Everything was fabulous....little slip up on dessert was the only criticism. Butterscotch Budino had too much gelatin in the pudding part, and therefore wasn't creamy and smooth. But the Duck, the Sliders, the Squash soup were all amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Chef Budi is a master. Everything we had was amazing - foie gras, tempura cauliflower, Broccolini, squash soup, fondue, fried chicken wing sandwich, shu mai. Order the Budi carmel pudding for desert!

The gathering table is in that small set of foodie destinations like the inn at little Washington. It’s worth every mile up the little highway to Ballard to taste the incredible work of chef Kazali. We had grilled octopus, whitefish, butternut squash soup and pan fried noodles, all to die for.

We enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving dinner at this restaurant. Beautiful setting, food delicious and service outstanding from the get go especially from our waiter Jared.
We would return again anytime but will remember to have our cocktail before we go as they only serve beer and wine.

We made reservations based on friends' recommendation and we can't wait to go back. We shared a couple of apps, then our own main courses. Perfectly sized portions. Excellent. We had the octopus, pluot burrata salad. Duck for main & also the mushroom risotto with the seasonal truffles. Amazing! Thank you. It was outside & chilly even with the heaters. I would bring a blanket for your lap during the cold months.

The Gathering Table is a Lovely spot. The food is outta this world! The Hanger Steak Bipipmi style has so many layers of flavor. We could have eaten it 2 nights in a row. Service is super. This is a dining experience you don't want to miss!

Amazing dinner and we loved the ambiance! My husband had the duck which was best he’s ever had and I had a delicious white fish. We also shared a bowl of very flavorful squash soup. Chef came by our table and wished me a happy birthday-very sweet of him.

Enjoyed eating out on the lawn. A cool evening, but heaters and our blankets made it comfortable. Enjoyed the food and wine choices we made. Friendly and helpful service.

Jared was a great server, it was a chilly evening and they accommodated us very nicely! Great wine selection and The food was amazing! Lots of delicious flavors and we look forward to dining there again. I highly recommend getting the truffle added to the risotto, its was awesome!

Outstanding even during a pandemic - dining around it’s beautiful-porch & green lawn , an outstanding literally, dinner. Octopus was the best I’ve ever tasted worldwide & the filet Mignon melts in your mouth. Excellent wine & service

Very quaint outdoor dining experience. Chef came by to personally check in with patrons. Lights, flowers, romantic garden setting. Food was excellent! We will visit again when we are in the area.

We were at the restaurant and the Inn for my birthday. Food was excellent. I had the duck and my husband had pork. However, we were a bit surprised that NOTHING was done to acknowledge my birthday.

Food was exceptional. Creative and definitely tasty! Only reason not to give 5 stars across the board was that it was cold where we sat. We were outdoors (as required during Covid) on a chilly evening, but we didn't have a heater. I had a warm vest on, but was still cold, especially by the end of the meal

They have handled the social distancing perfect. The food in consistently delicious. I have to say the duck is so good I order it every time we go. The Hamachi, perfect. Great wine selection.

Overall a bad experience... mainly the service.

Indonesian owned establishment (which I support as I’m Asian) but this was an disappointment.

As for food...2 dishes were excellent (uni ceviche & octopus) and 2 below average (mushroom risotto & pan fried noodle). I’m extremely particular about my risotto, I’ve perfected mine. Their risotto was slightly over cooked & mushy, flavor was so-so & their pan fried noodle was the worst I’ve had. I think you have to be Indonesian to appreciate their noodles...I happen to dislike Indonesian flavors, I think it’s too heavy & all other Asian noodles are superior. I didn’t realize when I ordered it that it was Indonesian style... ugh!

For service, there was quite a bit of checking in the first 40 min. The chef and server checked on our first 2 dishes which were both good. Then everyone disappeared the next hour. It took 30 min from the last dish to the desert. Then another 20 to get our bill. When we complained about the slow service, it ended up turning to an issue about $10 dessert I didn’t want. If I knew that there was a$10 charge for dessert, I would have passed (didn’t want to wait in the freezing cold). We were extremely cold, they didn’t care, no heat lamp where I sat. It was my birthday dinner & I would highly suggest you do not spend any special occasions here. Since the pandemic, I notice most restaurants went above and beyond for patrons, the ownership here did not care... and it was obvious their servers did not either. I have a feeling their servers are high turnover as they are quite inexperienced for such a high end restaurant.

Great wine selection along with an outstanding meal. Pan fried noodles were delicious along with sliders! Would highly recommend for a cute date night or with friends for a quiet delicious dinner.

The foods are so delicious. Duck breast and steak are moist and tender, yummy!

Even with a somewhat limited main course menu, can't go wrong at the Gathering Table. Appetizers were superb (hamachi and pork & shrimp shumai) and the main course (lamp chops) was creatively prepared and delicious. Dessert (hazelnut chocolate ice cream scoops) was at the top of my list for ice cream---very creamy with a distinctive flavor. Yummy. Outdoor seating was well spaced.

So good we ate here for both nights of our 2 night stay in SYV. A little pricey but I’ll pay for a good meal. Get the bacon mashed potatoes. You won’t be disappointed!
