   Rather disappointing on this occasion. Invredibly loud space. Average tasting food and the burger on the dry bland side. the zucchini fritti way too oily. I felt sick afterwards. The coffee dessert drink absolutely appalling and way too sugary for what it was sold to be. On the expensive end for such performance. Service ok, but really annoying to keep being interrupted by the waiter just to take another plate or to rush to order, when we were obviously engaged into a deeper conversation. The bathroom lacking any paper towels.

   Lovely restaurant, part of The Ivy group. We were a party of 4 women. We had the set menu 2 courses for £22.50, 3 coures for £27.50. The food was very taaty and nicely presented. Service also good. Definitely will return.

   It was lovely food but unfortunately ruined by the waitress spilling a drink all over my girlfriend, and the poor way it was handled. We had to ask someone else (since the waitress disappeared) to clean up the broken glass by our feet, as we were unable to be moved due to a busy restaurant. The waitress was then very abrupt and clearly unhappy with us the whole duration we were there, as if it were our fault this happened. Unfortunately we did have to ask for the service charge to be removed due to this. Probably would not dine here again. We understand accidents like this happen but it could have been dealt with so much better.

    Nice interior and good location BUT we had to ask to be served after waiting a long time, then it took another 25min for the coffees to arrive and in total about an hour until we had our food which was cold (eggs benedict on stale English muffins). The buttermilk pancakes were nice enough. The place was very busy so I understand they were struggling a bit but surely they should be used to busy Sunday lunch times and learn to deal with them better.

    We booked a table for 3 people at 11:00. We ordered food straight away as we had another event at 1:00. 11:30 there was no food so we explained to waiter we we needed the food as we had to leave. We got the impression that order had not been put through but nobody explained it to us. At 11:40 we requested to see the manager as there was no food. Manager did not come to the table. 12:00 no food so we approached the manager directly who did not offer an explanation about lack of food. We left the restaurant and had to purchase a sandwich before moving to our next event. Will not come back and will not recommend it to anyone. Appalling service and lack of accountability

    The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. But the bar staff were rude and impatient and the waiter didn't once smile through the whole 3 courses we ordered. Food was unfortunately very average and the bill was very expensive. I'm happy to pay for good food. I don't expect nice restaurants to be cheap but I felt disappointed throughout. Sorry to be so negative I think the staff at the entrance were lovely the ladies were all very polite and helpful but once we stepped into the restaurant it wasn't the same vibe at all. I hope this review will give food for thought as the restaurant has huge potential but really let down by the staff..

    Poor service from the beginning. Arrived on time for a booking but we were seated at the bar and forgotten about while they prepared our table. After reminding them they seated us only to forget about us again, no menus given or orders taken for a long time. Other people arrived and were seated after us but served before us. The food itself came quickly and was lovely. Very slow service after this even when trying to pay the bill. The service charge does not reflect the poor service here. When they asked for feedback about the service the staff member just made excuses and didn’t really take it on board. Won’t be returning unfortunately.

    Seated quickly, drinks and mains delivered to the table in express timing, cheese and sorbet desserts not so quick but absolutely fine. Very busy restaurant, felt a little rushed but we were in a hurry as moving on to a show locally so suited us.

    We had booked for 7.30pm but the table was not ready - the diners before us had not even ordered their dessert! So we had a long wait for our table. But once we got our table, the service, speed of delivering the food, and the food itself was great.

    A gorgeous place - it looks beautiful inside. Impeccable service and quite a large choice of food - all of ours was a delicious. It was full when we were there and so quite noisy but it wasn't overwhelming and we chatted easily. A real treat. Would definitely recommend!

    avocado and tomato salad was minimal, unimaginative, expensive and like baby food. surprise birthday bun arrived after we paid and too late to eat. 13.5% service charge is outrageous!

    Really disappointed in general care for guests. The table was late, the bartenders left us standing without drinks for about 20 mins and were quite rude and abrupt to be honest! Appeared to find it funny that I ordered a glass of Prosecco and made no attempt to hide it! General disinterest in us and the meal felt very flat. Luckily we were happy to eat anywhere to be honest and just have a catch up but we certainly won’t be returning or recommending an Ivy based on this experience.

    Since we moved office to the Kings Cross area, I have been to the Brasserie a few times. I previously used to frequently dine at the Ivy in Kensington and am used to the busy/noisy atmosphere. The food is good, and it's a good restaurant for business lunches. However, I do find the staff at the Kings Cross branch a bit strange. Front of house feels awkward at best, I always feel like I'm bothering them rather than receiving a warm welcome. Waiting staff could also be better. The lady looking after us talked so quietly, we could hardly hear her over the background noise. A bit of training wouldn't go a miss to give staff more confidence, but also improve their service level in general. as it is right now, it really lets the brand down

    Food was good but service was poor. Had to grab a member of staff every time we wanted something (to order, the bill etc) and didn’t get served upon. Drinks came after food once we chased them. Was really noisy and felt quite chaotic. Wouldn’t return.

    Great waiters Explained the menu well and made recommendations Got a reservation last minute Only not so great experience was the service when checking in for the booking.. made to wait in an overcrowded foyer before being taken to the table. Lady on reception desk was a bit odd.

    Saturday afternoon lunch with friends. Return visit here but was very busy and noisy today. Food was very good as was the service to a point. We felt we were being rushed when our main course was brought to us before we had finished our starter and there was no attempt to clear any finished plates until we asked. In fact, there was no pressure to leave the table so obviously a timing misjudgment. Bit disappointed but we still had a lovely lunch and probably will return.
