Excellent experience.Varied choices on menu, something for everyone.

All was excellent part from been given the wrong bill and the manager insisting it was ours, the bill was for 5 meals, there was just 3 of us. The manager sending the waitress to say it was right in stead of coming himself, the waitress immediately realised it was wrong as she had served us. Poor management, hopefully this comment will help improve things.

The food was fabulous nicest beef I’ve had in a long time. The selection of vegs were excellent too .
The only downsize I thought drinks a bit on the expensive side
£27 for prosecco !!!!

Superb meals, best sunday roasts ever, backed up by the ever so friendly staff coupled with excellent service, including our puppy, Nacho, who loves the Drovers staff

In these Covid times, it is wonderful to have a local pub with a fantastic menu, friendly staff, even Adam.
My wife took the haddock and chips and it was "melt in your mouth" great.
My Drover's burger was cooked to perfection.
The Drovers is no longer a hidden gem, and let's hope it remains in Tier 2 (or lower) for a while longer.

Lovely homely pub with very friendly staff. Was fairly quiet when we went but that is to be expected in the current ever changing climate. The food was really nice and the price matched the quality.
This is our second visit here in the last couple of months because we are able to take our pup with us, the staff are lovely with him - brought him water, a couple of biscuits as a treat and made him feel very welcome.

I can’t fault this place in anyway the best of food and fantastic service very friendly staff and very helpful would definitely recommend this restaurant

Yet another excellent trip to the Drovers. The food is always excellent (burgers especially), the staff are so friendly and the pub itself is a cracking wee place. When it's cold and the log fire is burning, nowhere better to be.

A very welcoming place to dine at this festive season. The menu is perfect for the time of year too. We both had Christmas dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was nicely cooked and served hot. The waiting staff were very attentive and kept returning to us to ask if we were ok. Will definitely be back

Fantastic meal in lovely setting. Staff reserved us table in quieter area which was perfect as we had dogs with us. Staff were attentive and also brought water for the dogs. Food was delicious.

It was my birthday which I wanted to share with my son and his partner, but because of covid rules we were unable to book a table for 4. The Drovers accommodated us by setting two tables that were close enough for us to share the experience, but which kept to the social distancing rules.

As always The Drovers served up a lovely lunch. Friendly staff, delicious food.
Only observation, a wider choice of non meat options would make it even better. All the veggie options are lovely but as we go regularly it would be nice to have a bit more choice.

This pub is very good indeed offering excellent cuisine and value for money. It was very busy on Sunday as people took the opportunity to have their last Sunday lunch out for the foreseeable future. It is always a pleasure to go there and is highly recommended.

We have been here twice and hope to return again and again. The best 'nut roast' Sunday Lunch I have ever had.

Visit very regularly and this pub is always consistently very good. Very friendly and efficient staff.

I had the stew with dumplings, the meat was tender but it felt like it had just been warmed up and not at all fresh was not very tasty and the dumpling were like dry scones the side of seasonal vegetables was quite mundane.

The burger a chips my partner had was not very good either.

Expensive for what we had, won’t go back in a hurry. Plenty more pubs can have our custom.

Strict adherence to Covid 19 regs. Extensive a la carte and specials menu. Food very well presented and cooked sublimely. High end prices. It came recommended and we would go back.
