly attentive service. Plates came out quick but paced well. Very interesting flavors across the board.

                            We were visiting Milwaukee for the first time and found The Diplomat via the James Beard Nomination list. While the food was excellent and definitely made the visit worthwhile, the wine list was disappointing. The restaurant was nice with lots of fun touches, but the lighting was pretty bright for the space, which made the ambiance feel a little off, for us. Again, we loved our meal and would certainly return for food! I'm really not much of a red meat eater but the steak we had was incredible and cooked perfectly. We loved the date carpaccio and the garlic aioli that came with the fries was practically perfect. I should also mention, the beer list looked great! It was just the wine and cocktail lists that fell flat. I nice experience, overall.

                            This was our first choice for a birthday celebration. We enjoyed a quiet corner table near the window. Love the decor! The drinks and the food were delicious. We could have ordered the whole menu! The service was excellent. Can't wait to go back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
