The Fat Buddha

Quite simply the best restaurant in town! Week in week out the atmosphere and food are outstanding. We’re always greeted with a warm smile and invited in for a pre-dinner drink in the stylish bar area. One of the best things about the FB is that we’re never rushed to order, in fact the staff will often suggest new dishes although take it from me the chat and chicken moglai are out of this world! If there was an option for 6 stars I’d be tapping it!

Lovely restaurant , very helpful & friendly staff and great food , ambiance rated low as only a few people in on a Monday night. On a busy night it would be great I will definitely return 😋

We had a lovely first experience at the Fat Buddha (Maidenhead) we were welcomed and showed to our table promptly and soon attended for appetisers and drinks. The food was amazing, probably the best I’ve tasted in a very long time! The dinks although although a little pricey (we ordered wine and cocktails) were very tasty and measures were generous. Staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout.
We will be back!

5* experience. What a lovely surprise, to walk into a restaurant in Maidenhead and feel like you are in London. Food was amazing, staff were great and the atmosphere was top notch.

Tamerind chicken is a must, the food, beer, and service were great.

Had a fantastic experience here - staff were great fun, made you feel really welcome and the service was excellent. Our waiter Ash recommended dishes to us based on our level of spice tolerance - he did not disappoint. Fantastic place.

Food excellent service excellent, ambience excellent. Normally would give five star rating however we were sat too close to other tables definitely not 2m away and one nearby table had 6 very loud male diners who were joined by 1 or 2 additional diners who sat at the table making 7 or 8 in total. Clearly compliance with Covid regs not very strict. We finished our food quickly and left. Would return but not till Covid rules are complied with or removed.

The Restaurant was really busy but the food came quickly and the staff were excellent and super friendly. Our waiter was raving about their Broccoli dish...I wasn’t convinced so he gave me some to try and it was amazing! and I’m really fussy..Its a bit more upmarket than the usual Indian restaurant. It has really nice decor and a really lovely bustling atmosphere ...will def go again ..

Great food, a great place to spend an evening. Service was great.

Food was lovely and nice decor. Restaurant was very noisy, portions could size. Be careful sharing platters, very over priced. We thought the price was per platter, but it was per person. Bit expensive Indian at £50.00pp.

Food was really tasty and would absolutely recommend getting food from here. The service outside of that towards the end was patchy, for our table and that of another friend who also dined there on the same night, we both had to ask for the bill 5 times before it arrived. The tables however were very close together and the restaurant was packed, although good from an atmosphere perspective, I did not feel COVID safe. I will continue to get a takeaway from here as it is still my favourite Indian Restaurant in Maidenhead, but I will not be dining here again whilst restrictions are still in place.
