I really enjoyed my evening in the exchequer. The food was really delicious and i really liked the tapas style menu - lots of tasty food to sample with friends. The wine was great and while we were outside there was plenty of heaters so we weren't cold.

Lovely food and atmosphere, great service. Only issue I had is that the tables on the terrace outside are way too close together given the ongoing pandemic.

The food was gorgeous and there was a great selection also.
The service was impeccable, David in particular catered for all of our needs to a high standard and was great fun too.
The rooftop terrace was really quaint and cosy, the heaters were a great touch!
I would highly recommend dining here.

Knowledgable waitstaff and superb chef. A birthday celebration in a not so cheery lockdown but they made it really fun, warm and friendly.

Went there during Covid Level 3 so the dining area was outside only - worked very well once you wrapped up reasonably well. The overhead heater did its job well, without blasting the heat out. Actually felt like we were eating out abroad on holidays. Staff could not have been more professional and pleasant. The food was very good, interesting and varied. Being mostly tapas, it allows for mix & match so each visit can be very different. The wine list was extensive, with a good range available by the glass, and bottle chosen was delicious, so I think a good omen for when we visit again.
