The Grapevine Restaurant
Our 1st time at the Grapevine was exceptional although our party was a bit smaller and our arrival time was earlier in the A.M. the food was plentiful and very good. This time because our group was larger we could only get a reservation at 12:45PM. Upon our arrival the restaurant was very crowded with the overflow out the door. After checking in with the hostess we still had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated. When gong thru the line the 1st time some items on the buffet line were empty and I was told that they were out of them (blintz's, eggs benedict and I believe French toast. Just before we were ready to leave I noticed that some of the above mentioned items were restocked and back on the buffet line.
They do not have diced tomato's or spinach for their omelet orders but they are delicious any way you otherwise order them. I'm sure we will be back but we'll try to get an earlier reservation.
Enjoyed a delicious brunch. Our server was attentive throughout. Table cleared in a timely manner. Beverages also refilled quickly.
Loved the parmesan crusted baked fish with cheddar mashed potatoes!
Great service , food, and ambiance. Loved the fish tanks especially with a 5 yr. old with us.
Great all around restaurant. The food is always good,
Whether you having Burgers or Veal Oscar, it’s always delicious!!
It was my first time sitting under the patio, and that was beautiful! Our waitress was not very good, though. I am not one to ever complain about service, as I understand every situation is unique. However, this was a something a little different. Our waitress would come over and ask a question, but before the whole question was completed, she walked away. We never had time to respond. I wanted a refill on a drink and had to call her back over after she had walked away before hearing my answer. This happened more than once. The food was good, and again, the patio was great! I won’t stop coming here because of this one experience; it was just a shame that the service put a damper on an otherwise solid evening.
Birthday they do nothing for birthday. Also thought there would been some kind of meat. Not just bacon and breakfast sausage. It was brunch and 1:30.
First time at The Grapevine....won’t be the last. Great food for a cold winter’s night, wide variety of choices. All members of our party were thrilled!
Surprised they didn't have any prosecco and the champagne they did have wasn't that great. They brought it out with a bottle cooler that was at room temp. I left a note on the comment card that the coolers should be refrigerated. I keep one in the freezer at home.
We had the dinner for two Valentine special for $59.99. It was very good.
I asked that my fillets would be very rare and they appeared to be more of a medium rare, but they were still delicious.
The pita wedges that came with the lobster dip were fantastic. Buttery and crisp on the outside, soft and warm on the insides.
My husband and I went for dinner on Valentines Day, we chose one of the special dinners, and it was great. Services is amazing , and the food was really good...Definitely will return.
I came for my birthday dinner with family. Darla was our waitress and she was wonderful. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent!!
Excellent food and service! Very pleased with our dinner experience! Will definitely go back!
Great food and service also great prices. The twisted food is great. They also have a great fish fry for you to try.
Best place in town for a Friday fish fry! Beer battered haddock is only offered Fridays and is a favorite!
We love this restaurant. We were somewhat disappointed this time because we had to wait for almost 30 minutes despite having a confirmed reservation.
It was great to see that the restaurant is doing so well. Perhaps they were short staffed. Anyway, everything else was wonderful as usual!
I loved the scenery, the friendliness of the waitresses and the food was amazing.
After reading about their free birthday dinner offer, our family decided to try the Grapevine for dinner on a Sunday night. The menu has a lot to offer. They even have a separate menu for vegetarians. The prices are very reasonable. The wines by the glass are not your ordinary choices; it was nice to see some different options. My husband was happy they had Stella by the glass, but they ran out while we were there. The free birthday dinners were limited to 5 different entrees. We all ordered something different. I had a vegetarian burger with fries, along with the French onion soup. The soup was very good, better than many places I’ve tried. The veggie burger was served on a roll with cheese, lettuce and tomato. It was ok, not my favorite. It could have used more interesting toppings. The French fries were waffle cut and a bit salty for me. Our server was excellent and took very good care of our large party very efficiently and had a great sense of humor. Overall we enjoyed our night.
We arrived at about 6:15 and were seated promptly.
When we went to give our order to the server the first 3 things I ordered off of the menu were out of stock. That is extremely poor inventory management to be out of that many items at 6:30 on a Saturday evening.
I eventually ended up ordering Chicken Bruschetta. The food was served in a very inappropriate vessel. The dish was a 6 inch deep bowl filled with spaghetti and the piece of chick on top of it. With the chicken sitting on top of the spaghetti when I attempted to cut the chicken all it did was push the meat down into the soft pasta. With no hard surface for the chicken to sit on it made cutting it, and therefore eating it, extremely difficult. This made for an very poor dining experience.
When attempting to order a refill of my drink we asked 3 different people for a refill. About 5 minutes later my wife got up and asked the hostess to please take care of it. The service was quite poor. The person that took our order never brought anything out to the table, everything was delivered by others making it difficult to know who to ask for anything.
The electronic checkout device is HORRIBLE. The server is just hovering over you and there is no privacy when deciding if they have earned a tip or not, and if so, how much.
We used to greatly enjoy this restaurant, but the food and service have gone down noticeably in the recent past and I seriously doubt we will ever go back. It was an absolutely horrible experience.
The food was very good and the service was excellent. I would definitely come back again!
I want to eat here all the time! Everything is always so good, can't say enough good things about The Grapevine!!
I feel priced are high and food quality is mediocre
Good food for good value
Food was delicious. Service great! We didn't have to wait for a waitress to come over when we needed something, they checked in regularly. My family is Celiac and no one came home sick, so that to us makes this restaurant top notch - when they care enough to take extra precautions! My husband had the GF weck roll, and was so happy!!! he hasn't had one of those in about 10 years!!! We will definitely be back.
Went to the Grapevine Restaurant early on New Year's Eve and found it had changed so much since our last visit but for the better. Even though there were quite a few diners, there was no problem talking to each other, and not hearing other conversations. All of the wait staff were efficient, friendly and informative. It took a while to decide what to order as there were so many wonderful sounding dishes (we'll have to come back to try more of them). The food was delicious and we didn't feel rushed, nor had to wait for long periods between courses. Can't wait to come back.
Somewhat disappointed that there wasn't a "holiday" menu.
The Grapevine never fails to be an outstanding choice for a fantastic dining experience. Every facet of our dinner was excellent. Thank you for providing this service to our community! Please continue your diligent efforts!
Server was friendly and informative. Food was delicious. A bit noisey but it's the holiday season.
As usual, we enjoyed a relaxing, yet talkative time in the garden/patio room. The food was delicious and the wait staff was wonderful. Each of our party of 6 ordered something different and the availability of gluten free and vegetarian menus was very welcome. We were surprised that it wasn't busier at lunchtime, but at least that gave us time to chat as we ate an unhurried lunch.
Great, we weren’t rushed and had time to talk to each other.
Excellent quality food. Price is great for the menu selection. But our waitress was slow. We will try again and hopefully its just as good or better
We had a group of 7 for dinner our table was ready when we arrived. The waitress was friendly and accommodating doing separate bills for each of us. Everyone enjoyed their meal I had the crusted fish which was delicious and one friend had the eggplant parmesan and said it was the best she's ever had.
The food was col including each time i got the eggs benedict there was no toaster for the breads which was weird to have non toasted bread for breakfast and everything was very salty.
The server was absolutely amazing tho!
The Sunday Brunch was outstanding and very reasonably priced.
The service was excellent, Bree is great at what she does. Everyone else that came to the table with drinks, salads, etc. was very personable and pleasant.
The food was very good, and the prices were very reasonable.
I would have preferred if the lights were just a bit dimmer, but that would be my only criticism.
I am pretty sure you have the best fish fry in this area! Hands down the service and wait staff are courteous and efficient. I have brought friends and family with me to enjoy your entire meal selection.. I have even done take out for myself! There is nothing more to say than Great job on it all.. food, drinks, service and kindness!
Excellent service. Friendly and professional staff. Never had a bad meal at the Grapevine. The food is always top shelf.
We were visiting family and they had chosen this restaurant because they enjoy it. It was our first time here and it was wonderful!
Food and service was great. Had an open table reservation and we were not seated until 35 minutes past the reservation time and after we insistently inquired. We waited as long for a table as folks coming in without reservations. Luckily the food and service made up for some of the original aggravation.
The service is odd, several different people serving different items. Two people from my party asked for extra sauce and had to ask a few different servers. After 10 minutes the sauce arrived at our table. By then the food was cold. Also the soup and salad arrived seconds before the entrée. The food is good but the service is not.
Restaurant Week brought us in to experience the Grapevine. Food was excellent! Service was very efficient.
