It was extremely cold and we had to sit outside because apparently thats all they had available even tho we made reservations!

It was my first time there...just a chill time for me...it was a great experience. The ambiance, the food, the people, it was all beautiful...I’ll be back.

The ambiance and decor was well put together. I arrived early to my reservation they asked me to wait a few minutes. The entire reason I visited the fog was to get a nice view of the city but they wouldn't allow my party step outside. We ended up leaving and catching a ferry.

Its overrated ,overly priced .Drinks were great but I can't say the same thing for the service and food .Mark was very helpful with the reservation .Muscles were cold ,very greasy .charter plate was very bad 👎. I do recommend the ambiance and drinks but not the food .

We arrived and got seated quickly. Initially, our server greeted us, took our order but disappeared the rest of the night. We had to wave down other servers or walk to the bar to order drinks or get any service. It took 15-20 mins to get drinks after ordering and we eventually left early

The outdoor seating and window seating is ideal. We were tucked back in a far corner with a tiny view. I had requested outdoor seating and was told it's for larger parties. Then as I was walking to the restroom I saw that there was a whole side that had two person tables. Not sure why those tables were not an option for us. The cocktails were amazing, took about 30 min to arrive only draw back and 15.00 for a Smoking Gun.

The music was terrible.

Views and comfy seating makes this place cool. If you get a view spot.

The table configuration is slightly odd. Seems like you’re in the lobby while facing people and not the view. I’d request a table outside before visit. 20% Service charge for %20 service level.

Fog Room is Seattle's premier rooftop lounge experience! Located in the beautiful Charter Hotel in downtown Seattle, this classy cocktail venue overshadows 2nd avenue and offers a spectacular sunset-skyline view of Puget Sound. During my visit last night, the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring my friend and I received top notch service throughout the evening. Toni, at the front of the house, was upbeat and pleasant. She showed me to my table and ensured I was comfortable while I waited for my friend. Very warm smile. She patiently explained the COVID precautions (which were not dissimilar of other similar venues). After arriving at our table, Lucas, our server, immediately welcomed me with water and offered helpful drink suggestions from the menu. I stuck with the Hartford Court Pinot Noir; however, I did try the Smoking Gun which was interesting and spicy. After taking a hard look at the menu, the Steamed Mussels in Green Chile Broth sounded unique and worthy of a try. Both my friend and I were very impressed with these and thought them to be quite spectacular--full of flavor, hint of spice, and were served with a healthy portion of thinly cut seasoned fries. I felt it was priced appropriately and was perfect for sharing. As the sun went down, the staff kindly offered to turn on heaters to keep us warm and comfortable. They periodically checked in for additional drink orders and to refill water. They were really on it! Fog Room is now my favorite spot for a trendy evening social drink. If you enjoy drinks with a view as much as I do, this is definitely your spot!

We came from out of town and decided to go to a nice bar. This is by far the nicest bar ever! The vibe was perfect! We got a nice indoor seat by the window. We didn’t get food as we ate prior to coming. But the drinks were good, a tad bit pricey. And just an FYI there is a 20% service charge added to your bill not including the tax. It’s pricy but such a wonderful experience.

The Fog room is incredibly beautiful with a very unique, upscale yet homey feeling. The drinks were great and the dessert was perfect. Dinner was good but not the star of the show.
A very cute place for date night or girls night out!

COVID-19 version Fog Room was probably a little different than traditional, so it felt a little quiet, but if there was slightly louder music to give some more mood to the ambiance, it would have been fantastic! Add some spice to the environment given people can't really talk to one another, and the place is a winner.

Dungeness crab roll and Chili Verde muscles were delicious!

For a “rooftop bar” we were given a terrible table right by the front door with zero view. Our server was not very friendly, and we only ordered two cocktails which took almost 30min to get to us. I typically don’t have an issue with 20% service charge being included, however the service we received was not worth the price we paid. All in all 2 out of 5

A few okay views but mostly the view is of the buildings across the street. Drinks are okay but not worth a special trip.

Fun experience

The service was absolutely amazing!! It was so relaxing and such a cute date night spot. The manager came by to check in on us and was so sweet. At no fault of the restaurant the charcuterie board was not our personal taste. It was not the standard type of meats and we personally didn’t like the taste of them. It was not a big deal to us, we figured we just ordered the wrong thing and would know not to order it the next time. The manager stopped by and wanted to make sure we were happy and insisted that he would take care of it and removed it from the bill. Top notch service and care that is very rare these days!! We will definitely be back!!

A great sunset view of the Olympic mountains and the great wheel. Wonderful cheese plate and the pumpkin seed brittle was incredible. I recommend the LUCY & ETHEL cocktail, very light and refreshing. The atmosphere was contemporary yet very elegant. Just make sure you check the time of sunset so you won’t be disappointed.

Great views

Very cool spot and I am definitely looking forward to going back. The reason to go in my opinion is for the view and the drinks, which were spot on outstanding. Reasonably priced for the type of venue as well.

Though the Fog Room is only a few blocks from where I live, my first visit wasn't until the weekend of August 1. What a lovely surprise! It is tasteful, intimate, and because you feel you have entered an area distinctly apart from the rest of the hotel and about 200 feet above street level, it sets a relaxing mood.

The wait staff was gracious, attentive, and appropriately respectful of current pandemic responsibilities to each other. Very honestly, I felt welcomed and made to feel as if I were a regular customer. Of course, that made me want to come back!

My boulevardier cocktail was perfection, I was given time to enjoy it (them...), and glancing out at some exquisite views over Elliot Bay while being at ease and reflecting during the growing twilight was heaven. My entree was presented nicely, was cooked to accommodate my requests, and was quite tasty.

I can foresee this will become a favorite. While I cannot address the hotel itself, the For Room offers friendly, well-organized, luxury-hotel-like hospitality.

Would have liked to sit outside, host did not offer the next table to us. We had plastic on one of the pâtés. They took care of the issues but should not have never been there. Probably would not go back.

For drinks, my partner and I shared the Gold Medal (a strong and complex rum drink), Green Goddess (a refreshingly light gin drink), and the Lucy and Ethel (a fruity vodka drink), all of which were plenty strong and delicious.
For food, we got the King Salmon (I can't remember having a more buttery, fatty piece of salmon) and a Charcuterie/Cheese Board combo, which isn't listed on the menu so I can't remember how much it cost, but everything had the most delicious and bold flavors, our favorites being the buttery biscuit and jam as well as the pumpkin seed brittle and the mustard spread... really all of it was good.
The service was great as well, absolutely no faults there. It may have helped that we were one of the first ones there at 5pm when they opened, but I enjoyed the semi-relaxing atmosphere. Is it expensive? Yes. Did I get what I paid for? Definitely. The scattered views of the Puget Sound are nice, the space is classy, and I'm already planning my next visit.

The environment is great and the drinks/food are pretty great as well! The majority of the staff go above and beyond to accommodate their guests! My only gripe is that the front desk person downstairs (an older white man) is quite rude and unwelcoming. Since he is the first person you interact with when arriving it is unfortunate and may deter some people from coming back.
